IAS कौन होते हैं? (IAS kise kahte hai)

IAS का full form इंडियन एडमिनिस्ट्रेटिव सर्विस (Indian administrative service) होता है, जिसे हिंदी में भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा का जाता है। यह civil service का सबसे ऊंचा पद होता है जिसके लिए केवल कर्मठ अभ्यर्थियों का ही चयन होता है।

किसी भी ऊंचे पद के लिए केवल IAS पद को ही वरीयता दी जाती है। चाहे वह जिले का अधिकारी हो या सरकार का सचिव तथा जिले में सुरक्षा के बात हो या देश स्तर पर डिफेंस सचिव की बात हो, हमेशा इन पदों के लिए एक्सपीरियंस IAS officer की ही नियुक्ति की जाती है।

IAS officer का चयन UPSC exam के द्वारा किया जाता है, जो exam में सबसे उत्तम रैंक हासिल करता है उन्हे ही IAS officer बनाया जाता है। ये कुछ वर्ष तक IAS की सेवा में नियुक्त रहते हैं लेकिन बाद में इन्हें कलेक्टर के रूप में नियुक्त कर दिया जाता है। 

IAS बनने की पात्रता मापदंड (IAS Eligibility criteria)

शैक्षणिक योग्यता (Qualification quality)

वैसे अभ्यार्थी जो 12वीं पास करने के बाद किसी भी विषय से graduation की डिग्री प्राप्त की है, वे IAS officer बनने के लिए परीक्षा में बैठने योग्य है। यदि अभ्यार्थी डिस्टेंस एजुकेशन या डिस्टेंस कोर्�� से भी graduation की डिग्री हासिल की है तब भी वह इस परीक्षा में बैठने के लिए योग्य है। 

यदि अभ्यार्थी graduation के अंतिम वर्ष में है और उनका

रिजल्ट नहीं आया है, तब भी वे इस परीक्षा में बैठने के लिए योग्य है। वे इस परीक्षा के लिए अप्लाई कर सकते हैं और सबसे जरूरी चीज इस परीक्षा में बैठने के लिए graduation के मार्क्स का कोई महत्व नहीं होता। यदि आप खराब अंकों के साथ केवल पास हुए हैं, तब भी आप इस परीक्षा में बैठने के लिए योग्य है।

आयु (Age Limit)

IAS officer बनने की Age limit अलग-अलग वर्गों के अनुसार रखी गई है। जिसके बारे में पता होना लोगों को बहुत जरूरी है। जैसे कि – 

General कैटेगरी यानी कि सामान्य वर्ग से ताल्लुक रखने वाले उम्मीदवारों की न्यूनतम आयु 21 वर्ष है और अधिकतम 32 वर्ष यानी कि 32 वर्ष से ज्यादा उम्र के लोग इस परीक्षा के लिए योग्य नहीं है। 

OBC कैटेगरी से ताल्लुक रखने वाले उम्मीदवारों की न्यूनतम आयु 21 वर्ष है और अधिकतम आयु 35 वर्ष है।

ST/SC कैटेगरी के उम्मीदवार जिन्हें आरक्षित वर्ग कहा जाता है, उनकी एज लिमिट असीमित है यानी कि वे 21 वर्ष से लेकर 37 वर्ष या उससे अधिक वर्ष तक इस परीक्षा में बैठ सकते हैं।

Attempts 

IAS officer बनने के लिए न केवल age limit तय की गई है बल्कि Attempt ही तय किए गए हैं। कैटेगरी के अनुसार परीक्षा कितनी बार देना है यह निर्धारित किया गया है। जिसके बारे में हम नीचे बता रहे। जैसे – 

General यानी सामान्य वर्ग से ताल्लुक रखने वाले अभ्यार्थी कुल 6 बार UPSC exam दे सकते हैं। 

OBC वर्ग से ताल्लुक रखने वाले अभ्यार्थी कुल 9 बार IAS officer बनने के लिए परीक्षा में बैठ सकते हैं। 

ST/SC यानी कि आरक्षित वर्ग से ताल्लुक रखने वाले उम्मीदवारों के लिए Attempt की कोई सीमा नहीं है यानी कि वे unlimited यह परीक्षा दे सकते हैं।

(And yes, that means he's more comfortable talking about the first murders he committed than his level of comfort with touch. Not that he finds either of the topics particularly fun, to be clear, but...yeah, there's that.)

Post-EoD, he's just starting to get to the letting-his-guard-down stage with a couple people--mainly Nisha, who gets the honor of being his first real friend.
