Love is the little things... In the past few years I've seen this cartoon in the Dallas paper when visiting family there and I really liked the simpliciity of the little things that makes a loving relationship so special pointed out by Kim. She's based the characters on her own love life experience. It's often that these get overlooked with the hustle bustle of our lifestyles. The drawings are adorable but very expressive themselves and again simply drawn but the reader cannot help to be drawn to them - the dark-haired guy and woman in love or growing in love. There are chapters aptly named so you know what aspects you might be reading about. You can read the book in less than a 1/2 hour and if you chose to, cut pertinent pages out and send to the love of your life. There is some overlap with each succeeding book but I am sure you will hit a page and say "hey that's us"! There is really nothing inappropriate written or portrayed. Go to Amazon
Love is...proposing with this book ! I am sure that most of you already know these cute couple very well...they used to pop up sometimes from a corner of your newspaper or sometimes from your favorite chewing gum wrapper. When I was a kid those scenes didn't mean too much for me, but after some decades...oh my God! Totally different...Not because I grew up, but because I found my perfect match in life, my second half, Yuliya! Go to Amazon
Love is...... great book I used to collect the clippings from the newspaper everyday and keep them in a shoe box. I grew up with love is..... Go to Amazon

Another Chapter in the World of Love...... This book as the others brings the meaning of Love to a whole other level. Bringing great memories of the comic strip back to life with this 2011 updated version. I've read it over and over again and feel every word and phrase to my inside. I've gotten the whole collection of these books as well as the dolls and the figures and shirts and so on and have been a huge Love Is fan for a long time. I recommend this book to any other Love Is fan or to anyone who wants a few words of love in their system or just to give to a significant other. Great book. May Kim always be remembered as she truly brought a true new meaning to the word..."love" Go to Amazon
Five Stars A higher quality book than I expected. Pages are thick and the bindings are tight. Go to Amazon

leave it on your coffee table for prudish relatives and let the hilarity ensue I read the second book by Mr. Conrella first, titled Zonzo. Both books are picture books entirely, with no narrative blocks, nor thought balloons nor uttered words. Most of the tales (tales?) are six panels, though a few are four and at there are a couple of one panel illustrations. A viewing of this book makes more sense if one considers the quote on the back cover: Go to Amazon

I love this book I love this book, and all of Joan Cornella's artwork. However, I was really disappointed at the care the product was shown. The book arrived with indentations in the cover like it had been thrown around and poorly handled during shipping. Go to Amazon
Love the book's quality and great price This was a Valentine's Day gift. I was really happy with the price and the overall quality. I'm a tactile person, so the paper texture is very important to me. UUUUUUURP I had to do it, Morty. I had to write thUUUUURP this review to let you know you need it Morty… you need this book to survive! Go to Amazon
I love collecting art books because I love learning about all ... Going to write an honest review as an owner of many art books and an avid fan of Rick and Morty. I love collecting art books because I love learning about all of the work that goes into a show and the entire thought process that went into every detail. I was expecting to see more concept art, more about architecture and set design, more storyboards, and overall just more about the actual production of the show. There is a bit of this but it's concentrated to the last 20-30 pages of the book whereas the first 3/4 is solely finished character designs. Although these do offer little tidbits of information about the art specifically, I was looking for more content in the descriptions of actual development of the show--a real look inside Rick and Morty. Compared to other art books I have (i.e. Disney film art books and Avatar the Last Airbender) this book doesn't compare (I do realize that this show is far more simplistic than the others that I possess art books for, but I would've loved to see all of the terrible drawings that they went through that they just mention that they did in the book). Go to Amazon
Essential Rick and Morty Collectible Item You can't find a better way of seeing the concept art and early designs that would soon fully develop into the Rick and Morty show that we know and love. I have yet to finish the book but I love how it explains the thought processes behind the creative staff as they design the weird yet enjoyable characters of the Rick and Morty Universe. If you are a fan of Rick and Morty, this book is definitely a must have. Came in great condition too. Go to Amazon
This book is a great gift for any fan of the show This book is a great gift for any fan of the show. My daughter loves drawing characters and this book gives an inside look into the creative process of inventing this show. It gives drawing tips on the details of the characters and tells the story of how each character evolved. There is plenty of full page art with lots of fun facts, and the last chapter is about the production of.the show. Well worth the price. Go to Amazon
This will definitely make a fine addition with my collection of decorative teapots!!! Great purchase!!! Better than expected. At first I was mad, because I thought a the packing tape that was taped to the front of the book tore up the book, and I made a big stink around the house, yelling at everyone. Then printed a return form, and was all ready to send it back, but then realized the book wasn't torn. It was just a sticker on the front of the book. Good as new, well, it was new, I think. At least it looked new...I don't work in a book store so its hard for me to have any basis of comparison or enough experience to tell the difference. However, I do own a lot of books, and this will definitely make a fine addition to my collection. As well as with my collection of decorative teapots!!! Great purchase! Go to Amazon
At no other point in my life have I ever ... At no other point in my life have I ever felt the presence of God. It's quite the irony that an art book from a show that reinforces the notion that nothing in the universe has meaning could bring back to the judeo christian church. Use at your own caution. Also, the glow in the dark cover is really cool Go to Amazon
Exactly as expected Don't be the version of yourself who doesn't get this book! It's actually packed with content from seasons 1 and 2 and has even more including the character concept art, tons of alien civilization character art(like the people on the purge planet and unitys planet and more), technology art and witty comments spread throughout as well. Go to Amazon
Ricktastic If you are a fan of Rick and Morty, or an aspiring animator you will love this book.It is beautifully made and assembled of extremely high quality materials, the printing and binding are exquisitely executed. Oh,the glow in the dark cover really, really, really glows great. This book is so much more than a coffee table book, it is a diary of the creative process. Go to Amazon
for my collection of artbooks A must have for any R&m fan I really love it Amazing but it was not in perfect condition Awesome good product. Awesome book but came damaged Good! Great Art! For all Rick and Morty Fans

Very Enjoyable This relatively small book is divided into several sections with slices from Churchill's life and quotations related to politics, speaches, friends, animals, family, etc. Go to Amazon
Winston lives on. There is not likely to be another Englishman with Churchhill's acumen for language, his succinct observations, and a veiled sense of merriment that underlay many of his remarks, publicly and privately. Today's lackluster politicians could learn much from him. His rejoinder to a colleague who advised him that his fly buttons were undone was worth the price of the book by itself! And, he was half-American. Go to Amazon

"It was a pleasure to burn." In a future society, books are forbidden and "firemen" responsible for burning the remaining titles. As Relevant Today As It Was Over 60 Years Ago. I wish I could give this novel more than 5 stars. This is a monumental work that is as relevant today as it was when Bradbury first wrote it over 60 years ago. This edition of the book contains a large amount of supplementary material in the form of pictures, drawings, copies of original manuscript pages, introductions, reviews and criticisms that only add to the value of this novel to the serious reader. The explanations of how this novel evolved, first from a story called "The Pedestrian" into a second and longer story called "The Fireman" and finally into the work we now know as Farenheit 451 is an education in and of itself into the process of a writer and his development of a story. This alone is worth far more than the price of the book. Go to Amazon
Can I give more than 5 stars? "-- for how many people did you know who refracted your own light to you? People were more often – he searched for a simile, found one in his work – torches, blazing away until they whiffed out." Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451 Go to Amazon

An Excellent Role Model Mindy Kaling is an exceptionally intelligent woman who has worked hard for her success in an industry that's been famously unfriendly to women. Her book is mostly not about that. Instead, it's a deceptively hilarious extended meditation on how she from bribing classmates to like her with Skittles at the age of 12 she became the force of nature that she is. In Hollywood, which believes its own fictions about what the world wants from female writers of comedy and even more about what it wants from female TV icons, she's done what every woman in the TV business must have thought was impossible: created her success by hard work and being herself. She was there before Lena Dunham and before Amy Schumer. Go to Amazon
Real life. Real empowerment. Said with a smile. Actual rating 3.5 stars. Go to Amazon
but has her undeniable wit and humor that fans of the Mindy Project would love. I would have liked Mindy Kaling's second book (her first was "Is Everybody Hanging Out Without Me?") is another lighthearted, though superficial, collection of essays. For those not familiar with Kaling, she started off as a writer/actress on "The Office" on NBC, and went on to create and star in her own sitcom, "The Mindy Project", on Fox. Kaling's first book focused more around her childhood and early career after finishing college at Dartmouth and starting in screenwriting. Her latest book focuses more on how her life changed after her own television show blossomed (it later was cancelled by FOX but picked up by online streaming service Hulu). This book is a lot quicker and not as introspective as her first book (where she talked a lot about struggling to make it in NYC in a shared boxcar apartment, and how she struggled with body image growing up) , but has her undeniable wit and humor that fans of the Mindy Project would love. I would have liked, selfishly, more depth (she does talk about this a lot, but more in a jocular, brushing-it-off-sort of way) to her discussions about being a female in Hollywood, facing constant and the challenges she faced in starting her own television show and staying true to her artistic vision - which is my only critique - but I guess that's not really the point of this book; it's a lighthearted and humorous account of her experiences in Hollywood. The best essay comes at the end, and was a "do-over" response to a question she received during an appearance at a signing from a young girl asking her how she managed to maintain her confidence. The response was not unconventional or full of any unexpected wisdom, but the fact that she realized her brief response she gave to the fan was not sufficient and wrote a whole essay about it in her book was refreshing. This book is the literary equivalent of popcorn - it's not going to fill you up or surprise you, but it's airy, lighthearted reading. Go to Amazon
Hot and Cold I went from moments of “This is so great’” to “That was 15 minutes of my life I will never get back.” There were parts of this book that fascinated me and cracked me up, and others where I was bored stiff. The book seemed to jump around at random, making it feel disjointed, with a number of sections that left me thinking, “WTF?? Why was that even in the book?” All the positive and negative moments average out to a 3. Go to Amazon
Mindy is da bomb Good book No Content Wicked funny Awesome and funny. Great vacation read You know what you’re getting Great You really don't want to hear how Hollywood sausage is made I love her books!

Excellent book on grammar with some instruction, some anecdotes, and plenty of humor. Hilarious. Well-written. Instructive at times. Go to Amazon
Proper English Lives! One would not expect a book on grammar and punctuation to be hilarious, but Truss brings laughter to almost every page. As one of those annoying people who cannot help but point out grammatical errors in public print (menus and grocers and ebooks, oh my!), I found a kindred spirit in Truss. I only wish she had provided her email address, so I could share with her the most egregious of the sign-errors I see every day. Every Grammar-phile should read this book, and keep it on her person for constant reference. Non Grammar-philes should read this book to learn the love of clarity in writing - and to pick up tools with which to defend it. You, too, could be one of those annoying people, confronting the abuse of quotation marks in greengrocers everywhere! Go to Amazon
Really fun read! My ability to puctuate correctly was adequate, but I wanted to be better. I got this book and found it to be an enirely enjoyable read; it gives you confidence to use even the the more unusual punctuation marks correctly... Go to Amazon
A keeper It's refreshing to read a book by an author who has such an obvious love of written language and all its nuances. To make it even better, Ms Truss has infused the entire work with wit and humor. I especially liked the way she was able to weave in a sense of the history of punctuation and its impact on written English, and I share her concern for the future of all these points, stops, and marks. This is a book to savor again and again. Go to Amazon
A Trully Creative, Entertaining and Informative Read If you have doubts a book about punctuation can be clever, entertaining, funny and educational all at the same time, read this one. I have given it as a gift to many of my reader friends and it has never failed to please. Short example and supposedly true story: A famous writer, on his death bed, uttered the following final six words, "I should have used fewer semi-colons." You gotta love it. Go to Amazon
A Humorous Look At Punctuation Trying to remember all the conventions and rules surrounding the topics of punctuation and grammar give some folks a headache. Heaven forbid that anyone would actually want to read up on it; but this was an enjoyable read. We have some snobs here in America who won’t even bother to read something written in the English style (their loss). I often read independently-published Kindle books by English authors and Lynne Truss has clarified, for me at least, some of the strange punctuation noted. Like American writers, English writers also take liberties with the language, but most readers will find themselves chortling through the pages. Dedicated people like this author offer us hope. Go to Amazon
My mistake turned out to be a revelation I bought the book with the advice of a co-worker and accidentally bought the audio CD version/format of the book. My mistake was fortuitous and I have never been happier. The audio format (CD) is a pure delight to listen to as I commute to and from work each day. The people who made the disc did a wonderful job. Very interesting as well as entertaining. I will buy more audio books after this one. Go to Amazon
Get it, read it, keep it, tell all you know about it. This tome deserves high praise indeed. Lynne truss is excellent and knows her stuff so well that you will feel like a small student at a master's knee. She diligently argues that punctuation should not be placed aside and forgotten. That it makes your words come alive with vibrancy. Go to Amazon
Read it once and you’ll never write the same Not a style guide, but a delightful and amusing read I didn’t like it An Okay Read A must read Extremely boring. If the schools didn't require this book Punctuation Penance A well deserved: runaway, best, seller - in Great Britain... Hilarious The musical

Come out of the proverbial cat closet We've all heard of the "crazy cat lady" but what about the crazy cat men? There must be some out there. Author Sam Kalda takes a look at some famous men throughout history who loved their feline friends in Of Cats and Men. Go to Amazon
Smart, Gorgeous, Feminist (not me, the book) This is a smart, quirky, feminist and fun collection of brief biographies of famous men who've bucked gender constraints and loved them some cats. First, the writing is great, the biographies are smart and just telling enough to sate the uncurious and whet the appetites of more interested folks. But most importantly, the illustrations here are gorgeous--distinctly styled but not gimmicky, clever but not ONLY clever. Go to Amazon

UnBEARably cute! Climo's comics combine the sheer cuteness of her drawing with wonderful jokes and puns. Many of them involve lateral thinking and curious consequences of animals behaving like people. Most are light hearted, but she does not avoid joking about shrimps about to be eaten by huge whales, a vulture pecking at a pig (who turns out to be sleeping) or suicidal lemmings. And many are about nothing else than pure cute, especially in this volume, which is dedicated to friendship and just how nice friends can (should?) be. Go to Amazon
Reading this will make you happy! Quirkily funny and dangerously cute: the only problem is that this book might be even more enjoyable for adults than for kids... So don't hesitate to read this even if you do not have the excuse of having children in your household. Or give it to your adult friends, as I defy anyone not to enjoy and smile at these little gags and puns. Go to Amazon
Cute and funny Liz Climo's artwork is adorable. She has a fantastic sense of humor and if you can page through this book without cracking a smile, I think you might want to see a doctor because something must be wrong with you. Go to Amazon

I absuolutly love this book. This book has so much to offer. It tells you dozens and dozens of stories of villain origins and current whereabouts in the DC universe. It's really neat. Don't get me wrong there is some pretty bad stories (Like Dial E in my opinion) and some origins of big shot villains that are changed to your disapproval(Like making Lobo skinny) . But it still packs a punch and gives a treat of your favorite villains. I know most of these villains but there's some villains that I have no idea about (Like Shadow thief who's determine to kill aliens and defend humans) and it was great reading about them. A great present to yourself or a friend. Go to Amazon

Decent This could have been much better if the editors had more from the Mike Grell era which is, in my humble opinion, the best green arrow ever. Go to Amazon
Mostly stories from the Golden and Silver Age I'm a old Silver Age and liked this book a lot . It starts from 1941 -2013 . It spans Green Arrow's artists who drew him and some of the best stories from those periods . Its a big hardcover book and does jump a bit and don't think fans of the television show would like it but still if a Green Arrow fan it shouldn't be ignored . It starts with a old 10 cent comic with characters I remember seeing as a kid in reprints in the early 60's but in the middle is when Neal Adams drew him along with the Green Arrow . It also includes the famous comics when it dealt with heroin when Speedy was hooked by page 200 it turned to todays art which I really dislike but for the price which is cheap for a hard cover its worth the price for a fan . Go to Amazon
Nice collection of Green Arrow stories

Not for the birds! Having never heard of the author, I judged the book by its cover and ordered it. And it has nothing to do with birds! (kidding) Go to Amazon
He's not kidding in that title. I really like Clinton Kelly, but maybe not quite as much as I thought I did, based on this book. I knew him from What Not to Wear and, of course, from The Chew. This book showed me a tougher, more snarky side of him (I guess we all have that side, but it is very prevalent in this book.). It is a memoir, of sorts, based on a series of events in his life. He pulls no punches when he doesn't like someone, such as Paula Deen, and he doesn't seem all that kind to people he does like. Check out the tale of his spa mud bath with his BFF. All that said, the book is very well written, and I read the whole thing. But I wasn't sad when the last chapter was finished (my acid test for book love). I bought the Kindle version, but if it had been a traditional book, it would have gone into the donation box as soon as I finished it. That happens when there's no chance I'll want to read it again or pass it on to a friend who might enjoy it. Go to Amazon
So funny! I cannot stop laughing! This book is such a great read. Go to Amazon
Too funny for words! If you loved "What Not to Wear" or enjoy watching "The Chew", you can't help but love Clinton's sense of humor. I needed some good laughs, and this book certainly delivered! The book is written the way he talks, so at times, I felt like I could actually hear his voice. If you're sensitive to language or sexual content, you may not enjoy it, but I thought it was a real hoot! Thanks to Clinton for making me laugh! Go to Amazon
So friken funny! I have always watched Clinton's shows and thought he had that perfect personality that is somewhere between shocking and hilarious, this book proved to me that he really is that truly funny person with a side order of snark. Can't wait for the next book. Go to Amazon
A gem of a read I had no idea I would like this book so much. A random purchase, it turned out to be a delightful read: funny, entertaining, and clever. I also connected with a lot of heart in the author's stories, foul language notwithstanding. (Actually, though not a fan of all the "dirty" words, they did somehow make the stories seem more authentic.) Clinton Kelly is a gem and a darn (damn) good writer. Go to Amazon
which I love. I found myself laughing out loud This book brought out signs of Clinton that i suspected. He is very human, which I love. I found myself laughing out loud, this book made me appreciate the people in "show business". I have always loved Clinton especially on What Not To Wear. It is always to find out these are real people, like the rest of us. Thank you Clinton. Go to Amazon
Funny Fun, light hearted read. Clinton is an excellent story teller. I liked that the stories spanned his whole life. I highly recommend reading this book! Go to Amazon
Clinton Kelly Definitely recommend audiobook version So funny! SO FUNNY!!! If you need a cheap laugh....uncle Clinty's got ya Kinda hum drum..... A quick and entertaining collection of Clinton Kelly’s life. some funny chapters. Clinton Kelly Killed it! ❤️

The original TMNT collected in full color! This is a very good presentation of the original Mirage Studios TMNT comic by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The book was originally published in black and white but I prefer it in color because I feel that it adds character and charm. This is because the color seems to add some extra life to what usually seems pretty sick for sure but also kind of bland. It is also presented here in extra large print which is even better, especially for fans like me who have vision problems and need glasses. The first volume collects the first seven issues and Raph's one shot where he meets with Casey Jones for the first time, all assembled here in glorious, eye popping full color. I also like how the front and back covers are made to look like a pizza box and the table of contents is made to look like a pizzeria menu, it's both funny and appetizing at the same time, although oddly enough, these turtles were not obsessed with pizza. The only draw back to the extra large print size is that it increases the size of the book itself. The dimensions are roughly 12 1/4" high x 9 1/4" wide x 1 1/8" thick so be sure to make some room in your book shelf, especially if you are planning to collect all five volumes (volume 4 is due out this Christmas Eve). Over all I highly recommend this for all hard core adult TMNT fans like myself who fondly remember the turtles' awesome past, just be wary of these books' size. Go to Amazon
It was packed with action and a great story! I really enjoyed the colorization as well The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! I grew up loving the movies and 80s cartoon, but I had never read any of the comics. Since the movie and cartoon were so different from one another, I wanted to read the actual origin from the beginning. I couldn't put the thing down! It was packed with action and a great story! Back to the Sewers!! This is a great collection for a great value! I had most of these stories as a kid in the Mirage colored graphic novels and one of the major changes is some of the coloring. Shredder is in a blueish purple color and I could swear that he was in red in my old graphic novels. Don't get me wrong I like the coloring and these stories are so much fun. This is a tall volume and I had to rearrange my book shelf just to get it to fit alongside my Marvel Omnibus'. This is one of those things that you don't really know how awesome it is until you sit down to read it. To me these stories are just as important as the origins of Spider-Man, Captain America, and the Hulk. The large pages with larger pictures gives one the chance to enjoy the artwork and for fans of the original stories its a chance to catch something you may have missed in the smaller format. The better choice for this series. I was trying to decide if I wanted to get this colorized version, or the classic B&W Ultimate version. The Ultimate version has a better cover, but after having a chance to flip through that version, and compare it to this one, I find the colorization to be a great improvement to the stories. Well done and a great way to experience the original TMNT storyline. Go to Amazon
This is one beautiful book! If you were a fan of the ... This is one beautiful book! If you were a fan of the original comics by Eastman and Laird, or if you want to get into them, this is a great book! Scorpion Studios did an excellent job with the coloring, and the monstrous size of this thing is impressive! 9.5"x12.5"! Go to Amazon
Incredible "Works" series continues! I absolutely love these books in the TMNT "Works" series! I know that the series was originally published in black and white, but it is awesome to see them colored and in a large format. IDW has said they will produce all 5 volumes in this format (just like the Ultimate Collections in B&W), and I can't wait! Go to Amazon
