Disclaimer: my hatred of geologists is purely theatrical, but if I did have to kill one for some reason, it would be very easy.

I’d brandish my obsidian knife at them and they’d be compelled to approach. “That’s very cool,” they’d say, confident in their superior strength and endurance from all the rocks they carry around at all times. They’d shower me with very interesting facts about obsidian and hover just out of range of the cutting edge, waiting for me to exhaust myself. “But as it is volcanic glass, it’s very fragile, you see, and isn’t well-suited for use as a weap—” and then I’d hit them with the wooden baseball bat in my other hand, which they would not have noticed because geologists can only see rocks and minerals.

Pkmn Champion Minecraft HC's (Part 1)

important notes: - this is going off of vanilla minecraft 1.21 (trial chamber update)! - minecraft mobs that are based on real animals in our world (pigs, sheep, chicken, cow, fish) are fictional creatures based on pokemon in the pkmn world! fantasy mobs (blaze, enderman, sniffer, drowned, guardian, creeper) are just more fictional creatures. - the champions have a private minecraft server together, though they are usually very busy and are almost never on at the same time. except for the off-season for each region's league or the annual in-person champion get-together they do. they reset the server every 2-ish years.

Lance || Awkward Builder * He never had a chance to play video games growing up, so was only recently introduced to the game by his fellow champions. has since grown to adore it! * Is very awkward about playing the game in his free time, doesn't want anyone to know that the Great Dragon Master is playing a silly block game. * Is one of the main builders on the server actually! he's never been an artsy person but found that he enjoys creating structures that breathe life into the server, filling otherwise empty spaces. * Lance doesn't do mega builds since he never would have time to finish them, but has done a few long-term projects over the course of the different seasons. one such project was when he built houses in the traditional style of each city in johto and later did the same for kanto. * Enjoys playing at a casual pace, not too fast but not too slow either. usually starts building before he's all geared up even. will sometimes go back to those early builds later on a spruce them up with fancier materials if he has time.

Steven || Redstone Guy * One might think Steven would be all about mining in the game titled minecraft... but he actually despises gathering resources! what makes going caving fun for him in the real world is the sense of discovery, of wonder, of working hard to carefully dislodge a rare stone he's been looking for. Caves in minecraft feel way too unrealistic for his tastes and he just can't find the same joy in partaking in his hobby in a video game compared to the joy of doing such in the real world. * also, he's terrified of creepers-- thinks they are the worst with their destructive abilities. he often finds himself wishing he could have his pokemon team in the game so they could deal with the hostile mobs for him. * Steven most often finds himself making creative redstone projects, games or challenges for his fellow champions to partake in whenever they have the time to log onto the server. * He's not an // expert // with redstone, but he understands comparators so he's doing better than most of the playerbase! enjoys improving his skills by making his own designs for farms, challenging himself to make it as efficient as possible. * plays at a pretty slow pace in the early game, taking the time to explore the world and stuff before picking a spot 14k blocks out to build his underground lair. the project he always does first thing once he's fully geared up is make a bunch of puzzles and clues to lead those who wish to find his base on a wild goose chase around the server. Cynthia was so good at this game, finding his base within a week of him opening the puzzle course that Steven banned her from the the challenge.

wifi was down, things were looking dim 😔 i go down to try to figure out what's wrong since my tech father is at work 🫠 everything are a mess, the thingy ma bob that is that blesses us with wifi is the definition of "redstone, i cannot understand thee" 😭 my phone flashlight is on, i'm looking around, trying to see if anything got unplugged-- THEN, a call from the Tech Father 🤯 he gives me vague instructions, which i try my best to comprehend … and nothing happens. no magical fix. 😠 he has to get back on a work call, things look even worse than before! 😢 but THEN, he texts me 3 mintues later… "so i actually got the instructions mixed up, try [this]" "really??!" 😒 my sister attempts the new fix. nothing happens. she tries again… nothing happens 🙃 with many fails, i fear there is no wifi in our future… 😣 i step up to the magic box thing with a million switches … "okay he said to flip it left and THEN right" eyebrows are furrowed in concentration 😟 i do the thing, run over to see if the wifi indicator screen thingy shows power yet… …. AND IT"S ON! the wifi is back, the off day is saved, me and my sister can be glued to our screens in peace 😌

tl;dr -- i turned the wifi back on 🎊

how exactly does school work in pokemon? 🤔 'cause i headcannon that in the anime at least continually traveling trainers like ash do online school or smth. but then there's the actual schools in-game and in-anime,.. and AHGH it hurts to think about. anygays this is such a pretty piece and i went on a rant about it in the tags <33

them being weird uncles is such an amazing way to describe their characters.., touched starved lance is so sad but i def see it, and steven would 100% buy that man the entire world if he asked.

oh and if the anon who asked this originally somehow were to stumble upon this reblog with the link to said 2 million word fic (if published) i would quite literally kill for the chance to read it !!!

Lmao, ah Lance and Steven, the red and blue, opposite personalities ship. I imagine they'd get along like a house on fire. Honestly if this fic wasn't nearly 2,000,000 words long, (yes I wrote that right) I'd tell you all about the Lance-Steven interactions but 😔 they're not even the main focus, so much to comb through. And I'm incapable of writing romance, I just have them standing over to the side together while Leaf and May chat 🤝 got beat by kid, suddenly a weird uncle to those kids.

OMG this is so amazing :0000 the bright burning colors, the crowded but advertisement full city view. it has so much life, feels so active yet so calm at the same time??! like there's so much going on, but it's typical. it's the norm, it's something to appreciate about the city!

the berries are a cute detail-- the blue one being oran berries ofc, yellow sitrus and the last one, the pink being mago!! chef's kiss, quite literally!

wow!! everything is so precise and detailed, especially looking at the beldum compared to your 2018 versions !!! (i may be biased towards the lil metal guys though since steven stone exists ^^')

also there looks to be a lot of very fragile parts :OO i can't bake, i can barely cook even, but that stands out to me! do you use molds? i mean, i'd assume so but again, no treat making experience xD
