Where has Reet been these past couple of years? Jensen has been using journalists to keep his career going since he knew SPN was ending. Do they think any of the press he gets is organic? It’s because he spent years garnering goodwill with certain people and publications and is now cashing in on those relationships to keep himself relevant. It’s part of being in the industry, and making connections with the right people seems to be one of Jensen’s strengths. If any other actor in the same tier as him played Soldier Boy they wouldn’t have gotten the same press. Same for his characters on Big Sky and Tracker. And let’s not forgot about the promo/press run for TW.
