Reasons to love Battle Couples:

-couples that kick ass together, stay together

-you can get those awesome duel fight scenes where someone is shooting someone else while being thrown in the air by the other part of the OTP

-It means you have a reason to write practice sparring fics which almost always devolve into makeouts, ah yes, the perfect lead in

-helping each other improve by giving each other tips and tricks

-competitive battle couples ranking how well the other does in battle

-when one gets injured, the other goes badass to save them, they will fight the enemy, they will fight the enemy’s enemy, they will fight themselves

-one part of the battle couple having to stay behind and waiting for the other to come home, nervous and on edge, and vise versa

-being shit at each other’s weapons if they switch. Or being really good at each other’s weapons. Pick your poison.

-Flirting in the middle of a fight. Because what’s more hot then kicking a baddie in the face then going “so babe, did it hurt when you fell from heaven” “that is a terrible joke” “I think it’s at least a 5/10″

I just love Battle Couples.

Sasosaku Month Day 16- Unexpected Connection

“It’s the End of the F***ing World” AU: (This is a really good show on Netflix btw, you should check it out if you can)

Sasori’s parents died in a car crash when he was young (he was there). Afterwards, his grandmother hides the fact that his parents didn’t make it until the truth comes out week later. He lives with her, and she loves him, but he hates her. Growing up, he thinks he is incapable of emotion.

Sakura’s parents love her dearly, but don’t seem to understand her lately. Her ex boyfriend, Sasuke, disappeared after putting her best friend Naruto in a coma. She feels abandoned when her parents decide to send her to another school (the equivalent of Sunagakure). She lashes out, and thinks people are fake. 

Sakura sees Sasori and decides she likes him, because he’s different. Sasori thinks he is a psychopath, and wants to kill her. He pretends to fall in love with her, and looks forward to stabbing her, to confirm that he is a psychopath.

Instead, she asks him to leave with her. He steals his grandma’s vintage car, and they run off together. He assures himself he is no hurry to kill her (but he keeps putting it off).

Things don’t go as planned, and Sasori ends up killing an actual psychopath while protecting Sakura. Sasori realizes then that he is not an actual psychopath. More drama ensues!

Sasori isn’t quite as passive, but he is a lot like James. 

Unlike Alyssa, Sakura isn’t as rude or brash, but she is angry at the world. This part of the story is what I would change most, and there is plenty of drama I can make up for her.

There were similarities, and ever since I saw season 1, it reminded me of Sasosaku! These are some of my favorite screenshots of them!
