ACTUAL CONVERSATION FROM TWO DAYS AGO (same guy): Me: So, the T3 isn't exactly a sports camera, even if you shoot in JPEG. Have you considered renting a better camera on the days you need to shoot? (keep in mind I could have just tried to sell him a better camera) Him, with a scoff: No, why would I do that? People are paying me. It's not professional. In my mind: PEOPLE ARE PAYING YOU?????

Not only that, professionals rent all the time, unlike this certified idiot.

ACTUAL CONVERSATION FROM EARLIER TODAY: Him: (Rebel T3 owner with desire to photograph cross-country equestrian jumping in raw) I can't seem to shoot long bursts, so I'm going to buy this $100 SD card. Me: (after finding out his raw buffer depth is 3 frames) Have you considered using JPEG for longer bursts instead? Him: No, never. There's not enough latitude. I do a lot of Photoshop to them. I'm *very* artistic with my photography. Me: Oh.

He said that last thing (I'm *very* artistic with my photography (emphasis his)) with a completely straight face. I wish I could record it and play it back to myself when I'm feeling down, but as old Rose kinda said, "The quote exists now, only in my memory".
