Apparently, ignoring Major Minor’s phone calls wasn’t sending the message clearly enough - probably because Snagglepuss only ignored about seven out of ten of Major Minor’s phone calls, but why should those details matter in the slightest?

                            ❝   DOES  THE  PERSON  that  you  had  this  fling  with  keep  CALLIN’  you  at  all  waking  hours  of  the  day ?  Do  they  show  up  at  your  HOUSE,  carryin’  flowers  &&  singin’   swingin’  songs  about  how  you  two  should  give  it  another  chance,  perhaps  bringin’  other  gifts  while  whisperin’  SWEET  NOTHINGS  in  your  ear  despite  the  crossed  fingers  behind  their  back ?  Do  they  still  cling  to  you  like  a  lost  PUPPY,  using  you  in  any  way  or  shape  they  can  to  squeeze  every  penny  out  of  you  until  you’re  a  SHELL  of  your  former  self ?  Or  do  they  also  follow  you  wherever  you  go,  lurking  in  th’  corner  of  your  eye  like  some  ANNOYING  KID  complainin’  because  you  stole  his  candy ?  If  any  of  these  are  true,  CONGRATULATIONS,  the  prize  behind  DOOR  NUMBER  THREE  is  a  shiny  new  restraining  order  against  that  person !    ❞

((Where can one find the old Hanna-Barbera stuff these days?))

I myself tend to just go out and buy the actual dvds (or in snagglepuss’s case, the amazon video feed) bc It gets me the highest quality images for icons and graphics, but if you want a website that won’t give you a virus I know there’s a lot of Hanna-Barbera stuff on Dailymotion; last I checked the entirety of Top Cat was on there, for example.

The hound chuckles softly at the other’s sweet words and feels compelled to intertwine his paw with the feline’s but hesitates, opting to ask instead. He was just that kind of dog. Old fashioned. 

“Say.…Would it be alright if I were ta’ hold yer hand? On account of….well, how much I like ya’ n all……And Top Cat….did anybody ever tell ya that you should write a book? The way you talk really is one in a million. It’s like you paint with words and just say the prettiest darn things I’ve ever heard.”

[🐱]~                   WHISKERS  TWITCH  &&  tail  flicks  out  at  the  comment.  Truth  be  told,  he  actually  ENJOYED  how  old  fashioned  the  other  was;  it  was  the  mark  of  a  true  gentleman.  Holding  his  hand  out,  the  feline  looks  away  while  PRETENDING  to  be  flustered  as  if  to  play  along.
