I finished 7 seeds why I didn't know of this amazing manga before, everyone should give it a read if you love sci-fi.

Been thinking again about the manga 7 Seeds and man I am not in the right headspace to give it a re-read but I so would recommend it to everyone.

It's beautiful, it's poignant, it's fucking tragic, it's hopeful and it's unbearably sad. It's about messy people surviving the end of the world and trying to keep on living and learning to stand up over and over again after being beaten down by a new world that doesn't care about them. It's about how trauma shapes people differently, and it's not about who's better or who's worse for it (though you will definitely hate and love the characters in this story), it's about how they let that trauma colour their outlook on the world, of people, and whether they strive to move past it or be shackled by it in quite possibly the worst place ever.

It's gorgeously drawn, creative and chilling, and does not hold back the unmitigated power of nature and evolution. Read it, experience it, think about it for the next ten years.
