[hustleandglowmotivation]

I made a presentation to share my journey of how I got here. How I got to NYC and what made me leave. The presentation is very short and I hope to share more in the near future. My goal is to share my story in hopes that it’ll save a life or two. From surviving domestic violence to moving to Nyc in mid pandemic to meeting the love of my life and creating hustle and glow. I also intend to share the journey as I/we strive for better, for more, for our dreams. Nothing is ever perfect and it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Life has taught me that nothing is impossible with God in the center of it all! No matter what I have gone through, the moment I pray I receive! not always right away exactly what I want; but always what I need. I want to share my testimony through my journey. This is my little guy Romeo recovering from pneumonia in his hospital bed in Florida. This little guy is so strong! March 2020 I took Romeo to the hospital because he just couldn't shake a nasty cold that turned into him being weaker than he normally has been with colds. In December of 2019 Covid-19 was reaching the US and we had no idea! Romeo was diagnosed with 3 viruses, 1 of which they had no name for (I assumed because it was most likely covid and he was one of the very first cases of the US.) Romeo had water in his lungs which was why I couldn't get him better with our regular cold remedy routines. My baby was so sick... my heart was drowning; but with BIG prayer God helped those doctors heal my boy. The doctors gave Romeo some steriods for his lungs that within 24 hours of him being admitted into the hospital he was better! My boy was eating, smiling and drinking juice! Although I’m not a fan of heavy medications (simply due to the unknown and the high side affects) but I’m happy it saved my boy.

 During this time I was planning an escape from my abusive partner at the time. Romeo and I had endured too much and I was ready to escape safely. I am so grateful we did....stay tuned for next weeks post on how we escaped. Follow and life for more photos, stories, and polls.

For so long I have had this burning desire in my belly to express myself through creative outlets. Be it acting, dancing, drawing, or a little graphic designing; I always felt a sense of freedom when in those creative modes. Have you ever felt a burning desire to do something? Have you ever ignored it because you felt you couldn't make it happen due to either children, parents, your partner, or even your self sabotaging thoughts? I’m proof that although not easy you can still hustle for your dreams no matter what and do it so gracefully you glow in the process. I have been focusing my energy on my passion. I’ve felt more powerful than ever since I've channeled my desires and created a plan to execute them. You owe it to yourself to follow your dreams.

Here at Hustle and Glow, not everything is easy peasy. There are so many trials and tribulations we face as humans and especially in these hard times that cause us to doubt. We are a faith-driven blog and everything we do we do with love and the intention to inspire others to be their greatest selves while growing faith. Here’s a little prayer to help strengthen your faith as you hustle for your dreams so that you may continue to Glow from the inside out! As long as we keep God in the center of everything we will provail. Faith is a powerful tool of confidence.

Hustle and Glow is a more than a way of life. It's a mindset. In order to Glow (be happy, live in abundance) one must hustle for your dreams. What does hustle mean here? Hustle is to go after your dreams and tackle your goals no matter how hard or how big. Nothing worth it is easy; so we must do what ever it takes in order to achieve our goals. FIRST THING IS FIRST we must keep God in the center of it all! When we put God first we win no matter what. 

I am hustler. I work a full time job, and part time on my dreams until I can work full time on my dreams. I’m a single mother to a special needs little guy. Studying in college and I wake up every morning grateful in prayer and for those mornings that feel harder than others I pray through it all. The battles we face makes us who we are. It’s not what happens to us that defines us, but how we react to what happens to us.

Hello everyone! Welcome to Hustle and Glow motivation. I have created this blog to share my journey of chasing my dreams and the things I do to glow while doing it. The goal of this this blog is to connect with an audience seeking motivation, inspiration, and community.
