It grinds my gears a bit when people think alternative people are alternative because they wanna be unique, like I literally dress the way I do because it’s a part of my identity the same way they do. I mean this is just how I dress? I don’t put much thought into being a ~special snowflake~ at all lol. On another note while we’re at at it, when you decide to compliment someone on their style please come up with something better than “oh you’re so daring for dressing like that!” or “wow I don’t understand where you find the strength to wear that wow so brave wow” etc. I don’t take it as a compliment I just find it alienating
