Re-emerging

I’m back.. Nothing too new about me. College student. Writing a Wattpad book. I’ve been to happiness and now I’m sad again wanting someone or something to write to.

Would you rather be murdered or raped?

I'm not sure how we got on this topic, but my lunch tablemates and I got into a heated discussion about rape, victim blaming, and murderers among other things. We were bouncing thoughts off each other and every single thing that was said was either agreed with at face value, or was elaborated on.

My friend asked the group, "Would you rather be a victim to a serial murdered or rapist?" She answered her own question and stated she would rather be raped. I personally would rather be murdered and my reasoning has many points.

Attempted: Stigma with it

Victim blaming doesn't exist

Mourning for your death

Attempted: You're sheltered and protected

I explained this to the table, and I got four solemn nods. The friend who posed the original question thought about it and also agreed.

TL;DR: WE WOULD RATHER BE MURDERED THAN RAPED
