I think in the relationship between Hannibal and Will, it's Will just constantly sending Hannibal pictures of everything and Hannibal finds it both endearing and exasperating. Like

Will is fishing, he sends Hannibal a picture of every fish. He names them. Hannibal by the third is like "why are you sending fish Will," but Will just sends one fish close up with "HE IS OUR SON."

Sends Hannibal special."good morning" pictures from every dog. Without fail, blurry dog faces, Hannibal is right next to him in bed and a dog comes over and Will goes "hold on" gets his phone and then Hannibal's phone buzzes and it's another dog pic. Hannibal just looks at Will who's just smiling with pure joy.

Will taking Hannibal's photo sitting across from him Hannibal gets it but it's got Instagram heart filters like "dreamy guy spotted," looks like it was sent by a teenager and Hannibal makes it his lockscreen.

Alright, I need to have a chat with the teenagers that follow me, specifically regarding lying about your age and nsfw content. This isn’t directed at anyone, but I think it’s a convo that needs to be had in general.

I was a teenager once. I get it. Everyone lies about their age online. Maybe not to other people, but I’m sure every minor has clicked a ‘yeah, sure, I’m 18+” button at some point in their lives. I’m not here to shame you for that.

What I am here to say is it is vital that teenagers understand the difference between engaging in sexual content independently (ie, entering a fake birthday to access 18+ content), and lying about your age to engage in sexual activities with others online (joining discord servers/using nsfw channels intended for adults only/lying about your age to talk to nsfw content creators/commissioning nsfw art/etc).

Lying about your age to a website so you can look at porn is one thing. It’s an entirely independent experience, where the only consent that really matters is yours. Nobody has any power over you in this situation, and there’s about no chance of legal consequences.

However, lying about your age to other human beings is extremely different. If you’re engaging in nsfw roleplay with a friend about the same age as you, talking about sex with other teenagers, sharing nsfw fics among friends, that’s one thing. But do not lie about your age to engage in sexual activities/discussions. Not only is something that could have actual legal ramifications, and very serious ones depending on what’ going on, but it’s a violation of the other people’s consent. The moment other real people are involved, you need to be respectful of their boundaries & what is and isn’t appropriate for you to be engaging with. If they say no minors, I don’t care if you’re 17.5, you stay out until you are 18 years old.

Examples of situations where it is never okay to lie or mislead anyone about your age online include:

Joining/accessing nsfw channels or servers on discord.

Yes, I know it’s very easy to just click that little red button on discord that lets you access the channel you’re so curious about. It looks just like the one you see on adult websites that you click without thinking.

Don’t do it.

If channels are 18+ then you stay out of them. There are other real life human beings involved who did not give consent to have a minor in an adult orientated space.

Engaging with nsfw creators/content directly

ie, commissioning nsfw artwork, following or talking to nsfw creators who’ve asked for no interactions from minors/flagged their accounts as 18+ only, subscribing to nsfw creators on patron, nsfw roleplay, etc.

Joining/engaging with adult only communities, like Fetlife or cam sites.

Engaging in romantic and/or sexual online relationships

Any time you are talking with one or more other real human beings, particularly any adults, in a sexual context.

I know that adult websites have basically trained teenagers to just say they’re 18 and move on, but it is vital that teenagers understand that it is never okay to lie about your age when directly engaging in any kind of sexual activity. Knowing people’s age is a vital part of consent, and if an adult is found to have been engaging in sexual activity with a minor, they could face life long legal consequences. Not only that, but a basic facet of consent is clear, honest communication. If you are lying to a partner, then you do not have consent. Lying about your age is a huge violation of consent.

That’s not to say you can never mention sex around adults online. There are times and places where you may be asking for advice, or even just making jokes about sex or whatever. That’s all well and good, so long as everyone is on the same page. It’s on adults to make sure that we are behaving appropriately around minors online, and make sure that we’re setting boundaries in those relationships. But it’s on minors to communicate that they are minors, and respect those boundaries that are set.

So, tl;dr,

Lying about your age to access a porn site is fine. Lying about your age to engage in sexual situations/adult-only spaces where other real human beings are involved is not.

So I have a theory on how Izuku from @cyber-phobia’s Manic Hero Deku AU ended up meeting Toshinori and ultimately becoming his successor:

-Toshinori and Izuku meet in a police station when the former brings in a villain in his skinny form and sees a kid sitting at the interrogation table and being spectacularly unhelpful in answering questions

-No name, no quirk that anyone saw used, no admitted family, just snarky commentary and surprisingly sharp analysis of everyone’s quirks; Toshi thinks the kid is reckless and a troublemaker with a smart mouth

-Izuku ends up spending the night in ‘juvie’ (IDK and IDC if Japan has that this is for the sake of plot), but he technically wasn’t using a quirk or seeking out a fight so he technically needs to be let go, though with a reprimand for, well, recklessness and troubleseeking

-The two meet a few more times, generally either when Toshi is coming in with a villain and the kid’s in his cell or when Izuku’s just being dragged in by like Aizawa or another underground hero or even a police officer

-They do try to get him to stop vigilanting because he’s a kid and he’s going to get killed, but he refuses, and Toshi has to wonder what sort of people are looking after him that they don’t notice or care their kid is getting hurt like this

-One time he’s pretty badly injured, and that’s when they realize the kid’s undernourished and scarred up a lot with untreated and poorly healed wounds, which raises questions into his home life

-The doctor’s trip and blood testing reveal his full name and the fact that he’s quirkless, which changes…. A lot of views on the kid’s actions and mindset.

-Turns out he’s a runaway because of stress from bullying + a tight home budget that pressured his mom into cutting back on stuff besides bare necessities and stressed her a lot, ergo he thought if he left then she’d be able to look after herself more

-his mom is overseas with his father now, since the police hadn’t bothered to try and look for him since he was quirkless, so he has no one looking after him and survives off of dumpster scraps and shady (but not illicit) jobs

-they realize the suspicion and recklessness is from being a quirkless street kid trying to survive without being an outright thief or criminal. The times he gets ‘caught’ and has to stay at the station are his most regular and filling meals, and Toshi is lowkey horrified

-So Toshi might or might not get the kid food anytime he sees him from there on out, even if Izuku is super susp of the guy who used to scoff and judge him, and there’s some guilt and wanting to help out more

-But he’s All Might, and he can’t have a kid living with him if he wants to keep his secret, plus he doesn’t know how to look after a kid, so he can’t do anything but hope another hero or officer can take him in, since an orphanage or foster home probably won’t take him (again, quirkless)

-And like, they try to get him off the streets but Izuku tends to flee in the night or just vanish, and like he barely tolerates the nights in the cells because of the food, but he seems to be at least somewhat warmer to Toshi as time passes thanks to the food and new clothes and other small gestures Toshi’s been doing.

-Then comes an underground raid on a quirk trade ring, with All Might involved because of several suspected powerful ringleaders + it’s kids, he always has a soft spot for saving kids

-The raid is spoiled because of a leak or a quirk catching them or something, because there’s suddenly a lot of activity and it seems like one of the villains is about to start killing the ‘evidence’

-All Might smashes in and creates panic and a distraction for the other heroes to try and start rescuing the kids while he handles the big guns that come after him

-Izuku shows up in the middle of things and ends up starting to fight like a manic beast, like no regard for his life whatsoever, and he ends up saving a hero who might have otherwise been killed

-And All Might is worried as hell but is handling the big guy and can’t help him, but does stop his opponent and brings him down in time to realize the other big bad is missing, along with Izuku

-He tracks them both down in time to see Izuku stab the other powerful ringleader through the throat with a knife, blood splattered across his face and hands as the body slumps, and for just a moment All Might thinks he’s seeing a slide into villainy

-But then he sees the little kids Izuku had been protecting, huddled together like they’d been tossed to the side hastily.

-The man had no doubt been planning to use the chaos to sneak out with several of the kids, but Izuku had seen and stopped him

-And he watches as Izuku turns to the kids, something in his body language shifting as he crouches down

-And the kids tear up and latch onto the older boy tightly, with just a touch of relief to Izuku’s own almost-smile as he returns the hugs

-And All Might knows

-This is his successor

-(Now to hope the kid agrees to it… along with a roof over his head)
