As snow begins to cover countless corners of the world, NIKE, Inc. has begun revealing footwear inspired by the “winter wonderland” depicted in films and addressed in songs consumed around this time of year. For its latest proposition, the North American conglomerate has outfitted the iconic Nike Air Force 1 Low in hits of ice blue and with a snowflake hangtag.

Akin to a previously-surfaced Air Max 90, the latest take on Bruce Kilgore’s 40-year-old design indulges in a predominantly greyscale arrangement that allows for the handful of snowflake-inspired details to revel in the spotlight. Suede and leather make up the bulk of the sneaker’s upper, with the latter material’s appearance around the heel donning a debossed snowflake pattern. Profile swooshes, mesh tongues and branding on the upper heel panel deviate from their surroundings in a rich light blue tone that directly nods to the Air Force 1‘s cold weather-muse. Sole units proffer a compelling off-white and grey combination reminiscent of vintage pairs of the Nike Sportswear staple, while the aforementioned hangtag propel the shoes into new territory.

NIKE TO DROP NEW AIR FORCE 1 LOW MODEL, PLT.AF.ORM

New year, new kicks — Nike is set to release an updated version of its classic Air Force 1 Low model. Dubbed PLT.AF.ORM, the design is making its debut in a minimalist “Triple White” colorway.

Maintaining the original silhouette, the shoes arrive with tumbled leather on the upper, which is highlighted with cut-out details on the Swooshes. With added layers and an added groove on the midsoles, the sneakers are given a deconstructed, three-dimensional look. The tonal design is complete with white topstitching, as well as Nike Air Force 1 branding on the tongue. Silver dubraes add a subtle touch of contrast.

Take a closer look above. Priced at $105 USD, the Air Force 1 Low PLT.AF.ORM “Triple White” will release in the coming weeks via Nike’s stores.

NIKE HONORS PARIS WITH AN AIR FORCE 1 MID

According to Nike, the Air Force 1 sells upwards of $800 million USD per year. The iconic design has seen countless iterations since its release in 1982, serving as the canvas for iconic collaborations with brands such as Off-White™, Supreme, COMME des GARÇONS, UNDEFEATED and Louis Vuitton. 2022 marks the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1. As such, sneaker fans can expect to see a bevy of releases including this Air Force 1 Mid “Paris.”

Part of a collection dedicated to iconic cities, the “Paris” comes in tumbled leather in a “Pollen,” “Blue Void,” “Cashmere” and “Green Noise” colorway. Other design details include an embroidered “75” as a callout to the city’s postal code, metal deubrés resembling Parisian street signs, and triangular toe perforations presumably honoring the Louvre.

Look out for the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Paris” to release in Summer 2022 via Nike’s website and select retailers.

NIKE TO RELEASE AIR FORCE 1 HIGH SCULPT IN "GYM RED"

Nike has launched a streamlined version of the Air Force 1 High Sculpt in “Gym Red.” This new version is a reinvention of the model that was introduced in 1982, retaining the original color scheme mostly in the signature “Summit White.”

The upcoming design is crafted with white pebbled leather, which is contrasted with a red Swoosh. Unlike its predecessor, there is no ankle strap, allowing for easy wear and less bulk. The shoe’s sleek collar arrives with touches of suede, while the midsole is in a muted beige color, providing a premium twist to the first sneaker that housed Nike Air.

The Nike WMNS Air Force 1 High Sculpt in “Gym Red” is set to drop on December 15 via SNKRS at 11 p.m. ET. It comes with a $120 USD price tag.

Here's an On-Foot Look at the Nike SB Dunk Low “What The P-Rod”

If one were to write out a list of some of the most impactful partners of Nike (NYSE:NKE +0.11%) , then Paul Rodriguez is certainly a name that deserves to be jotted down. This year, the Nike SB sub-label is honoring him with a special — and extra wild — Nike SB Dunk Low “What The P-Rod” colorway.

Over the years, P-Rod and the Swoosh have released a smorgasbord of sneakers including that of SB Dunk collaborations and signature silhouettes, and this multi-toned variation aims to blend many of those together.

Notable components of to identify here include that of a toe box that calls out the ‘06 P-Rod 1 “Stash”, the elephant print eyestays and mudguards and eyestays which are a homage to the 2005 Air Jordan 1-inspired P-Rod 1 “J-Rod,” and the other toe box which mimics the aesthetic of the P-Rod 1 “Mexican Blanket.” Quilted linings from the P-Rod 2 are strung along and split between red on the left side and blue on the right. Lace dubraes and the outsole color-blocking is adopted from Rodriguez’s more recent Mexican-inspired SB Dunk High that dropped at the top of 2020.

This 4/20-themed iteration of the Nike SB Dunk Low comes dressed in a Racer Blue, Laser Blue, University Blue, and White color scheme. Essentially a SB Dunk Low covered in a handful shades of Blue, details include a leather base, suede overlays and Swooshes. Other details include the mesh tongues, a stoned Blue Raspberry illustration behind the tongue tags, White midsole and Blue rubber outsole round out the main features of the sneaker.

More Nike Dunks Are Restocking This Month

The black and white colorway of the Nike Dunk Lows isn’t the only iterations that are restocking soon. There is also a high-top version of the shoe that will be up for grabs.

Nike confirmed that joining the restock is the Dunk High in the simplistic black and white color scheme predominantly on the leather upper. There’s also a similarly-styled women’s version of the shoe, which features a red Nike tongue tag and white Nike branding on the footbed, while the men’s pair dons a black and white tag with orange hits on the insole. A white midsole and a solid black outsole complete the look.

The restock of the Nike Dunk High in the black and white colorway will take place on Jan. 27 at Nike.com for $115.

Pass-Port to skateboardowa marka z Australii, która niedawno została zaproszona przez Nike SB (ponownie, bo w 2015 roku razem wypuścili Blazer Mid) do zaprojektowania wyjątkowej wersji butów Nike SB Dunk High.

Rezultatem tej wymiany doświadczeń i pomysłów jest wyjątkowa wersja wspomnianego wyżej modelu. Koszykarski but z lat ’80 został przedstawiony w formie… buta roboczego. Skórzana cholewka została zastąpiona konstrukcją, która opiera się na wytrzymałym na rozdarcia ripstop nylonie oraz włochatym zamszu.

Ten pierwszy materiał, który został zabarwiony na pomarańczowo, okupuje boczne panele, kołnierz oraz górę toeboxu. Natomiast zamsz w kolorze zielonym to panele doszywane wokół toeboxu oraz na tyle cholewki. Z tego samego materiału wykonano również oczka na sznurówki. Co ciekawe, jedynym skórzanym elementem wydaje się być brązowy Swoosh okupujący boczne sektory cholewki.

Teraz przejdźmy do detali, bo to one odpowiadają za dopieszczenie projektu i końcowy charakter tego wydania. Niech Wasz wzrok w pierwszej kolejności powędruje na górę cholewki. Zobaczycie tam dwie pętelki (na języku i zapiętce), które mają ułatwić zakładanie butów. Dochodzą do tego dwa metalowe oczka na okrągłe sznurówki, dzięki którym udało się uzyskać roboczą stylistykę. Na koniec wspomnimy, że na boku pięty widzimy robotnika trzymającego mini Swoosh niczym łopatę lub kosę na polu.

Wszystko to zostało postawione na czarnej podeszwie, przy czym jej spód jest półprzezroczysty i skrywa barwy przypominające skorupę żółwia.

Obie strony tej kolaboracji nie zdradziły jeszcze oficjalnej daty premiery, ale jak tylko zdobędziemy więcej informacji to od razu damy Wam znać.

New images have surfaced of the vibrant Nike SB Dunk Low “Bart Simpson” which will be releasing later this year. Following the release of the “Homer” Dunk Low from 2004 and the “Marge” Dunk High from 2008, Nike SB will be giving us another Simpsons-inspired Dunk this time with this Bart Simpson pair.
