I just learned that in the novel, faifa and yotha are actually twins - same face, same height, same built, just different personalities, and it made me wonder how faifa took yothagun's relationship. I'm not saying faifa was jealous or that he likes gun that way but i feel like if i were faifa, i'd be so annoyed cuz why tf is my twin brother who repels anyone that comes near him gets to be in a loving relationship FIRST with MY close friend when i'm the one with the likable (borderline pushover) personality? I feel like it adds so much more depth to his 'loneliness' whenever he sees yothagun, esp with the knowledge that their mom did prefer yotha over him.

I could definitely see them being identical twins adding to it even more. Especially since everyone choose Yotha in the end. His own mother, who took him with her in the divorce, admits that she loved Yotha so much that she didn't take him because she feared she would love him too much to keep in contact with the rest of the family post-divorce! Come on.

This poor man deserves so much better than he got and I cannot wait until he gets it,. He deserves to be loved and cared for and for someone to look out for him the way he looks out for the rest of the world and sacrifices himself constantly.

Faifa has pushed himself so hard to always be the one to sacrifice and he is so similar to Gun in that way, the sunshine of the world only his sunshine is one that he started doing to protect himself.

That face. He tried so hard to get everyone to forgive and love his mother but his mother forgets he's allergic to milk despite the fact that she took care of him! He was just plain sent back to his father as a young adult and then found out it was because the stepfamily he was raised with was moving overseas and just... leaving him behind!

But he still fights for his brothers to love his mother because he's so damn desperate to be loved, because he needs everyone to be peaceful even when he deserves to be angry, to be pissed, to scream that he deserves to be loved too... I mean, this man literally had to argue with Yotha that he was the more loved one and to imagine that if they were identical twins, the same face staring back at him but knowing that face was more loved? I cannot even imagine.

Also, borderline pushover? Anon. Anon. Faifa has made himself into a rug. He has pushed himself over for the world to trample on and offered to clean the mud off their shoes because all he wants is to be loved and he sees the only way to be loved is to be useful and so he will be useful, he will be everything and anything as long as people don't leave him except they always, always do.

Faifa has walls but those walls are around his anger and his hurt and his loneliness instead of his joy or his love. He shares his love so thoroughly that he leaves nothing for himself and walls off the parts of him that need to be loved the most.

Lookwa'a characters are getting evil by each passing series.. From the series I've seen she was a mischievous angel in disguise as Gun's mom in MSP, then a misplaced caring mother of Li ming, to the arrogant sponsor in Cherry magic who tried to misuse her power. Now evilest Faifah and Yotha's mom (didn't include Newton because he doesn't care. Which is also her fault) .

That women left her marriage and took custody of the child who will suffer more with the separation, and live with him for a few years and remarried and when the child got accustomed to new family, she sent that child back . She still visits them but her energy and care mainly spent on the rebel child, not noticing her other children also deserve care. She doesn't even remember the child ahe spent most time with is allergic to milk. Talk about love and care😏. And when the rebel child demanded an explanation she blatantly told them she chose faifah because he will miss his family. She can visit them with the pretext of that without losing her ego. Still no earnest apology or whatsoever. The whole time she was clueless about her son spiraling with this information right next to her feeding him insecurity. She made her eldest an apathetic one, another as someone who doesn't believe in love and the last one as a people pleaser.. Way to go women

It has been a busy week so I'm a bit late for the party but...

I really can't accept any of the apologies from Yotha/Fai/Newton's mother.

What do you mean "I'm gonna take this kid cause he will want to see his brothers and father so I can see my other kids"?! If you want to see your kids... GO SEE YOUR KIDS!!! WHY DO YOU​ NEED THAT EXCUSE??!!

Then, your new family gets bigger and happy so you just let/send the boy (Fai) go back to live with his father... What?! Don't need him anymore??!!🤨

His shook face with what he is listening like "For real?! This is what I mean to her?!"

AND SHE HAVE THE AUDACITY OF SAYING AT HIS FACE "If I had taken Yotha, we might have been so happy that we wouldn't wanna come back and see anyone here again"?? WHAT​ IN THE FUCKIN CIRCUS IS HAPPENING HERE??!! 🤡🤡

Not to mention the woman was gonna move FAR FAR AWAY without seeing the boys AGAIN, like, no. Just no. I can't...

AND, YOU DON'T THINK I FORGOT THE MILK, DID YOU WOMAN?! THE ONE SON THAT LIVED WITH YOU AND YOU DON'T REMEMBER HE IS FUCKIN ALLERGIC TO MILK!!!!! 😃😃

And look at Faifa's face... My boy is HURT HURT, maybe even more than he was before. I think learning the reason why she took him just opened up the scar he been hiding and it hurts me so much seeing him like that 🥺🥺🥺

He is not feeling this at all... The comfort hug is not comforting...

And the fact that this was his answer to the "Come visit me sometimes". Knowing Fai, he would probably say something like "Of course, I'd love to see them too" even if he is hurt. But now, the hurt is so deep he can't even pretend...

He is just not buying any of this tender love with the boys through all this scene, I just wanna give him a hug so badly...

Can wait for Wine to heal him. I really hope they don't forget this trauma on Fai on the next 8 episodes, really excited for them 🤭🤭❤️❤️❤️

Another reason I'm obsessed with My Beautiful Man, they completely deconstruct the whole Tsundere trope and make it better.

Kiyoi's harsh attitude is used masterfully to not be seen as vulnerable and he even convinces himself that he's not as emotional a person as the rest of those around him. And Hira's worship of him just adds to this. But Kiyoi is greedy for Hira, even as he can't bring himself to accept just how much he has come to need Hira to love him.

This is why Hira and his insecurities while heartbreaking to see, never make me angry, because if this were every other romance then Hira would keep trying to make Kiyoi love him. But Hira limits himself, cause he's so genuinely respectful and hates the thought of doing anything Kiyoi wouldn't like. And Hira doesn't believe himself worthy of love so the Tsundere!Kiyoi has to break out of his own protective shell to be vulnerable!

Kiyoi can't live in denial about who he wants. His abrasive behaviour, which is a defense mechanism, has consequences! The man he loves just pulls further away. His inability to communicate his feelings verbally leaves Hira without an understanding of what Kiyoi feels. And so Kiyoi is unable to live in denial and is forced to accept repeatedly just how much he cares about Hira, just how much he wants him.

Kiyoi even tries to repeatedly let go of Hira in typical Tsundere fashion, which is a call for attention. But in this case it doesn't work! Kiyoi doesn't get to be chased as his ego demands! HE HAS TO DO THE CHASING!

Kiyoi has to learn to be honest with himself and with his lover. And that's why they're soulmates! Only Hira could have pushed Kiyoi into smashing out of his shell. Just as Kiyoi is the only one who can motivate Hira to grow and fight to overcome his own shell.

I know it seems like I'm obsessed with Kiyoi, but I'm actually completely in love with Hira and don't know how to verbalize my thoughts on that man. He's insane and completely amazing.

I am in AWE of the way this show is not afraid to fully lean on its silliness to disarm you. And they will be silly through important emotional beats and character moments, and they won't apologize for it. I need to talk to every person in charge of this show NOW

If someone would have told me Caged Again would be a series about the complex feeling of betrayal, love, comfort and trauma with animals that became humans... I'm not sure I would have believed it was a real series (but it is and it's great).

The synopsis doesn't give enough credit to this very interesting story. The fantasy elements are nice, but it's a character-driven story. It's their personal journey that makes you feel fully engaged.

These characters are very compelling and you can't be unmoved by the struggle of Sun or the overwhelming pain of Junior when he discovered his "father" wasn't as loving as he thought he was.

This episode 4 makes you experience so many emotions. It feels like a rollercoaster and in the end the hug is so tight because they both needed to cling to the other one so they don't feel like being out of their depth.

I felt so much in this episode.
