How does ICT affect on my daily lives?
Good day everyone it is my first blog since birth. Based on my experience I will detail my perspective about How does ICT affect on my daily lives?... By adding subquestion,. What is ICT? For me ICT is Information Communication Technology or (Makabagong teknolohiya). It is the new way or fast way of communication through technology. It can help me to wider knowledge, help to gaining and accessing information.
As a student it helps me to get information to my assignment, project, and research. But, some people do something wrong. Like, posting a fake news in social media. What is the advantages and disadvantages of ICT in our daily lives? One of the advantages of using ICT in learning or Teaching Processes. Information and Communication Technologies have recently gained groundswell of interest. It is a significant research area for many scholars around. Their nature has highly changed the face of education through the technology. One of disadvantage of ICT is spreading a fake news in social media or cyber bullying through social media there are some of the advantage and disadvantage of having social media or in short belong to the ICT world. Last time I was addicted in game of ml, it is one of the reason why I having a failing grades. My parent is disappointed to me because of having a failing grades. We know having a new and fast information technology is very important but, it is defend to you. If how you use it!.Let's back and focus on the disadvantage of having ICT. Spreading a fake news(maling balita) many of its victims. Lack of Security , though ICT may have changed for the good and become more convenient, it also brought along privacy and security issues. From email hacking by the hacker, phone signal interception. Some people are worried that personal information may become public. Social media the best example of this is the someone’s info is open to everyone including the bad ones. Addiction on the other hand, mostly teenagers and young children’s that uses it can or may affect their mental and physical health by watching a porno and playing violent games. They became addicted to the gadgets gaming consoles forgetting about outside activities and communication in the society. Second is cyber bullying. It is so easy now to bully and threaten others in social network pages that this has become much easier for internet users all over the world. They don’t realize what the consequences are to those reading/hearing unpleasant comments. In the recent past there have been so many investigation cases regarding cyber bullying with lethal consequences. And lastly the reliance on technology people don’t bother to read or write without computers anymore in same time losing abilities of hand writing, reading books. In summary ICT can have both good or bad effects but through being responsible, in moderation and being mature enough will avoid hurting someone’s feelings in the internet or other forms of electronic communication that belongs to the ICT world. Having a new generation or modern technology it is an easier way to communicate to your love one's.
