I've been rethinking about Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated because that show is amazing. And I've realized that Ricky's character arc isn't talked about nearly enough.

Ricky has the biggest change. He starts as someone giving hints to help them out, and then it slowly becomes evident hes using them and then trying to steal their pieces and destroy them...

Which he was doing to protect them from Pericles, who will smooth talk them and crush them far worse than Mr. E ever could.

And then he works with Pericles to find the treasure before hating how Pericles is destroying everything where he is tortured into being a puppet and his closest/only/girl friend Cassidy is killed. And then he's just arguing against the villains and refusing to commit murder, but still being a complacent pushover until the final episode. He even comments on this when Marcie dies, how She expected more from him, and he did too.

Once it all goes down, he runs away and hides while the gang try to save themselves. Once they get captured, he finally stands up for who he wants to be for what he wants to protect, for what he wishes he had done before. He picks up a sword and decides to fight. He cuts down a robot and charges Pericles, telling the gang to run because it's too late for him, but they can still fix things.

He knew it was too late, not because he was grabbed, but because he regretted every choice he had made until this point, and I absolutely love his growth. The scene of him running forward with the sword is probably my favorite in the entire show.

I wonder if, in the end, he was remembering what Cassidy said to him, although I don't remember the exact quote. "They are good kids, better than we ever were. And I dont want them to turn out like we did."

SBG STREAMER AU

(Basically, this is about what would have happened if there was no Phantom Dimension and the entire SBG company were streamers)

Ashlyn:

● Nickname: LYN3TT3_X (or just Lyn)

● Content: Mostly plays games and does reactions to horror.

● Reason: Ashlyn is pretty emotionless, so she doesn't show fear in many games or videos. Viewers really want to see her get scared, so they ask her to play different horror games/watch horror movies. She also sometimes plays strategy games and people like her critical thinking in such games.

● Additional: Ashlyn also has specially configured donations that allow viewers to make scary screamers. Anyone who was able to scare Ashlyn in any way is given VIP on her streams, which give some cool features (You can count such people on one hand)

● Reason: Ashlyn started streaming when she once broke her leg during ballet. Her leg was put in a cast and she couldn't do ballet for 2 months. At this time, Ashlyn was alone at home and almost going crazy. One day, while watching the stream, she thought that she could do the same. Her first stream was 30 minutes long and she played a horror game. She only had one viewer and it didn't last long. She was quickly noticed and started gaining popularity.

Aiden:

● Content: Dynamic games, puzzles, racing.

● Reason: Aiden is quite active and energetic. Many people like Aiden's activity and charisma. The way he plays different games is liked by viewers. Aiden also often completes different challenges.

●Why: Taylor felt lonely and useless for some time. When her family needed money, Taylor wanted to get a job, but Tyler did not allow it. Taylor sometimes mentions Ashlyn when she is asked to play a horror game. Like: "Is this the game Lyn played?"

Logan said that he would like to compete in shooters with Tyler.

Ashlyn and Logan are stepbrother and sister, they mention each other. And also, by Logan's decision, they once arranged a cooking stream (they destroyed the kitchen). After this stream, they never tried to do cooking streams again

OLIVER, the art critic, the art collector and the art thief. grumpy-looking guy that's just too autistic to remember to smile, looking fancy even at his worst. missing art pieces? what missing art pieces? he doesn't know anything about this... well, maybe he does. he's known for being a pretty rough art critic, but no one knows that he's also a famous thief that keeps stealing art from everywhere, leaving clues and traps for the police to solve. he gives them a chance! they can try to solve his riddles to get the thing back! no one was able to do this before tho

until one day, just once, detective Angel managed to solve all of his puzzles, but somehow activated a trap in a way that was, you know, kinda deadly. so oliver under disguise had no options but to step in and save him, and that gave police a chance to reclaim just one (1) piece of art he ever stole

and ummmm no i have no idea what oliver's crimesona would be. yet.

how these two ended up in our haunted house tho? pretty easy

oliver bought an abandoned museum, because rumors been saying there's a famous art piece hidden somewhere inside. he got eaten by The Haunted House, and when managed to get out completely destroyed the building. the one eugene was after, yeah. and yes, he's still The Traumatized One in this au, because when i see a traumatized gay person in a pixel indie game i want to fold them like a paper and kick around even more

angel, simply, was the one who've got assigned to solve eugene's case in the police departament. it wasn't hat hard, since they had enough evidence anyways, but our guy tried his best to find as much as he could. of course eugene got a "guilty" verdict because of him

so of course they both have gotten an invitation

and unlike canon, now oliver is the one who remembers everything

also a cute lil addition: in this au vivi is a reporter that kinda hangs out with cops for profit. they're allowing her on crime scenes and share info, and also she often follows angel when he's solving cases, and in return they ask her to not write about some things police doesn't need people to know or, the opposite, write about something to lure the criminal out or something like that altho, it's not like she will follow the rules, right? so in her articles there's still enough info that police wants to keep in secret... so angel often saves her from trouble with police
