if you hired a galapagos finch as a linecook it would perfectly evolve a beak to optimally smoke cigarettes behind the dumpsters

I highly recommend playing Death Stranding if you got a system to play it on
it’s set in this post apocalyptic world where everyone turns into a nuclear explosion ghost after death and the rain makes you and everything else old and for 30-40 years no one’s been able to do anything to combat it except bunker down underground and incinerate the dead. People are isolated because, wouldn’t you be if your neighbour dying meant your city turned into a crater?
but in spite of this all there’s hope that we can connect people again. The NPCs are relentlessly optimistic that we can manage the explosion ghosts if we work together. So much of it is just, building up small contributions and having them pile up and before you know it, you got something big going on. You’re the big damn hero (a guy with insane core strength who doesn’t die) tackling the (literally) heavy stuff but the NPCs are all eager to contribute whatever they can. Here’s some custom boots. A protoype engine. A non-lethal ranged weapon. A place to stay. A bridge to cross a river. A parcel of materials to build with. A generator just as your truck battery is dying. A good luck charm. A remote operated surgical table. A sign that says Keep On Keeping On.
I think it’s important to remember that the small stuff matters. It helped me a lot during the pandemic. The world is heavy and not everyone can lift 100kg, but we can all do something even if it’s just some words to remind people we’re in it together.
Also, Trump canonically died in a ghost explosion and was utterly annihilated down to the atoms.
#its a game u would not expect to be fun to play given that u r delivering packages but its very good#i loved the online elements like building the highway that was awesome

Grieve AND organize.
Good article by David Hunter on how to survive the Trump presidency, both on the personal and on the political plane.

Especially on (US) election Day remember the Palestinian cause. Both candidates participate in a genocide against Palestinians, either win is a loss. You can't celebrate or mourn the results without remembering over 43,000 innocents have been killed thus far as a result of the genocide. A vote for either candidate is a vote for the deaths of Palestinians. Neither one is a moral choice, there is no lesser of two evils. There are two fascists on the ballot and either way we are inherently complicit in this genocide as USAmericans.

I need more people need to understand intersex people are very relevant in discussions of moving away from gendered terms when discussing organs.
Yes, not exclusively referring to women when you talk about something specific to ovaries does in fact, correctly include trans men who have them. but there are cisgender men with ovaries. who are intersex. there are cis people who have "out of place" organs who can yes, still be effected usually by said medical things.
topics like ovarian cancer is not a women's issue, but its not a 'female' issue either. please remember that there are cisgender intersex people included- its not a strictly transgender topic. There are cisgender women with testes. there are intersex people with "external" genitals that look one way, but with "internal" reproductive organs.
When you say "people with testes" youre not just helping include transgender people, but its very, very much an intersex topic. Please remember to at least recognize us, because i know asking to be included is far too often, just too big of a question.

Gonna be fr grown adult queers should know better than to engage in crazy fear mongering telling other people it’s over and we’re all gonna be sent to camps and lose our rights and be criminalized and whatever like hey how about don’t tell a group of people with unbelievably high suicide rates that there’s no hope and life is over
