And then glitch that “male me” via Glitché. Next, I created an animation avatar of me via “My Idol”, also I created another fantastic avatar for my idol, Justin Timberlake. lol Finally, it is endless loading………………………………………….You could guess any ending you would like.

Justin Timberlake is very handsome!!!! He is my first idol, who is from Western countries. So I also find some inspiration from his popular track-Sexy Back. I use supercut to edit this song as a BGM of my video. And I create an avatar of Justin in sexy bikini via “My Idol” application and let him dance with me. It is very funny but he is still very handsome!

“My Idol” is a Chinese application, but recently I heard that it is very popular with Western countries. Even you could find many tutorials to teach you how to use it under a Chinese operation interface lol. If you want, I can teach you Chinese language~HAHA

This first picture is the moustache that bring me much inspiration.
And the second one is cosmetics I used to “change myself to a boy”, I have to say becoming a boy is really easier than becoming a beautiful girl. lol. I just used some shadow powder and brow powder.

Do you guys know this awesome function of MacBook? Record dynamic contents of iPhone via QuickTime Player. This is the first time I know it when I looked for some methods to record my iPhone operation process. Cool!
Firstly, link your iPhone via USB cable, and open QuickTime Player.
Then, click New Movie Recording and choose your iPhone in the menu of camera.
Finally, click the “red spot” to record!

Final Video Project: Inspiration
I have planed to create a video with “ Keyboard Art” concept, but because of some technology problem, I fell into a difficult circumstance. When I felt very disappointed and hopeless, I find a fake mustache in my room. This mustache was bought for another drama assessment of Screen Practice class. And then I got some inspiration from it. Why not make up myself to a boy? It should be very cool! So I did this video with this idea.

Strategy notes from Andy
- don’t think about it too much
- start by doing stuff / do something
- experiment
- remixologies: take something that exists already and mess with it
- use the archive: youtube, DVD collection, own families archives, phone
- tools: supercut (cory archangel), research, critical thinking, machinima, processing
- general idea, don’t need to have final outcome in your head
- allow yourself to get lost

JODI
Untitled Game Modification fo Video game (Quake 1) 1996-2001, sound, CD-ROM
“Untitled Game is a set of modifications, or ‘mods,’ of the video game Quake 1. There are 13 versions of the piece for PC and 12 for Mac.
Untitled Game was made just as game modifications began to gain widespread recognition as an art form unto itself. JODI made the piece by altering the graphics of Quake as well as the software code that makes it work. Their mods reduced the complex graphics of Quake 1 to the bare minimum, aiming for maximum contrast between the complex soundscapes and the minimal visual environment. For the mod 'Arena,’ JODI took this principle to the extreme: they completely erased every graphical element of the game, turning monsters, characters and backgrounds all to white. The more psychedelic 'Crl-Space,’ the earliest of the set, is not based on a static image. Instead, it features a swirling black-and-white background. The game engine generates this effect as it continuously tries, and fails, to visualize the interior of a cube lined with black-and-white wallpaper.
Playing the game is very simple — just use the arrow keys to navigate, and the 'enter’ key to shoot.” — Mike Connor, FACT, Liverpool.
