Vore is a fetish, not a kink, and fetishes are something someone NEEDS to get turned on, otherwise they can't get in the mood often.

Fetish is a sexual term.

A kink is something like praise that's nice to have once in a while, but isn't required to have a good time..but is also a sexual term.

There is no sfw on vore, you cannot show anyone that you like vore or you will get fired or be considered harassment. Showing them vore is no different than showing them inflation or BDSM.

Minors do not belong on anything vore or fetish related, and if you draw their CHILD OCS in vore, it can be considered child pornography because you drew them in a fetish relation even if it's in fantasy.

I would love to hear your side on this, because many believe vore, despite being a fetish, is completely non-sexual and is acceptable for people like safety-writes-noms, and fuzzytummies who are minors that are 14 and 16, to be drawing pornography.

Vore does not have to be inherently sexual. If you based it purely on what you could find on the Wikipedia page, yes, you could interpret it as pure fetish material. But I simply don't believe that to be the case. It can simply be a way to express yourself, whether that be in a sexual or nonsexual way.

It can be a lot of things, chief among them being a storytelling trope. If it was inherently sexual and NSFW, it wouldn't be in movies and kids shows, would it? Off the top of my head I can think of Shrek, Hercules, Tom & Jerry, etc. If you think it's sexual only, then you should probably direct your anger toward every director or author who put a character getting eaten in their work, and every parent who thought it was appropriate to show their child a movie or show with supposed fetish material in it.

For many people I talk to and am friends with, their liking of vore can be a lot of things. Sometimes, it's a trauma response or coping mechanism. Other times, it's merely for comfort or because they like the stories they can tell by implementing it as a trope. None of those reasons strictly have to be sexual, and denying them the ability to comfort themselves and find enjoyment in it is a terrible thing. With all due respect, every person knows themself better than YOU know them. If a minor enjoys vore nonsexually, they're not going to change their mind because an adult hiding behind an anon ask told them that the minor is into fetish and pornographic material.

SFW is a bit of a tricky term to use, I think. I agree that you shouldn't show things like vore at work willy-nilly because many people may INTERPRET it as sexual, even if it's not. That's all they've heard about it. I use the term SFW more to describe something as nonsexual in nature, and depending on context something that minors should be safe to view and interact with.

With all due respect, anon, it's a trope. If an artist like safety-writes-noms draws a character eating another character, states it's nonsexual and continuously requests that it be viewed in a nonsexual fashion, then the problem is on YOU for viewing that as pornography. These minor artists have made it clear that they don't enjoy vore as a fetish, so the adults need to act responsible instead of continuously harassing minors by insisting that they're drawing pornographic material. If that's how you view it, then you should block the minor and move on.

If you can only view it as sexual, then stick to your side where it's only sexual instead of making it a problem for everyone just trying to express themselves and be happy. It's not that hard to be responsible.

Any further asks stating vore is inherently sexual or arguing with my point will be ignored and deleted. I've declared my stance on the topic and am not going to get into a back and forth with anyone who hides behind an anon ask on it.

the concept of "character eats other character" was not created for you to jerk off to. you moron. you fucking loser.

it just exists. and people can like random tropes for any number of reasons, which can be sexual, but they can also just not be sexual. this shouldn't even have to be said, and the fact that there are so many people who outright refuse to "get" this ridiculously simple concept is utterly baffling. leave us alone.

Small vent cause I swear I keep seeing this, and it just bugs me. Im not angry, I'm mostly just sad that this is where we are right now.

Guys, can we not harass others. Unless they are hurting others, what is harassment going to do? Make them sad? Make them hate themselves?

People can, in fact, have different likes and opinions than you. As long as they are not actively hurting people, hating others, or being mean, what is wrong with what they are doing?

Liking sfw vore, extreme cuddling, or any of its other names is not something that one should be harassed over.

Likeing vore in a sexual light is not something to be harassed over.

Liking it both ways is ok, too.

Also, the fact that some people are going out of their ways to harass people who like vore (sfw or nsfw) in a fatal/digestion context is so sad.

I personally dont find vore sexual. I personally dont like fatal (in the sense that the prey is dead completely and isn't a ghost or anything that still has a presence).

But here is the thing. I dont need to like and/or understand it to respect it. I dont need to like spiders to respect people who keep them as pets. I dont need to like the idea of having children to respect those who do.

People. You dont need to understand their feelings. You dont need to feel the same way. But they are people too. They have feelings. They are more than just text on a screen.

I know I may seem like a flat, one dimensional person since I post 1 type of content here, and thats how many people who like vore make their blogs too, but I am a human behind the screen.

Just, please. Respect others. I know, many people here are hurt. I know many people here have trust issues, and unfortunately, a draw of the vore community is that need for trust. But having healthy boundaries, having a healthy outlet that's not an anger filled rant (*will elaborate on what I mean at the bottom of this), and having someone to ask "can you make sure this is me talking, and not just my initial reaction" are things this community needs to work on.

If I were to give any advice, it would be to wait a minute before you post a vent, rant, or anything along those lines. Walk away for a minute, come back, and reread it. You may find that some of what you type is your initial anger, fear, or hurt speaking, not you.

I want your real voice to be heard, yall, and sometimes to do that, you need to step back for a moment. So before you send that hate message, before you post that rant, please ask yourself:

"Is that me, or what I was taught"

* I want to elaborate on what I mean by anger filled rant.

What I consider an anger filled rant is when someone finds something they dont like, and decid to attack it.

Instead of making something informative, they make something emotion filled. This isn't always bad. But this can be bad if the thing they are attacking is something that is not hurting others or themselves.

So in short, what I mean by anger filled rant is, a rant that attacks something that is not harmful.

I dont condone harassment towards anyone, but I do understand an angry rant if it is about someone who is hurting others. Again, that is not the thing I am referencing. I am not saying someone being angry at another for hurting people is wrong, it isnt. People should be angry at people getting hurt.

So yah, thank you all for reading this. I just needed to get this out there.

oh yeah srry for taking so long to get to the vore drive thing
