What do I like the most about My Candy Love New Gen?

I'm really glad I can now have the opportunity to talk about this somewhere. Thank you @tetrakys for hosting this giveaway! I'm really grateful for the opportunity ☺️

I'd like to begin with how the My Candy Love franchise as a whole was special to me. I've been into it for not as much time as some people I know, I started playing it on 2015, but it's still very special to me. It had some moments my interest was not as strong as when I first met it, but I always came back to it, no matter what LOL.

Anyway, now finally talking about MCLNG, it was a really happy moment for me when they first announced it. Like, for me every character had something special on it, I can't explain, but I think every LI has a place on my heart, I can feel their uniqueness. The feeling I got was amazing, it was the same one I had when I was a teenager.

I also really like the website. The colorful palette and the fact that the color changes according to our candy's personality? It's amazing. Actually, that was something I liked a lot as well. For me, it got me even more exciting when I saw I could choose her personality, it makes the game even more interesting.

Another thing that I really like about the game is our candy's customization. I'm a huge fan of dress up games since I was a child, and even if I can't afford most of the in-game packs, it doesn't bother me at all, there's a lot of beautiful outfits and I love testing my creativity by creating new looks everyday with what I have! Not only the dress up part, but also the fact that we can customize our own room!! I loved seeing that, since we didn't have something like this in the original MCL game.

Well, at the end, I'm having an amazing experience with My Candy Love New Gen. It's something more personal, since I can connect myself with those good old times I had when I was younger. Of course, it has lots of reasons, which I won't talk a lot here so this would get very long, but this is the main reason it makes my experience with the game even better than I thought. I'm really looking forward to the future of this game; the future episodes, outfits, illustrations... everything.

Jason Mendal as your partner (headcanons)

pet names:

Jason is a rather old fashioned romantic when it comes to pet names and nicknames. He likes calling you my love, my darling, my dear or my heart. They're not too mellow but they're still very sweet. Once you start dating he will essentially stop saying your name altogether, he won't call you by your name even if you're fighting or he is angry, because it would feel like a way of distancing himself from you. The only occasion when he will call you by yout name is when he is introducing you to someone. In that case, he will introduce you with your full name and not just your first name, it is a sign of respect in his eyes (and you clearly deserve it).

expressing affection:

Jason is not the type to show a lot of affection in public. He will hold your hand, walk with an arm around your waist, leave a soft kiss on your temple or a peck on the lips when you're saying hello or goodbye. But he will keep all the more physical displays of affection for when you're in private and away from curious eyes. When you're alone, he loves it when you sit on his lap (in a non sexual way) because he can rest his chin on your shoulder and wrap his arms tightly around you. He will nuzzle his nose against your hair and leave kisses on every inch of exposed skin at any chance he gets. He loves just randomly hugging you from behind wen you're doing something and slighly leaning his weight on you. He likes playing with your hair and caressing your cheek or your hand while your speaking. He will however publicly express his care in many other small ways, like carrying an extra pair of shoes in the car because he knows the ones you're wearing hurt you after a while, or having your favorite drink and snack/entree already ordered by the time you arrive to meet him at the café/restaurant. Another way in which he shows his affection is show you how much he trusts you (which is something that doesn't come easy to him), not only with things like his finances or his belongings, but even with his own business. Every now and then he will ask your opinion and seek your point of view often and he will take it seriously, even if you know little about his work or how to handle it, your advice is valuable to him because you are honest and you give him a fresh perspective that he may not have thought of (I imagine his employees being surprised when he calls you to see what you think about a new project or a difficult client, because its something he never does).

home life:

I already mentioned before that I imagine Jason as a very good cook that thoroughly enjoys it. If you also like cooking he will love it when you two can put time aside and spend a couple hours together in the kitchen preparing something. He is very serious and meticulous but he loves trying out new things and experimenting (even if it turns out as a complete disaster). If you don't like cooking he will just be happy to have you hanging around to talk while he is doing all the work. He will let you try everything beforehand to make sure is to your liking and he has your comfort foods memorized to make them when you're feeling down. Jason is also the number one fan of parallel play. He works from home every now and then, and obviously has his own home office, but when you're home he'd rather pick up his laptop and sit near wherever you are. And even if he is not working he just enjoys being near you while doing entirely different activities and occasionally commenting on them. Your presence is comforting for him and sometimes he will just stare at you while you're concentrated doing something else, he likes the faces that you make and all the small habits you have that you dont even notice.

A little healthy and funny headcanon for Jason:

Since I read in his description Jason hates patterned ties, my main wishful thinking is the game give us the option some day to give to him a patterned tie as gift XD

Imagine how fun it would be to see his expression of absolute disgust when he opens his gift and finds it's a tie patterned with drawings of kawaii kittens (a perfect cute revenge since he's always calling you "kitten"). And then he says "UGG I'm not going to wear that. Return it." but you convince him, and he ends up wearing it for a day just to see you happy, while you laugh out loud and he forces a sarcastic smirk, but then he laughs too and you both make jokes about it.

wacky and probably incorrect jason headcanons

definitely plays videgames, but not any videogames, he plays stardew valley. what better way to unwind after a long day of managing a successful company than managing an even more successful farm? man has SPREADSHEETS, he plays meta, he has 500 optimization mods, he is on year 20 making millions a day and vehemently hates Lewis

doesn't know shit about cars, yes he has a couple expensive ones and will gladly take any compliments on them but he just picked them because they looked fancy, he doesn't even like driving that much

he wanted to do ballet as a kid but his parents never let him because "it was a waste of time", instead, they signed him up for tennis, golf and fencing at their country club so he would mingle with other fellow rich kids (he drew the line at cricket tho)

it's impossible to watch any business-themed show with him, he will point out every single inaccuracy and will criticize all executive decisions, probably also accidentally ruin the plot twists

really good cook, like really really good. will easily whip out something for you saying "it's just a simple dish" and then its a mouth watering michelin star worthy delicacy. in fact, not only is he good but he also enjoys it a lot, man has a whole ass folder full of his own recipes, pictures and all
