Stranger Danger - Loki Laufeyson
Tumblr media
summary:
by a miracle, loki survives thanos' attempt to murder him and you find him trying to break in your house
pairing: loki laufeyson x reader
words: 1.86k
note: this took way too long, i’m sorry! i’ve been busy with a lot of stuff.
...
The lack of noise in the once busy streets was almost deafening.
You knew this was going to be the norm for the next couple of years until all of humanity, or at least your neighbourhood, got back on its feet. It was very depressing to admit, but you doubted everything would be the same again. Not with half of the population reduced to nothing but dust.
Despite the grave thoughts that kept visiting your mind constantly for the past few days, you’ve tried to live your life as normally as you can; knowing that mucking around in the confines of your room would do you no good.
So here you were, walking home from the supermarket in a street that’s far too quiet than usual.
You turned a corner towards your street, hoping to spot a neighbour out of their home today. The amount of interaction you’ve had with your neighbours ever since everyone disappeared was starting to become worrisome. In fact, the number of times you’ve seen any of them in the past few days was a whopping zero.
You were starting to believe that you’re the only one who’s survived in your area.
You were busy pondering the whereabouts of everyone you were acquainted with when you heard a faint noise; which sounded awfully a lot like someone’s voice. You directed your attention towards it and quickly spotted a tall figure a few ways ahead.
You halted in your tracks and squinted your eyes to get a better view. Pale skin, long dark hair and wait – is that a costume?
As far as you knew, not a single cosplayer lived in the vicinity. Though to be fair, you didn’t trust any of the information stored in your brain anymore. Not with beings like superheroes and an army of aliens popping out of the blue every now and then.
As you got nearer, the more it dawned on you that this man definitely did not live in your neighbourhood. Not only because his face was unfamiliar, but it was also because he looked very out of place in his leathery dark green suit and flowy cape.
“– just open!” Was all you managed to catch from the strange man’s session of frustrated shouts.
“Oh no,” You muttered to yourself when you realized he wasn’t standing on just about anyone’s front porch. He was on your front porch – trying to open your front door.
You let out a small groan and picked up your pace, fully knowing you couldn’t ignore him even if you wanted to. It was either that or letting a trespasser enter your private property.
You took it as your cue to speak when you were well within his earshot. “Uh, sir? Excuse me, what –”
You came into another abrupt halt when you felt the rest of your words lodge themselves in the back of your throat. Your eyes traced the side of his head with your mouth slightly hung agape.
His hair was caked in dried and somewhat fresh blood, which had dripped down to stain the skin on his face. You would’ve been impressed if it was Halloween – but it wasn’t, and the blood looked very, very real.
In hindsight, you probably had bigger matters to worry about than being robbed. A great example would be getting murdered, but it’s a little bit too late for that now you realized.
You contemplated running away as fast as you could when he didn’t budge from his place. One of his hands was resting on the doorknob and his gaze remained glued to the door. Your breath got caught in your throat when he glanced your way slowly, peering at you from the corner of his eyes.
A moment of silence passed. The blank stare you directed towards each other would’ve been comical if he didn’t look like he had just risen from a grave.
“Er –” You began to say, pausing when he turned to face you fully.
He crossed his arms in front of him, head slightly tilted to the side. “What business do you have with me, Midgardian?”
Mid – what?
You chose to ignore it, deciding it was probably part of whatever character he was trying to portray – if he really was doing a cosplay. They hadn’t added new members of the Avengers, had they? Man, it was probably high time you updated yourself in these things.
Your somewhat perplexed expression morphed into an anxious one. “You’re… On my property.”
The man seemed to perk up a little upon hearing your words. “Ah – splendid,” He commented, a ghost of a smile appearing briefly on his lips. “I would be eternally grateful if you could open the door for me.”
You blinked at him, looking utterly bewildered. “Am I supposed to know you?” You inquired, unsure if you were being dragged into an elaborate prank or was genuinely being asked to open the door for a stranger.
He looked taken aback, either by your cluelessness or courage to ask questions, you didn’t know which one. “I’m Loki, prince of Asgard.” He rose one hopeful brow. “God of Mischief?” He was staring at you as though you should have recognized him by now; though it became rather apparent after a while that you still had no inkling who he was.
Loki, if he wasn’t lying about his name, inhaled deeply, an expression of mixed exasperation and disappointment evident on his features. “I’m Thor’s brother.”
You arched an eyebrow at how pained he sounded to admit that. “Thor from the Avengers has a brother?”
“I’m adopted.”
“Oh,” You remarked awkwardly and shifted your gaze elsewhere, thinking of how to say your next set of words carefully. “Adopted or not… Shouldn’t you have powers? Why couldn’t you just uh, magic yourself inside?”
Loki looked at you indignantly. He opened his mouth to retort back but no words came out. You were no genius when it came to guessing but you were pretty sure he didn’t want to admit that he wasn’t capable of doing so.
He heaved a deep sigh, sensing that he wouldn’t be able to convince you any time soon. Loki brought up a hand towards you, a dagger clutched in his palm. “I didn’t want to have to resort to this.”
You quickly stumbled backwards with widened eyes, finally convinced that he was neither cosplaying nor pranking you. Loki observed the frightened look plastered on your features and for a split second, he felt a sudden surge of reluctance go through him.
He glanced back and forth between you and his hand before letting out a groan of annoyance, bringing his weapon down. A couple of years ago he wouldn’t have hesitated to take all life on Earth but now, he couldn’t even kill one mere mortal. How touching.
“Listen,” Loki pinched the bridge of his nose with his free hand, another sigh slipping through his lips. “I’m horribly injured and my ability to self-heal isn’t working as well as it should, or any of my abilities for the matter. I simply need a place to stay for the meantime.”
You stared at him for a second, the hammering in your chest still present. “How can I be sure that you won’t hurt me?”
Loki returned your gaze. “You’ll just have to trust me.”
Wow, truly convincing words.
You suspiciously eyed the hand that was holding the blade. “You won’t try to murder me, will you?”
He followed your line of sight. “Oh. No. I - I wouldn’t, I don’t think my brother would be thrilled if I did.” A flash of green light engulfed his hand, taking the dagger with it as it went away.
Oh, so he really is a god.
You stood there for a moment, weighing your options. It did seem like he was telling the truth – green light tricks and everything.
You sighed.
Loki stepped aside as you walked towards the door, a paper bag clutched on one arm and the other busy fishing keys out of your pockets. You pushed the door open and walked inside, Loki tailing closely after you.
A small thump echoed within the space of your living room as you dropped the bag on the coffee table. Without waiting for your permission, Loki plopped himself down on the soft cushions of your sofa, looking weary as can be.
You turned to face him after the last bit of uneasiness has fled your body. It was rather rare that a Norse god would pull out a dagger and threaten to stab you.
“Since I’m staying here,” Loki brought his tired gaze towards you, all emotion absent from his face. “Would you like to know how I arrived on Earth?”
Stunned that he was willing to share it with you, all you did was give a tiny nod.
Loki was brief in his storytelling, obviously having no energy to share every little detail. He had apparently been floating in space, pacing in and out of consciousness after Thanos’ attack. Until he woke up fully, finding himself lying face down in the middle of nowhere; just a kilometre away from where you lived.
Silence soon followed after Loki finished speaking. Loki’s expression was downcast like he had lost everything that was important to him – which wasn’t that far from the truth.
You cleared your throat obnoxiously in a desperate attempt to snap him out of his depressive state. “You probably want to take a shower, right?”
You flashed him a weak smile and gestured for him to follow you. As you opened the bathroom door, you remembered something important.
You held out your hand towards him. “I’m (Y/n), just a human.”
The next hour went by in a flash, you managed to force Loki into your oversized clothes and you got all of his wounds bandaged and cleaned up. Though he had been trying to tell you that the bandages were unnecessary and the cuts would heal themselves in no time. God or not, you didn’t want him to have an infection.
Now, the two of you were in your kitchen. Him, perched casually on one of the chairs around the dining table and you, cooking food.
After seeing the mournful look on Loki’s face earlier; you had officially made it your duty to take care of him until he got back into shape. It was almost pitiful how quickly you had gotten attached. Even the memory of you trying to shoo him off your property seemed a bit strange and distant now.
But you had to remind yourself not to get used to his presence, knowing he wasn’t going to stay for long.
And speaking of which –
“Hey, Loki. How long do you think you’ll be staying?” You asked, twisting the cap off the salt shaker.
No response.
You twisted around, confused as to why Loki had suddenly gone quiet only to find him taking a nap on his seat. He was using his arms as a cushion for his head, his still slightly damp hair sprawled all over the kitchen table. His eyebrows were drawn upwards in a peaceful expression.
You smiled at him fondly, feeling your troubled thoughts disperse for the first time in a couple of days. You turned back to the stove after deciding to not disturb his much deserved and needed rest.
You could always ask him when he wakes up.

Repercussions - Thor Odinson
Tumblr media
summary:
you get motion sick travelling through bifrost and thor is convinced you're dying
pairing: thor odinson x reader
word count: 1.97k
note: let’s all pretend everyone’s alive and asgard was never harmed
...
There was a bounce in Thor’s every step as he strolled inside the Avengers Tower’s kitchen early in the morning. Loki trailed closely behind the God of Thunder with his arms crossed over his chest, the corner of his lips quirked slightly to the side.
“Do you really think it’s such a great idea to bring (Y/n) to Asgard?” Loki inquired and leaned against the smooth marble counter, watching Thor turn around to face him with a mug clutched in his big hands.
Thor flashed him a beaming smile, it was almost blinding, and Loki found it quite difficult to stifle his chuckle. “Why, yes, of course! Mother and Father have been really eager to meet (Y/n), I don’t see any reason why I should get in the way of that.”
Loki narrowed his eyes in jest, the quirk of his lips extending to a faint smile. “Oh, really? And what does (Y/n) make of that?”
“(Y/n)’s very excited as well.” He informed Loki cheerfully and took a small sip of the liquid inside his mug.
“Then that’s going rather well for you, isn’t it?” Loki commented with an overly enthusiastic grin, showing off his teeth as he did so. It was somewhat suspicious for him to be so…buoyant.
It was a no-brainer that Loki was genuinely happy for his brother, but for him to be this open about his support was a bit concerning. Though Thor was far too ecstatic to take notice.
“I wouldn’t be too cheery if I were you, Brother,” Loki stated in an almost scolding tone and turned his back to the blond man. “You do know what happens to Midgardians who travel through Bifrost, don’t you?”
Ah, there it was.
For the first time, Thor’s smile fell. “What?”
“It isn’t safe.”
“What?” Thor echoed, placing his mug down on the countertop a bit noisily. “Jane did just fine.”
Loki inhaled deeply, his back still turned towards Thor. “It’s only because the Aether was in her body that she did not suffer any repercussions.” His tone dripped with something, was it…worry? Sadness? Well, whatever it was – it was a stark contrast to the mischievous grin on his face.
Classic Loki.
A hint of fear flashed on Thor’s bright blue eyes. He took a step forward towards his brother. “What do you know of this ‘repercussions’? How dangerous are they?”
“I’m afraid I can’t help you, Brother. I’m only aware of the consequences existence but not of what they are,” Loki truly sounded troubled, it would make any Oscar nominee run for their money. “I’m very sorry.”
He started to walk away before Thor could open his mouth and question him further. “You’ll be careful, won’t you, Brother?”
Loki was gone within a second, leaving Thor worried and conflicted on what was to happen later that day.
A couple of hours later and it was finally time to venture to Asgard. Thor had originally planned to tell you that he was officially cancelling the trip to his home, but one look at your excited expression and his resolve quickly crumbled.
After giving Loki’s words much thought, Thor decided it was merely one of his brother’s tricks. Loki’s messing with his head again and he had to give it to him – he’d almost done it successfully. There was no way what he said could be true.
Right?
Maybe it would’ve been wiser to simply ask Heimdall, but there’s no time for that now. The two of you had to leave.
Thor flew the both of you to a vast and empty grassy field where no one would witness the summoning of the Bifrost. You stood beside Thor, arm pressed against his, willing the hammering in your chest to go away.
You felt a swirl of emotions. Anticipation, anxiety and curiosity were mixing together inside your chest, causing butterflies to erupt wildly.
“Hold on to me,” Thor instructed, offering one muscular arm towards you. He gave you a soft smile. “Are you ready?”
You hooked your arm with his and nodded. “Yeah.”
A cylindrical stream light of shot down from somewhere in the sky and engulfed you and Thor. The next thing you knew, you were flying upwards at a rapid speed. A flurry of colours surrounded the two of you, with wide eyes you looked around.
Much to your pleasant surprise, you discovered that you if looked more carefully you could see faint traces of countless galaxies all around you. Your head turned at all directions, an exuberant expression on your face, drinking in the sight before you.
Then you felt it.
Your grin dropped along with your stomach. Your grip on Thor’s arm tightened, queasiness bubbling within you.
Then you were both walking on a solid surface, your arm still linked with his. You blinked your eyes, hoping to soothe the growing dizziness. Though that was a bit difficult when everything in your vision spun and twisted.
“How was it?” Thor’s deep voice reached your ears causing you to look up at him. There was a worried smile on his face, could he perhaps have known that you were going to feel sick afterwards?
No, he would’ve warned you prior to your travel. So what was it?
“It was amazing!” You replied, managing to return his smile despite your current state. You weren’t about to tell him that you felt like throwing up, he looked worried as it is.
“Thor,” A voice piped in, sounding pleased at the sight of the two of you. “And (Y/n), it’s a pleasure to finally meet you.”
You observed the dark-skinned man clad in full gold armour take careful steps down the platform he was standing on. He flashed you small smile and held a hand in front of him.
You quickly snapped out of your awed daze, unlinking your arm with Thor’s and slightly stumbling forward to shake his hand. You didn’t feel at all comfortable standing on your own feet without support at the moment, but you weren’t about to miss shaking hands with Heimdall.
“Thank you. It’s a pleasure to meet you as well.”
Thor chuckled before placing one of his hands on your shoulder. “I’m afraid I’ll have to cut your conversation short for now. Mother and Father told me to meet them upon our arrival.”
Heimdall nodded understandingly. “Of course,” He turned towards you, offering another grin. “Shall we continue this later?”
“Yes,” You answered merrily, feeling Thor’s arm snake around your waist. You waved at him. “See you later, Heimdall!”
You were flying once more, this time towards the Asgardian Palace. All of this flying was doing no good for your queasy stomach.
Thor set you down on your feet, the feeling of the flat surface beneath you was a warm welcome; you couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief. You were glad neither Heimdall nor Thor noticed earlier.
Thor shot you an unsettled gaze at the sound of your relieved sigh. He furrowed his eyebrows and planted a hand at the small of your back, urging you to walk forward.
With every step, the feeling of nausea within you grew significantly. You were almost at Odin’s Throne room when you knew you couldn’t take it anymore.
One of your hands instinctively clutched at Thor’s flowing red cape, the other placed tightly over your mouth as your figure bent slightly. You felt yourself gag and bile rise in your throat.
“(Y/n)!” Thor whipped around to face you, setting his hands on your upper arms for support; panic was written all over his face.
He glanced at each end of the long corridor before helping you sit down by one of the tall pillars. “No, no, no, no, no,” He chanted in distress. “I knew this would happen, I should’ve listened,” You felt his strong arms wrap around you before he picked you up bridal style, pressing a lingering kiss on your temple. “I’m so sorry, (Y/n). I shouldn’t have brought you here.”
You felt yourself flush. That sealed it. He definitely knew you were going to get sick, all right. How embarrassing. Though a bit of motion sickness shouldn’t have thrown him into such an alarm. Wasn’t Thor overreacting a little?
Thor spotted a pair of guards walking towards the two of you from a distance, he hurriedly yelled commands for them. “Inform the king and queen of (Y/n)’s condition!”
He immediately broke into a run, hugging you close to his chest. You wish you could’ve told him you were going to be fine, that you merely needed to lie down for a second. But you didn’t want to risk speaking only to throw up all over yourself and Thor.
The two of you entered what you guessed was the healing room. He barked orders to the Asgardians inside before placing you down gently on what you assumed where they diagnosed illnesses.
He kneeled beside you and clasped your hand in his, squeezing tenderly. “You’ll be all right, don’t worry.”
“Thor!” A woman’s voice rang out, you pushed yourself up to witness what was happening. A couple of people around you ushered you to lay back down.
Frigga and Odin entered the room, apprehension written on their features. Thor noticeably grew reassured when his eyes fell over the two. He swiftly turned to you and gestured. “(Y/n)’s dying!”
Wait, what?
“It’s my fault, Loki informed me of the dangers Midgardians face when travelling through Bifrost but I didn’t listen.” Thor brought his focus back to you, his gaze was unusually shiny from the tears that brimmed at the corner of his eyes.
You were too dumbfounded to say anything. You suspect you looked just about as lost as Thor’s parents who exchanged looks of confusion.
After a second or two, Odin cleared his throat loudly. “Thor, my son,” He started, his gaze drifting towards you then back at Thor. “No dangers exist.”
It was Thor’s turn to grow puzzled. “What?”
“It is completely safe for Midgardians to use Bifrost as a form of travel.”
“I don’t understand,” Thor mumbled almost inaudibly, casting everyone a bewildered look. “If that’s true, then why –?”
“I’m just motion sick,” You blurted out suddenly, surprising even yourself. “I’m not dying. I’m sorry, I thought you knew.”
Frigga gave him a knowing smile. “I suppose this means your brother has tricked you again.”
Thor was speechless, his hold on your hand loosened. You were sure he was embarrassed, it was rather apparent, especially when he couldn’t look at you in the eye.
The hand that previously held yours wrapped around Mjolnir’s handle. “I’m going to murder him.” He muttered lowly and stood up, clearly annoyed.
“Yes, yes,” Odin let out a light-hearted chuckle, patting Thor briskly on the back. “But before that – come, we have much to talk about.”
Before the two left, Odin faced you. “It’s good to see you, (Y/n).”
You could only muster a feeble smile and a nod of your head. Despite what happened, you still felt as terrible as before.
“I’ll take it from here,” Frigga announced to the Asgardian healers with a kind voice before assisting you out of the room promptly.
“I’m sorry,” You found yourself apologizing after walking a small distance away from the healing room. You felt your face start to heat up as you thought back on what happened.
Frigga hummed. “For what?”
“For all of that.” You uttered, your voice barely above a whisper.
She laughed mirthfully at your reply. “You needn’t be embarrassed, (Y/n),” She paused, leading you to another part of the palace. “All of that only happened because of Thor’s love for you.” Frigga glanced at you briefly, a good-natured smile on her lips. “If anything, you should feel happy.”
For the first time since arriving at Asgard, you felt a little bit better.

Kiss it Better - Loki Laufeyson
Tumblr media
summary:
loki lends you his dagger
pairing: loki laufeyson x reader
word count: 1.83k
...
Loki flipped another page of his book with his eyebrows slightly furrowed in irritation. His eyes leisurely scanned the words on the paper, trying his best to ignore the intensity of your stare from where you sat across from him.
“Loki –”
A loud groan of annoyance erupted from his figure as he threw his head back, effectively interrupting what you were about to say. His hands fell down to his lap, still holding tightly to each end of the open book.
“(Y/n),” Loki stated sternly, lifting his head from the back of the chair. “Will you give it a rest?” His obvious exasperation became even more evident as he closed the book with a snap and narrowed his eyes at you.
“I’m just asking if I could borrow your dagger for a minute.”
“And for the millionth time, I would like to politely decline your request.” Despite his choice of words, his tone was anything but polite – mocking would be more suitable.
You let out a long hefty sigh and felt like giving up for the first time in the countless hours you’ve been bugging the man in front of you. “Can you at least tell me why?”
Loki pursed his lips in a straight line. “Because you’ll only hurt yourself if I comply,” He stated matter-of-factly like it should’ve been clear to you from the start.
His seemingly genuine reply was only met by the rolling of your eyes and a hand thrown in the air dismissively. “That’s plain stupid. I won’t hurt myself.”
Loki simply rose an eyebrow at you and shifted in his seat, opening the leather-bound book in his hands once more. “You can try and convince yourself with your illusion of words, (Y/n), but you cannot fool me.”
Panic rose in your chest when it slowly dawned on you that you were, once again, losing Loki’s attention. You couldn’t let him ignore you – how were you supposed to convince him to lend you his dagger?
“Loki!” You exclaimed loudly, startling Loki and causing him to flinch. You removed yourself from your seat, lunging forward to snatch the book from his grasp to tuck it away behind your back. If he wasn’t going to give you his dagger then you weren’t returning his book.
Loki slowly rose from his seat, his emerald eyes boring into yours, never breaking eye contact. You felt your heartbeat pick up speed as he stepped closer to you, his height towering over yours.
“Do you have any idea what those pages contain, (Y/n)?” He muttered lowly while his arms came to wrap around you to grab the book from your hands. You couldn’t exactly protest when your face is pressed so closely against his hard chest, could you?
You let his fingers pry away your grip on the heavy book. Your shoulders slumped slightly, deciding that you were ultimately facing a defeat.
Loki then stepped away from your smaller figure, the book in his possession once more. He eyed your dejected expression before sighing to himself, his free hand came up to pinch the bridge of his nose.
“You know what? Fine,” He gave in, mumbling something you couldn’t understand under his breath. “Fine, you can borrow my dagger.”
A green light appeared at the palm of his hand, the blade of the dagger starting to develop from within the magic. Before you knew it, Loki was holding the handle of the weapon towards you.
A quick ‘thanks!’ tumbled through your lips before you ran away, ecstatic as can be.
All of that happened a couple of hours ago, now, here you were, inside your room – stabbing and slashing through nothing but the air. It would be an understatement to say you loved the dagger. Maybe you could ask Loki where he got the blade.
You huffed out a breath of air before using one of your feet to take a significant step backwards, twisting your body around and jutting out your arm to stab at the air in front of you.
Only this time Loki’s blade didn’t pierce through nothing.
Your eyes widened in shock at the sight in front of you. The weapon in your hand was buried hilt deep into someone’s stomach, with shaky hands you removed your grip from the handle and looked upwards.
Loki’s green eyes mirrored the same expression as yours. His hands came up to touch the dagger’s handle gingerly before his gaze flitted away from your face towards the wound on his stomach.
He then crumpled onto the floor with a thud.
The sound his fall created was enough to snap you out of your shocked daze. You scrambled to kneel beside his trembling form, one of your hands brushing the dark strands of his hair away from his face.
“Shit,” You cursed, panic engulfing your chest. “Fuck, Loki – I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to. I swear, I – fuck.”
Loki placed one of his hand near where the blade was buried deep, his eyes looking up to yours while he struggled to breathe. “I…I told you to – to be…careful with the…blade.” He managed to say between gasps of air.
“I told you to stop appearing out of nowhere in my room – why didn’t you just knock?!” You accused him amidst your panicked state. “Never mind that, I’m going to call the others.”
Just as you were about to stand up he grabbed onto your wrist. “No!” He bellowed, his hold on your wrist tightening. “Don’t.”
Though shaken by the intensity of his shout, you stared at him incredulously as though he’d grown two extra pair of heads. “What do you mean ‘no’? I can’t let you die!”
“I know...a remedy,” He informed you, loosening his grip when he saw that you were listening. “But it can only…work properly…if you’re willing to…participate.”
You managed to catch his words even though his breathing was starting to get more ragged by the second. You urged him to continue speaking while you made sure he wasn’t losing too much blood from this chit chat.
“Kiss me,” Loki simply stated.
Your gaze returned to his face, your eyes wide. “What?” You sputtered slightly, not believing what your ears had just heard from the handsome god laid in front of you. “Loki, this isn’t a joke!” You replied with slight irritation as you contemplated whether to just call others than listen to him. He has better chances of survival with Tony, Bruce, and Thor tending to him anyways.
“Oh, I’m being completely serious,” Offense was written all over Loki’s face. “How can you think that when I’m dying?” He scoffed faintly, his gaze unfaltering.
“That’s ridiculous.”
“Well,” Loki started, cocking one eyebrow upwards. “Have you ever kissed an Asgardian?” A sly smirk painted over his lips when you struggled to retort back, stumbling over your words while a blush crept up your face.
You opened your mouth but quickly stopped yourself, a knot formed on your forehead and you frowned at Loki. You observed his suddenly neutral state suspiciously, your eyes narrowing down into slits. “Wait a second, your breathing –”
Before you could say anymore, Loki suddenly sat up, his head missing yours by an inch. A yelp of surprise left you when he roughly pushed you down on the floor by your shoulders. He quickly climbed on top of your form, placing one of his forearms just at the top of your head and the other beside you to support himself.
You caught sight of Loki’s mischievous grin before he pressed his soft lips against yours. Your gasp was muffled in the kiss, snapping your eyes shut when you felt his lips start moving against your own. Your hands trailed up from your sides to his shoulders, until your arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer.
One of your hands danced on the nape of his neck, moving your hand towards his scalp to tangle itself in his long hair. You gave a sharp tug, earning a low growl from Loki. He bit on your lower lip in return.
Loki pulled away from your kiss, drinking in your moan as he ground his hips on yours. He peppered kisses along your neck, each touch of his lips felt hot against your skin. The two of you were breathing raggedly; you hadn’t even fully caught your breath when Loki captured your lips with his again – your noses bumping together in the heated kiss.
You were lost in passionate exchange until Loki dipped his body lower so his chest was almost flat against your own. Your eyes fluttered open, turning your head sideways to break the kiss. You were panting heavily as you removed your arms from around his neck to push him away.
“There’s no time for this, you’re hurt!” You exclaimed, alarmed at the fact that you couldn’t feel the handle of dagger even though his body was pressed tightly against yours.
Loki sighed irritably and rolled off your body. You sat up, scanning his figure, worry settling on the pit of your stomach – how could you get carried away by a single kiss? Halfway through cursing yourself inwardly, you paused.
What the –
“It’s gone…” You trailed off, the sight before you leaving you dumbfounded. The blood was gone and so was the wound, it was as if he hadn’t been stabbed at all.
Loki pushed himself up and leaned against his hand that was placed on the floor beside him. He flashed you a roguish grin, he moved his other hand in a downward motion right where the blade should’ve been sticking out. “Ta-da!”
You could only gape at him. “You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.”
He had tricked you into thinking he was dying when he was fully capable of healing himself. Why were you surprised? You expected nothing less coming from the God of Mischief himself.
But that didn’t change the fact that you wanted to punch him in the face.
You wrapped your fingers around the closest thing your hands could reach and flung it at him. A small ‘umph’ left his lips when the object landed square in the middle of his chest. Without sparing him a glance, you stood up and moved towards the door of your room.
Loki rubbed the spot where you had hit him and craned his neck to look you. “That actually hurt, (Y/n), I’m afraid this means you owe me another kiss.” He taunted, his eyes glinting mischievously.
You pulled the door open and glared daggers at him. “You’re an asshole.” You spat before walking through the doorway and slamming the door shut behind you.
“You can’t deny it, (Y/n)! You enjoyed yourself!”
You felt yourself flush red at his words, you wheeled yourself around to retort to him for the last time before speeding away. “Shut up!”
You knew it wouldn’t take long for him to find you. Curse him and his abilities.

Harry and Luna :)
I imagine they meet a lot (as friends xD) even when they’re adults. Hmmm, what do you think they’re talking about here?
