We watched Brain Dead last night. The gore in that movie is out of control. I can't decide whether that's made better or worse by the fact we were watching it a shitty Japanese bootleg.

The other night we saw A Cure For Wellness. All in all- a very cool movie, especially in terms of aesthetics and visuals. It's a very well-shot film. Story-wise, it's a tad complex and confusing, but it seems to draw from places of Lovecraft, Hammer Horror, and 1930s universal horror. I do recommend seeing this movie. Expect a long movie, but also look forward to some wonderfully cringe-worthy moments, lush visuals, and one bizarre tale.

We added quite a few gems to our horror movie collection. A lot of them are classics that neither me, or my s/o have ever watched. I'm pretty stoked. I love my 80s horror movies.
