Merry Christmas Lads: Hyundai to Launch the New Updated Verna in 2015
The spirits of those planning to own a Hyundai car next year must be down after the company announced a price hike of upto Rs 25000. However, the buck doesn’t just stop there. Well, the global automobile giant has a lot in store for car enthusiasts across the country. Hyundai will launch the uplifted Verna in the first quarter of 2015 further adding another performance centric automotive marvel into its Indian arsenal of cars.
There have been speculations in the market that Solaris will be the replacement of Verna. Further proving these speculations wrong, sources in the company have revealed that Solaris is a much bigger car than Verna and it will be launched at a later on.
The new uplifted Hyundai Verna would come with newly designed bumpers and will also have a new hexagonal grille. Not only this, it would also feature a touchscreen infotainment system which will be introduced for the first time.
The Korean car makers are desperate to surpass its competitors by improving on its existing models. The new improvements made in Verna speak volumes of the quality centric strategy that the company will stick onto to woo its customers in India.

Hyundai building i20 Coupe in grand style
Hyundai stunned the crowd lately with its new form of design innovation visible on Elite i20; it is a bigger and more spacious variant of the popular i20 car. The company just strives to be more and more creative and has now emerged with a coupe version of Elite i20, which in some markets is referred to as second gen i20.
Hyundai i20 Coupe
The i20 Coupe is a three door car and will be sold in European markets in 2015, and for some interesting piece of information, this is Hyundai’s first attempt to develop a three door i20 Coupe model from the trendy five door Elite i20 car. Hyundai is admired for its creative range of hatchbacks, visible on i10, Grand i10, Eon and Elite i20. The three door i20 Coupe is imaginatively designed, and by the look of it, it is certainly mesmerizing.
Now the main topic of interest is the possibility of Hyundai launching the three door i20 Coupe in India, and sources say that it is unlikely to happen, because of the limited market exposure of three door hatchbacks in India. The i20 Coupe is an innovative creation out of Elite i20, and what about the marked distinctions between the two vehicles, the 5 door i20 hatchback has sportier from bumper and is fitted with a bigger hexagonal grille. It has 17 inch alloy wheels that have broader wheel arches.
The interiors of i20 Coupe is as distinctively fascinating as the exteriors, and customers can dwell into layers of sportiness contributed by the generous orange piping, which is a new Tangerine orange shade.  Hyundai has not modified the mechanical properties of the car and will move on the same engine formula as Elite i20. It is fitted with a robust 1.25 liter petrol engine that yields spark energies of 122Nm and 84PS, and the diesel model is inserted with an advanced 1.1 liter mill that yields 180Nm and 75PS and also a 1.4 liter engine that generates 240Nm and 90PS. The 1.4 liter petrol vehicle is linked to six speed manual and four speed automatic transmission and the 1.25 liter engine is coupled with five speed manual gearbox. According to reports Hyundai is likely to launch a 1.0 liter petrol coupe in 2015.
Coupe cars are always fascinating, and Hyundai will surely fascinate the public to the core with the launch of i20 Coupe. It is an advanced architecture creation of Elite i20 and looks amazingly trendy. It is has the potential to be a fantastic global product, the company has captivated the Indian crowd with Elite i20, it is an instant blockbuster success, and a Coupe version of the car will certainly exhilarate the public, but its arrival into the country is not certain.
It will be interesting to view the potential of i20 Coupe in Europe and other favorable launch destinations. The globe is facing the harsh impact of recession and the sale of i20 Coupe is a perfect medium to increase profit value. Let’s hope that news of Indian launch is certain.

New Post has been published on http://www.hyundaicarsindia.in/2014/12/household-brand-name-hyundai-santro-bids-adieu-to-india.html
Household brand name Hyundai Santro Bids adieu to India
South Korean car major Hyundai Motor started its career in India with its Santro hatchback, back in 1998. The compact lively car from Hyundai has been a blockbuster ever since the initial launch days. In fact Santro is the car model which actually made Hyundai a household brand name in India. Even after 16 long years of market existence in India the Hyundai Santro has not lost its charm and continues to get good sales volumes for its maker.
However, Hyundai is a company which believes in constant evolution and new products in keeping with the changing times and changing preferences. Thus, Hyundai India thinks that the Santro should be given a graceful farewell even if it is still very popular.  So, the peppy and capable Hyundai Santro Xing will be bidding adieu to India and take its leave leaving behind space for more new Hyundai models to come. Marking the end of this beloved model will also let Hyundai concentrate on the increased production capacity for its other newer products.
The Santro Xing became a very popular product in the earlier days of its market existence and even its TV commercials featuring Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan became highly popular among the audience. It was with the Santro that that the film star became associated with Hyundai becoming the company’s brand ambassador later endorsing the i10 and recently the Xcent. The Santro Xing is a car that the Indian mass market is very familiar with and very fond of.
The Santro can be termed as Hyundai’s old star and means to it as much as the Maruti 800 means for Maruti Suzuki. Like the Maruti 800, the Santro is also the most memorable identity of its maker. Thus, the Santro or the Santro Xing will continue to be the most popular and loved product from Hyundai in India. As a result, though the South Korean maker has chosen to mark the end of the production of the Santro, the existing Santro owners in the country will continue to get easy access to its parts as well as service supports from Hyundai India across the country.
In the 16 long years of its Indian presence, the Hyundai Santro first received got a major overhaul back in the year 2003. It was back then when the very successful Santro came along with the suffix of the Xing. While the first generation Santro model was equipped with a 1 liter petrol mill under its hood, the newer Hyundai Santro Xing also came along with a new more powerful engine apart from refreshed design. The compact hatchback got its power from the new 1.1 liter, 3-cylinder petrol motor that is capable of producing the max power output of 62 bhp.
As Hyundai Motor continues its journey in India bringing in many new and innovative products, its older models will get buried in the time of dust. However, the Santro is expected to remain a staple name in the country which actually brought Hyundai its fame.

Hyundai confirms 2015 launch for ix25 and Elite i20 Cross from the established 99.8% manufacturing power of Chennai unit
Hyundai has for years bonded well with the public, and there is a vehicle for every section of economic society and the firm has invested in a multitude of genres such as hatchbacks, sedans, compact sedans and sport utility vehicles. In the year 2014 under the constrained economy circumstances, the company made a record of rolling out over 400,000 units in domestic segment.
Hyundai ix25 Production model image
The company has a vast manufacturing unit in Chennai, and an overload of vehicles is generated, with an enormous capacity of 680,000 units. The development output of Hyundai is said to be the biggest in India, and its operation capacity each year is a magnificent 99.8%. Hyundai’s profit position in the Indian market is pretty robust; to fight the weakened market economy and increased competition, the firm has to engage in effective future planning.
The auto market has suffered a downturn for over two years; there has been insufficient domestic demand, and with minimal profits moving on home soil, it is difficult to export bulk vehicles. Hyundai India has decided to focus on localization; it halted its export strategy completely from the beginning of 2014, and stopped the export procedure of its popular i20 car.
There are some amazing upcoming Hyundai cars to watch out for like Elite i20 Cross and ix25 compact SUV, and there is a Verna facelift launch as well. Hyundai has confirmed of the time of arrival of Elite i20 Cross and ix25 compact SUV which is in 2015. The arrival of the cars will intensify the steaming competition of the compact SUV and cross market. The most sought after rivals of ix25 are Nissan Terrano, Mahindra Scorpio and Renault Duster. It is a sub four car and will cost Rs 8 to 12 lakh. The i20 is a cross version of Elite i20 and its arch rivals are Fiat Avventura, Toyota Etios Cross and Volkswagen Cross Polo, and the price range is Rs 5.5 to 8.5 lakhs. The vehicles will be sold with diesel and petrol fuels and will be linked to automatic and manual transmission gearboxes.
Sources say, Hyundai is not likely to emphasize on export any time soon, not even after the launch of ix25 and Elite i20 Cross. Going by the fragile macro-economy, the need of the hour would be to focus on domestic market, and it is also known that the firm is establishing a new unit in Gujarat.
Hyundai has built a sustainable auto unit, and its manufacturing output has always been exemplary. Its Chennai factory is running on a full-fledged scale of operation, and more so recently post the launch of i10 Grand, new Santa Fe, Elite i20 and Xcent compact sedan. The three cars have worked wonders for the company in a short interval, and now the addition of ix25, new Verna and Elite i20 Cross will yield greater market shares.
The year 2015 is going to be a fun one for ardent Hyundai fans, and it will be delightful to drive the ix25 and Elite i20 Cross.

New Post has been published on Hyundai Cars India
New Post has been published on http://www.hyundaicarsindia.in/2014/12/elite-i20-cross-will-be-engineered-with-superior-ground-clearance.html
Elite i20 Cross will be engineered with superior ground clearance
Hyundai few months ago surprised the crowd with an Elite i20 launch, which is a bigger and more spacious variant of the popular i20 car. It is an instant best seller, within just few months post launch from August 2014 till now, the company has received more than 56,000 bookings.
Hyundai i20 Crossover
The company is now developing a cross variant of the car called Elite i20 Cross, the vehicle is currently in the development stage, and an improved feature of the car from Elite i20 is the improved ground clearance. The recent developments of the car include body cladding to highlight its cross nature, roof rack and aggressive looking back and front bumpers.
The most interesting development of Elite i20 Cross is the enhanced ground clearance, the vehicle will have the power to tackle any challenging terrain that comes in front of it with greater ease than Elite i20. It will be an amazing adventure to drive the jagged looking Elite i20 Cross on off-country roads and also through narrow camping terrains and slush. The car will also have a refreshed braking and larger front disc calipers from Elite i20.
Hyundai has decided to retain the mechanical properties of the car, like Elite i20, Elite i20 crossover will maneuver on an efficient 1.2 liter petrol engine fitted with four cylinders, it emits fierce energies of 114.7Nm torque and 83PS power and both values are in the maximum range. The power is coupled with five speed manual gearbox. The other engine is the 1.4 liter CRDI four cylinder diesel power train that churns peak torque and power energies of 220Nm and 90PS and is linked to six speed manual transmission system.
The automobile industry in India has become a highly competitive sector, and the competition has heated up like never before, mainly caused by the economic downturn. To beat the competition heat, so many launches have happened in 2014, and like the hatchback, sedan, sport utility vehicle and multipurpose vehicle market, the cross segment has become an intensely competitive sector.
Elite i20 Cross is engineered with the power to conquer the cross market, it’s built with a superior ground clearance capacity than Elite i20, which makes it all the more rebellious to its competition. It also has a better braking and front disc caliper system to the donor vehicle, and its arch rivals are Fiat Avventura, Toyota Etios Cross and Volkswagen Cross Polo, it is priced at Rs 6.5 to 8 lakhs and the expected arrival period is 2015.
Car enthusiasts will certainly enjoy Cross cars, because it is creatively different from other genres. Elite i20 Cross was captured several times by passer by’s, and there is still a lot more information to discover, the vehicle was spotted in a camouflaged state. With the Elite i20 doing so well at an instantly swift pace, image the customer attraction impact of the cross car? It will be interesting to observe the rivalry power of the car with its contenders, particularly Fiat Avventura. Let’s wait for some captivating information about the car.

A look at Hyundai India’s planned upcoming launches
South Korean car major, Hyundai Motor is a much preferred company in India and is the second largest car maker here. Hyundai Motor India is having a great time recently, as both its new car launches this year have been great hits. The Hyundai Xcent and the all new Hyundai Elite i20 have both tasted instant success in 2014. Now Hyundai India is bracing up for a slew of car launches ahead.
Here’s a look at some of the upcoming cars from Hyundai that will arrive in India in the near future.
Hyundai i20 Crossover
Hyundai i20 based crossover
Soon after launching the all new Elite i20, Hyundai has started testing a crossover model based on the new premium hatchback. It is expected to be called the i20 Cross and has been spotted both abroad and in India.
The upcoming i20 Cross is going to be very similar to the Elite i20 premium hatch and is going to share everything from the platform, to features to engine range. However, it will get an individual crossover look complete with full body cladding, bigger alloy wheels, flared wheels arches and probably roof rails and other such features. The crossover is also expected to get plusher and even more feature-rich interior.
It is expected to launch in early 2015 and is going to rival the likes of Toyota Etios Cross, Volkswagen Cross Polo and Fiat Avventura.
Hyundai ix25 SUV
The Hyundai ix25 SUV concept was first unveiled at this year’s Beijing Motor Show and then its production version was displayed recently at the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show,
The upcoming Hyundai ix25 is going to be a very important India launch. The sub-compact SUV gets design cues from the new Santa Fe premium SUV. It measures over 4 meters of length. For India, it could be powered by a 1.4 liter VTVT and a 1.6 liter CRDi diesel motor.
The Hyundai ix25 is expected to launch in India in the second half next year and will rival the likes of Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, Mahindra Scorpio and Ford EcoSport.
New refreshed Hyundai Verna sedan
The Hyundai Verna had been a C-segment leader in India for long before the arrival of the new Honda City. The stunning and capable Verna is still a great selling mid-sized sedan, but now the market competition is more intense with the launch of the new Maruti Ciaz. This makes the launch of the new updated Verna an essential requirement for the company. The new facelift Verna is already available in Russia where it is called the Solaris.

The enriching ownership encounter of used Santa Fe
Hyundai an established South Korean based firm is a pioneer in advanced car design technology. The company has incorporated exclusivity into every segment visible on i10 Grand, i10, Elite i20 and i20 hatchbacks, Verna, Elantra and Sonata sedans and Santa Fe SUV.
Hyundai Santa Fe
The posh Santa Fe is the most desirable gift for zealous SUV fans, for years the car has been an instant blockbuster, for those keen on the car, the used car market of the vehicle is flourishing and let’s browse through the ownership experiences of people who have purchased the car between the periods of 2006 to 2011.
Don Bate purchased a 2009 Santa Fe SLX diesel car in the year 2011; it was a used car that had manoeuvred through 25,000km. Bate was able to cover significant distances with the car, at present he managed to drive through 72,000 km, and he has even used it for towing purposes and managed to grip a load of 1750kg, and calls Santa Fe to be an admirable towing model on highways. The only concern was the considerably frequent replacement of clutch which had to be done every 40,000km.He enjoyed every bit of his time with Santa Fe, and is now keen to buy a new automatic model.
In 2006, Steve Viertel procured a 2006 diesel Santa Fe SX car, and is thoroughly happy with it, and terms it to be the most powerful and convenient vehicle he has ever had. The used car scaled through a distance of 140,000 km, and the car displayed no signs of vibrations or squeaky noises and the nature of paint is as glossy as any newly built car in the market. Steve says the car is high on mileage power and engine movement and is also versatile and powerful, and the extent of exterior rigidity is world class.
Steve was not too satisfied with the working of air- con compressor, it become non-functional after 6 years. He replaced it with a more reasonable component and since then there has been no issues. The brakes were refitted as well after the vehicle covered about 136,000km. He is incredibly with his Santa Fe and wants to drive it for another five years or cover a distance of 100,000km.
Doug Foggon obtained a 2.2 litre diesel MY8.5 SLX Santa Fe; he purchased it for towing purposes and wanted to carry it in his caravan while venturing on mega family excursions in Australia. Till now he managed to cover more than 60,000 km, and majority of the energy was employed for towing purposes, he had the strength to transport a two tonne van. The main problem was the efficiency of turbo hose clamps, and is now replaced with drive clamps. To facilitate effective towing, he fitted the car with more power rear springs and air bags.
Santa Fe is one SUV that is highly appreciated by the public; the second gen car is an improvement over the first gen model. It looks awe-inspiring at first sight and has driven the public crazy, it portrays a remarkable sparkling shine, and the improved traits were increased height, width and length dimension, the wheelbase measurement is lengthier and the cabin room and quality of materials is more enriched.

New Post has been published on http://www.hyundaicarsindia.in/2014/12/the-new-hyundai-passocorto-concept-features-a-striking-alien-look.html
The new Hyundai PassoCorto concept features a striking alien look
The global auto world is filled with fascinating, mesmerizing and shocking concept models, all of which shout to draw your attention for the better or for the worse. The Italian designers do a good job at producing some of the most stunning automotive designs in the world. Some would argue that the Japanese auto designers are even better with their designs and concepts. However, when it comes to some jaw dropping concept models rising straight out of the fantasy world, the Latin designers simply do great as well.
Hyundai Passocorto Concept
This year’s Essen Motor Show presented one such car concept that can be termed as truly out of this world; out of this planet that is. On the whole, this concept has a quirky yet aggressive stance of a highly stylized and futuristic sports car. However, its rear styling is too farfetched that makes it look like a complete alien (or the face of an extra terrestrial being). Well, this quirky looking concept car flaunts Hyundai logo, but don’t be mistaken, as it isn’t a work of the Korean designers. This alien looking concept car is called the Hyundai PassoCorto.
The Hyundai PassoCorto was first displayed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show that was held in March. The Hyundai PassoCorto is the creation of automotive design students. The concept was the result of the imagination and hard work of 16 students of an Automotive Design Masters Degree course conducted by Carozzeria Pininfarina’s head designer, Luca Borgogno. All the students submitted their auto designs at the course and finally two of them were selected as best designs of the lot. These two were combined in the ration of 70:30 to create something very unique, the PassoCorto concept. Well, it can be said pretty wickedly unique actually, but probably that is why these two designs were selected.
As for the Hyundai badge on the concept car, the design was of course selected by the South Korean car major Hyundai as a study concept and was subsequently also sponsored by the company’s European Design Center to help Luca Borgogno and his team of young automotive design apprentices to bring the concept model alive to be showcased at the various auto shows of the world. Hyundai actually prompted the design team to make something innovative and creative with a straight cut briefing that the car should be targeted at young people. Well the design certainly seems to have enough weirdness about it to get the attention of the young audience.
The Hyundai PassoCorto is equipped with a 1.6 liter twin-turbocharged rear-mid mounted engine that has the capacity to generate 270hp, which is not really much of power, but it makes for a great weight/power ratio with the 840 kg car.
While the car has pretty nicely designed front and sides, the rear is a totally different story. The rear seems to feature the big eyes and a huge red lipped mouth of an alien, along with some duct tapes on them? Well, hope the alien loving young lot loves it.

The Hyundai Elite i20 crossover gets rendered
It is a known fact that following the massive response to the new Elite i20, Hyundai is working on a new ‘crossover’ variant based on the Elite i20 to crack into the crossover segment of India. The Elite i20 based crossover has already started testing on the Indian roads and the test prototypes have also been spotted many times. Many tough crossover features of the Elite i20 based crossover have also been spotted several times including side body molding, projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, skid plates, roof rails and new petal-shaped alloy wheels.

Taking in account the various spotted new features and the overall design language of the Elite i20 premium hatchback, rendering artists have posted a rendered image of the new upcoming Hyundai Elite i20 Cross in order to offer a closer look at the new crossover from the house of Hyundai.
The South Korean car major is expected to launch the Elite i20 based crossover as early as this year end or by early next year. The Elite i20 Cross will also be in keeping with the company’s strategy to improve its market presence by venturing into a new car segment each year in the coming years, where the company does not yet have any representatives.
The upcoming new Hyundai Elite i20 based crossover will hit the Indian car market to join the race of the growing hatchback turned crossover segment in the country. Apart from rivaling with the other crossovers in the country, the Elite i20 Cross will primarily be fighting with the likes of the Toyota Etios Cross, Volkswagen Cross Polo ad the newly launched Fiat Avventura, as all these crossovers are also based on their hatchback counterparts.
Being based on the really able premium hatchback, the Elite i20, the upcoming Hyundai Elite i20 Cross will offer the great features that the hatchback offers such as great styling, superb feature list, comfortable interiors and good build quality. The vehicle will get added rugged styling and some more features to add to its rough road capabilities, and it should also be a great value for money car, as Hyundai should be able to attractively price the vehicle having saved on its production costs.
The upcoming Hyundai Elite i20 Cross should also be the choice for those car buyers who like the hatchback’s comfort but wish to get some SUV features in their vehicles as well without switching over to a full-fledged SUV. Hyundai will also launch its ix25 compact SUV next year in order to enter the much popular compact SUV segment of India and fight with the likes of the popular Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano.
The Upcoming Hyundai Elite i20 based crossover is expected to get powered by the same 1.2 liter petrol motor and 1.4 liter diesel mill that power the Elite i20. The petrol mill delivers 83 PS of max power and 114.7 Nm of peak torque and gets a standard 5 speed manual gearbox, while the diesel motor generates 90 PS and 220 Nm and is mated to a 6 speed manual transmission.

New Post has been published on http://www.hyundaicarsindia.in/2014/11/watch-the-captivating-video-of-uncovered-2015-verna.html
Watch the captivating video of uncovered 2015 Verna
The Verna is a luxury sedan that is unbeatable and desirable; Hyundai captured the ambitious mass with the car. It is covered with the company’s signature Fluidic design technology, the firm is now working on a 2015 facelift model, called Solaris in Russian markets.
New Hyundai Verna
The car was captured several times by car enthusiasts in disguised state, and now images of the uncovered piece are uploaded on the web, which according to reports is strikingly similar to the Russian spec car. The new 2015 facelift has interesting details to look forward to; the car will have refreshed projector headlight, along with restructured bumper, tail lights, and two slat grille. The back bumpers will be fitted with integrated reflector.
The 2015 Verna facelift will launch with a battery load of engine power, there are petrol and diesel options to choose from. The likely engine capacity of the petrol car is 1.4 litres and the diesel vehicle is expected to move on 1.6 litre power train. The 1.4 litre engine will yield 224Nm and 89hp and the 1.6 litre car will generate 259Nm and 126hp.
News of a 2015 Verna facelift launch is exhilarating beyond words, because of the mere enviable nature of the car. The vehicle is now completely undisguised, which means a close journey to the launch date. For those who can’t wait to have a close up view of the car, a video of the model is uploaded on the web. It is a short video that captures the front and rear of the car, the interiors are not revealed and expected to be similar to its predecessor.
It is an interesting video, viewers can get a magnifying view of the front and rear, and a captivating one to get a full-fledged view of the unique recipe of 2015 Verna facelift that is magnificently striking to the eye. Images of the car are on the web, and the professionalism is highlighted on the nature of grille and headlights, and the tail lights are moulded into arty rectangular structures.
The 2015 Hyundai Verna will hit markets by early 2015, and its fiercest rivals are Maruti Ciaz and all new Honda City. The expected arrival period is 2015, Hyundai has won great acclaim with Verna, it is a car desired to the core, but its presence has not been on par with initial popularity because of the enhancement of product range that has elevated competition levels.
The value of Hyundai Verna weakened with the arrival of all new City, new Corolla Altis and Maruti Ciaz. The destabilized auto market has enhanced the competition spirit, the Indian auto market passed through a rough phase for two continuous years, although market conditions have improved, it is still a long journey through the attainment of stabilization.
For those keen on 2015 Verna facelift, it is a worthy purchase to dwell into a whole new Verna covered in a greater architecture. It’s got a greater punch sufficient to diminish the existing popularity of Maruti Ciaz and all new City.
