The rabbit-hole went straight on like a tunnel for some way, and then dipped suddenly down, so suddenly that Alice had not a moment to think about stopping herself before she found herself falling down a very deep well. Either the well was very deep, or she fell very slowly, for she had plenty of time as she went down to look about her and to wonder what was going to happen next.

I am still 100% behind Caroline Winkler's decor idea that if you have lots of clutter in your space that you can't just tidy away and forget, get a nice-looking tray for each area and put the crap there.
It helps the space look more contained and organized because there is clearly the space for Stuff and then a splace to be nice and clean and not cluttered with random crap. And theoretically it makes it easier to someday weed through all the crap, which is still conveniently there.
But also, which I find most charming, when you have somebody coming by for coffee and you want to actually clean off your entire coffee table? You just move the tray. Go hide it somewhere. Put it under the table. Whatever. And then bam! Instant clean!

You know what, let's do this.
I know there's a decent percentage of Fandom Old Guard who are over here these days, but it can't be all of us. I want to know how useful a comparison it would be.
Like to numbers, reblog to sample size.

I really love Janeway, but you know who would never leave behind his mutant lizard babies? Benjamin Sisko.
He would love those lizard babies. He would teach those lizard babies to play baseball.

I know the holidays can be stressful, so this Threshold Day try to keep in mind what really matters. It's not about the gifts or the shopping, it's about breaking the warp barrier. Threshold Day is meant to be a time of transformation (into a lizard), love (for your captain/lizard wife), and spending time with your family (of lizard babies) before you abandon them on a planet forever and never think about them again.
Happy Threshold Day everyone, and don't forget to leave milk and cookies out for Tom Paris as he travels at warp 10 and exists simultaneously at every point in the universe!

Happy 29th birthday to Threshold, an Emmy award winning episode of Star Trek: Voyager in which a character rips his tongue out, kidnaps his captain, hyper-evolves into a salamander with her, and both has and promptly abandons their slimy salamander babies.

I'm just learning that apparently Americans don't know who Robbie Williams is???? WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF ROBBIE WILLIAMS!??!?!?!
Shes the One?????? Better Man???????? Kids??? Rock DJ??? Motherfucking ANGELS!??!?!?! ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS?!?!
Apparently Americans are going to see "the monkey movie" and only learning afterwards that it's a biopic based on a real life musician???? HELLO???????? HOW????
Anyway. Here's 125,000 people singing along to Angels.
#I was not aware there was a movie#I only know him from Rock DJ which did chart in the US#and I vividly remember the music video#at the time I was a regular viewer of VH1 and MTV and I would have no idea who he was if that hadn't been the case#but the video was certainly designed to leave an impression#If any other songs made it over here I have no knowledge of them
