Just finished: This is another one that I don't know why it took me so long to read, especially since Lemire is one of my all-time favorites and I love Nguyen's Art. Everyone I know that's read it has loved it and it did not disappoint! I can't wait to pick up the second volume!

Just finished this: I don't know why it took me so long to read this, but I'm so glad I did! I know everyone knows this by now, but this graphic novel was great. It was so honest, but in a way that didn't feel overdone. I wish more graphic novels that this balance of emotion and smooth storytelling!

I don't doubt I'll have my chance to see hell one day, but I've no interest in admiring the view before my time.

Just Finished: Wonder Woman Volume 2: Guts Though I really liked the first trade and I read this one quickly, I still felt that this one fell a little flat. The storyline was just okay and I've been very disappointed that Chiang doesn't illustrate every issue. I'm still going to read 4-6, especially because I already own them! I hope the rest don't disappoint, since I love Azzerello and Chiang!

Just read this: The Fade Out Volume 3 I finished this a few days ago to complete the series. I have to say, I usually love this team, but I didn't love this series. I had a really hard time getting behind the main character's story and pain. Oh well, I still think they're great!

Just finished: East of West Volume 4 I love this comic so much. I just finished rereading all of the past trades leading to this one. I don't know why it took me so long to read this trade, but I'm glad I waited since the fifth trade just came out. This is definitely one of my favorite comics and I suggest that every comic lover needs to read this!

Just finished! Two Brothers by Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá: Since this book had so much hype, I love Moon and Bá, and I absolutely love the cover, I decided to buy it in one of my last purchases at Barnes and Noble before I left. A part of my understands the hype because the story is very powerful emotionally, but I honestly though it was good, not great. I found it confusing to keep track of which brother did what and it wasn't until halfway through the story, that I realized it was told from only one perspective. Only because it was so hyped, so I feel disappointed a little. Other than that, I felt it was a solid story for the standard graphic novel.

This week's pull! I've been trying to only buy cool variants and new number ones when I go into the shop now because I'm so deep into so many series. There were so many awesome new ones this week I really had to hold back and I still managed to pick up too many!

Just finished: Axe Cop: Volume 1 I had read the majority of this when it was first coming out online, but I never actually read the trade when I bought it. I decided to finally read it because my mom bought me the second for the holidays. It was great to revisit the older stories and I had never read the "ask Axe Cop" section, which may even be better than the stories. I will always love Axe Cop and I will always recommend it if you like a good laugh. Now I can't wait to read the second trade!

Just finished this!
As usual, Alan Moore is deep, unusual and very trippy. You can definitely tell that it’s heavily drug inspired. Despite this, I still always really enjoy it. There’s nothing like it and no one will ever be able to do it like him. There were some issues in it that I loved, but I didn’t love the overall story arch. I’m still very excited to read the next one. I have to see what happens to Abigail and what existential crisis Swamp Thing has next!

This cracks me up. My boyfriend and I have been watching Sherlock, which makes this even better. Gotta love Kate Beaton!
