Just because your brain is hardwired to hate yourself because of mental illness, doesn’t mean you should constantly put yourself down and ask for attention and pity from your friends. If you really are the person your MI makes yourself out to be, you wouldn’t have us as friends. 

It takes a long time, help, and bad days, but you HAVE TO TRY TO LEARN TO STOP PUTTING YOURSELF DOWN. Or you’ll turn into the person your anxiety and depression say you are. And that’s not fair to you.

And for those that don’t know me, I struggle with this myself. I have depression and anxiety that I’m medicated for (sort of, meds aren’t fully helping anymore). I will always struggle with these thoughts. But seeing friends claim #depression or claim #thatsjusthowitis, #wontchange, #whoIam is selfish destructive behavior.

I feel like I'm writing an episode of Supernatural. (My character is mad because angels are celebrating the death of a fallen angel, who chose to fall and die and remain in purgatory/limbo to raise all the other fallen/falling angels and give them a second chance.)

L: "You couldn't rip me apart if you had a million years and a million tries."

kosuke081: "Just go. I haven't killed in over a century, hunting me down now is stupid."

L: "I thought I would save you the trouble, since you have such anger over the death of a fallen angel who chose his fate."

Hello! My name is Elizabeth, my friends call me Mitzy. I was born with an under bite and over time it’s grown worse with age. As I got older my jaw also caused me to develope TMJ. My jaw locks and pops several times a day and it’s only getting worse and more painful. My jaw is my biggest insecurity. I refuse to take pictures of my profile and I absolutely hate my smile. My friends have always supported me and suggested I do a donation to help raise the funds to help me correct it, but I could never bring myself to do it knowing so many other people also suffer from this same issue. But, I’ve finally decided to ask for the help required to have the work done to correct my jaw structure. My family has never been able to afford braces or correctional surgery and I’m hoping with the kindness and help from other’s that I’ll be able to make my biggest dream come true.
