I haven't been paying attention to CR for a while now (i dont like when adventuring parties start receiving titles from the fantasy UN, loses their scrappiness), but this is probably the best choice for the campaign. Whether they win or lose, they will be moving on to Daggerheart, because WotC has proven that they do not respect their players, and because the players are probably winded from years of trying to smush epic Pathfinder adventures into a framework built entirely around tile-strict dungeon crawling. The cast and crew want something bombastic and insane to end the trilogy on, which is why BH's are probably the most lore-powerful party yet - with titans and demigods and divine champions.
People have been parasocial around big ttrpg liveplays for a long time now, and fans need to take steps back and remember that they are not playing the adventure, and that they have no say in what the players do.
The choice to open the cage was a very clear example of - what's interesting and satisfying as players in a campaign VS what's logical and sensible as characters in a story.
Bell's Hells now had the time, allies and resources to figure out a better solution to the Pradathos problem. But the players want that final face off with the biggest threat of the campaign before it ends.
It's easy for people to get invested in the show as you would a scripted narrative, and feel frustrated with these kind of decisions (myself included). But the joy of watching a TTRPG is seeing what happens when they press the big red button. So I am trying to let go of my worries for Exandria and the party, and just settle in for some fun D&D, where ever that takes us!

I find the fact that the closest mountain point on earth to the moon, the highest mountain and the tallest mountain are 3 different mountains to be a tiny bit disturbing

Three days have passed since Khaled Najjar, an elderly Palestinian man, was brutally attacked by Israeli settlers near his home in south of Hebron, West Bank.
He sustained a large gash above his eye and skull fractures.
Fortunately, his condition is improving, and he was released from intensive care today.
Israeli settlers are terrorists.

i honestly don't know how to say this but the survival of an entire group of people who are going through a active genocide should not have to depend on how well they are able to articulate and present their condition to you in a post.
but it is. a person gets donations to buy necessities if their post ends up being eye catching or something that grabs the reader's attention. what happens to those who cannot make such posts? no one's survival should depend on something like this.
i urge you to help alaa and her two young children. she needs to buy food and other necessities which are very expensive. she also needs to buy firewood regularly to keep warm.
her fundraiser has been verified.
please donate and help her out

"we couldn't afford too many character models, so we had to be careful who got a model"
they commissioned a model for victor, a character who appears on the stream for 5 minutes, says nothing, dies, and isn't even memorable enough to justify it.
good use of money.
