I like growing older
Every decision is mine. I can leave when I want, buy what I want, but it’s so much grander than that.
My thoughts are finally mine. My mothers words echo less and less as I age. There is no rage that isn’t my own in my house. My mood can freely fluctuate in my home. I feel defeated some days but never like I did as a teen.
My mind is thinking more logically. I understand peoples actions better, I have a deeper understanding of who I am and what I want from my days. I get to deep dive into my interests and my time is mine.
