Toot’s shrieks and squeals filled the trailer and he loved it. He loved his daughter so much, so being able to play with her and see how happy he made her made him smile happily. “Nah, not yet. Where we going to eat?” He asked, feeling Diavia kissing him back over and over.

She grinned at their daughter her shrieks and squeals were always her favorite, Diavia was filled with so much light and love that it was nearly impossible for anyone to not love her. “We can go to Lucille’s Smokehouse, I’m in the mood for some barbecue..” She nodded as she kept her eyes on him.

Shooting took a while and their shoots were separate due to the content of what they were doing, but it was okay. Because now they were getting close to the end of the day, knowing they would be shooting their scenes together tomorrow. When he got to her  trailer, Toots was there and Onyx attacked her with kisses, laughing with their daughter.

Tahjea smiled when Onyx walked into her trailer, her smile grew wider when he attacked Diavia with kisses. She laughed as their daughter’s infectious laughter and squeals filled the trailer. She was glad that they filmed their separate scenes already and was looking forward to their scenes together tomorrow. “Did you eat?”

ONYX didn’t like acting but he knew he was capable. He just preferred basketball over everything else. He chuckled as he looked at her as she joked. “Yo man might get mad when I steal you away.” Onyx made a face when they took her away. When he was annoyed, it made his scenes easier to film. 

TAHJEA frowned when they took her from him to do her scenes. She did a few takes before they called for a break and naturally she went to go find some food at the craft tent. She made a plate for herself then called her mom to pick DIAVIA from school and bring her to the set.

ONYX had been in hair makeup and clothes and was done now, coming over to see TAHJEA and seeing her with her script. He didn’t need to really know his line but he loved the concept that Big Sean was presenting. Even if he was angry with his best friend for gassing up his sister while sleeping with that other girl and being messy, he had made a point. Black men don’t cheat. He almost kissed her, but he just smiled at her. “Look at you. Fine as always.”

TAHJEA was honored to be able to be part of something like this. The concept was different and spot on with the culture they were in. She grinned as his comment, “Thank you baby. You look better. Let me get your number real quick.” She joked with a smirk then kissed his cheek before she had to go film her scenes.

TAHJEA was sitting in her hair and make up trailer, going over the script for the scenes she needed to film for the music. Her character was actually pregnant so they didn’t need to use to prosthetic one they had. She walked out of the trailer and was nervous as she hadn’t done a music video in years. She grinned when she saw ONYX. It was still weird with DIAVIA in school but it made filming easier. // @theonyxdiamond

“Of course she does, but when she first started walking, you were super nervous, even though the whole house was baby proofed professionally.” He reminded her, shaking his head. “You let your demons out and they can destroy you too, I prefer keeping them quiet. If enough time goes away, they can die.” He was hoping that was the case either way. “I think I have to do Oprah, it’s OPRAH. But I’ll try to keep it less about past demons and more about current things.” He said, shrugging. He stepped out, enjoying being in the pool, Toots all over him and she was squeezing he mess out of him as they splashed around. He had escaped the kids, standing next to Tah before laughing. “I think everyone is forgetting the time they asked me to perform that New Edition tribute. I was so out of breath.”

“Because she could’ve hurt herself! Those edges still looked sharp!” She defended her own flaws. She sighed, looking at him. “If you say so,” she said not wanting to start an argument with him. TAHJEA grinned at him, “That’s a great idea and we just have to hope she asks surface level stuff, she’s not Wendy Williams where she’ll get all up in our business.” She stated. She couldn’t help but laugh at the memory of his New Edition tribute, yeah that was very entertaining, you still haven’t taught me those moves.”

“The little ones always grow up so fast, at least that’s how I feel. I remember the day my little cousin was born and now she’s walking and talking, but at least she looked adorbs going to her first day of preschool. I’m good though, just a little tired. Summer weddings have been keeping me busy, but I can’t complain since I am doing what I enjoy.”

“They grow up way too fast! She said she had a fun day, I was hoping she hated every minute and didn’t want to go back. That’s good! Oh, do you want to plan mine coming this Fall? I’m kidding - mostly.”

ONYX shook his head at her, with a smile. “We’re right here with her and we got this. We’ll let her take some lessons though.” He stayed quiet for a moment. Those demons were better kept to himself, but she didn’t know the depth of his demons and he didn’t want her to. “Maybe.” He said softly, attempting to smile but failing. “I don’t know, Oprah is hard but Iyanla is more straight forward, but I really don’t want to do either.” He said, before locking pinkies with a small laugh. She was so ridiculously cute sometimes he couldn’t help it. Smacking her ass as she handed out the hotdogs and hamburgers, he took off his shirt. Closing the grill, he stepped away, getting ready to be the best dad and step into the pool. There was a lot of self meditating still, but he wasn’t around the house doing it, because she had put him out before on a few really high occasions.  Right now, he was  in the pool at this little going back to school party they had thrown for a few of the kids.

TAHJEA nodded, “I know but she makes me nervous when she’s in there without her swim vest or floaties.” She confessed then agreed to getting DIAVIA swimming lessons. “You know if you keep them in, you’ll end up suffocating yourself and that’s not healthy.” She stated then took a breath, “Do you have to do either? Can we just do the interview portion with the both of us?” She asked then grinned when they locked pinkies. She stuck her tongue out at him when he smacked her ass. She laughed softly then finished handing out the hotdogs and hamburgers. She cleaned up a bit before going into the pool herself for a cool down. “I’m excited to read the script.” She confessed, looking at ONYX as she sat on the pineapple floaty.
