I’m gonna write a TV show. But without the TV part. It’s actually just a regular story, but I write it like a TV show.

26 chapters per ‘season’, episodic storylines for each chapter, with an overarching plot connecting them all together. Two-parters, three-parters, even the occasional mini-series.

The project is already on its way and it has a name:

Diplomancy

Diplomancy is the story of “self-certified Diplomancer” Charlotte Zheng, a human girl living a world of fantasy and paranormal creatures, who works as a problem solver and dispute resolver in anything regarding non-human creatures.

The story involves a plethora of characters, settings and concepts, included but not limited to:

Bisexual problem-solver girls

Shadow people

Residential disputes

Lesbian half-ghosts

Incorporeal Mafia

Giant tree

Giant beehive on giant tree

Bee people living in giant beehive

People who can control insects

Romantic drama

Political thrillers

Spooky forests

Deep lore

Boring bureaucracy
