Absolutely gutted. 💔
This morning I was super excited thinking I had been one of the lucky few to manage to get a wheelchair space at Hyde Park BST to see @taylorswift. Turns out the company allocated me the wrong place and now they’ve run out of wheelchair spaces. I was so excited and I’m gutted that I can’t go because of my disability. Would anybody mind tagging @taylornation to see if anybody can help? 💔💔💔

And this is why we love and respect and admire her! She was not only thinking about herself but also about all the other artists who don’t have her fame and influence! ❤️

4 years of the album 1989 (October 27, 2014)
— “The debate over whether people change is an interesting one for me to observe because it seems like all I ever do is change. All I ever do is learn from my mistakes so I don’t make the same ones again. Then I make new ones. I know people can change because it happens to me little by little every day. Every day I wake up as someone slightly new. Isn’t it wild and intriguing and beautiful to think that every day we are new?”

Flashback to New York when we were shopping in the Westfield Centre and they literally had a Taylor marathon:
WANEGBT, Blank Space, IKYWT, Bad Blood.. all her big hits! Then this one wanted to actually go shopping whilst I was dancing around like a goof 😂

Taylor’s dancer Robert posted this on his Instagram story and it’s heartbreaking:

If we could send him love and appreciation that would be great. Oh! Also! Don’t be fucking racist! And if you see stuff like this happening, check on poc and make sure they’re okay! Call the racism out! Be strong in your allyship!

"You'd make twice as much if you switch it up just to see.." - Nicki Minaj
I’m so grateful for 1989 as an album. It was Taylor’s breakaway record from country into pop. It was pretty risky, no one was sure if she’d be as successful as a pop star, especially since she was such a successful country star. Who else has pulled this off? Who else has switched genre mid career with such success, such ease? I think it will be a long time before popular culture recognises that Taylor Swift is one of the best, if not the best, songwriter of this generation. And I think when people do recognise that they will point to 1989 as a gold stand date for incredible song writing.

To the people who couldn’t get out of their bed today, I’m here for you…
To the people who skipped showering because they didn’t have the energy, I’m here for you…
To the people who cried in agony through their shower, I’m here for you…
To the people who suffer daily but no one believes them, I’m here for you…
To the people who feel like they’ve lost or are losing their youth to their medical issues, I’m here for you…
To the brave people fighting for their health every day, I’m here for you, I support you, I believe you. Your feelings are valid, you are loved, and I will stand behind you.

Speak Now as an album means a lot to me, not only because Taylor wrote it all by herself, but because nearly every song has helped me in one difficult situation or another, throughout the last 5 or so years 🌟
For example:
Mine ~ An ex boyfriend of mine had this written on his wardrobe door, and he had a drawer of my things at his place. I was also in college, working part-time as a waiter 😂
Back to December ~ I wrote the chorus to this song in a Valentine's Day card to a guy that I broke up with, because I could NOT reciprocate his feelings, no matter how hard I tried 🙄
Speak Now ~ My best (guy) friend married my ex-girlfriend (of a long, long time ago) last Summer, and at their wedding I joked in my head that I'd stop it. I'm not the kind of guy who should be rudely interrupting a white-veil occasion, though 😉
Dear John ~ I'm obsessed with the last part of the bridge, "I took your matches before fire could catch me", and I feel like this is also me, escaping from every toxic relationship I've had in the past.
Mean ~ Just like with most people, this song helped me so much when people continually picked on me for things I couldn't control. In my head, I always imagined myself moving on to bigger and better things whilst they remained mean, pathetic bullies.
Better Than Revenge ~ When said ex-boyfriend got a new man, and I insisted that he'd underestimated just who he had stolen from 🤔
Last Kiss ~ When my first boyfriend and I broke up way back in 2012, this was my go-to sad song. I know July 9th is THE Last Kiss day but I could still cry listening to it even now 😭
Superman ~ That one "tall, dark and beautiful" person I always dreamed I'd end up.. now I'm with another one entirely, doing better than I ever was.
Speak Now is a masterpiece, and we will never EVER be worthy of it. I love you @taylorswift, I've been here for almost 10 years and I will be forever 💕
