He’s the Owl and the House of the Owl House. He has a pair of Baba Yaga hut legs. He can detach himself and fit in a backpack. The series finale revealed that God has a Hooty in their eye. His first word was hoot. His second word was hoot hoot. I know nothing else about him.

Notice how Odalia did not get redeemed. It seems she is no longer in the picture when it comes to the Blight kids' lives nor Alador's. And it seems like the show hinted at Alador moving on to someone else. This is so important. Abusive parents and spouses are not worthy of redemption and I'm so proud of The Owl House for showing that.

i dont think any of you understand how important i am to the plot

hunter becoming a palisman carver is just. christ, i can’t even fully describe it because i’m still actively sobbing but. is that not the embodiment of love? of healing? that he had that, he had a palisman, he had a friend, his first real friend. someone who would never hurt him, like he’s always been so used to. someone who was patient with him, loved him. and it got taken away, it got destroyed, and it hurt, it hurt, but he came back. flapjack is a part of him, tattooed on his skin and etched in stone forever, that love is everlasting. and now hunter shares it, and with every palisman he carves and every life he brings into this world flapjack returns a little more. how many flapjacks are there in the boiling isles, now? how many palismen, being there for kids when they have nothing else? helping them heal from their traumas? keeping them safe? loving them? flapjack isn’t gone, really. flapjack is in hunter’s eyes and scars and hands and in every single thing he makes. flapjack lives on.

I kept trying to figure out why Hunter’s timeskip look was throwing me off because like, hair is same length/style, outfit isn’t terribly different just added an apron, like what was it that I kept sticking on?? I chalked it up to the more fluid animation style making him look different

sitting here full on weeping on a friday afternoon because oh my god it's just all about grief in the owl house isn't it. all of it. it's all about the love that's left behind and who we choose to become with it.

i just. god. jesus fucking christ it's about how the world quite literally starts and would end in the loss of a father; it's about how the world was created by the titan leaving his son behind. it's about how the world nearly ended by caleb dying before meeting the child he was expecting. it's about how the world was saved by the last gift luz's father left her. it's about how we have the choice to move forward in spite of the loss or stay trapped behind, to accept and open your heart to new love or to deny and twist their memory into something grotesque. it's about how nothing within the plot of the owl house would even exist had three men not died, had three fathers not been forced to leave their children behind. are you listening look me in the eyes.

i'm a wreck in here like. in the end isn't it all about love. isn't it all about loss. in the end aren't they one in the same. i need to lie down
