semi hiatus

Sorry to have run off friends! Other muses have taken up my time.

I’m finally active on @iamnotjareth again-- the babe from Jim Henson’s Labyrinth.

I’ve also got a pair of shiny new blogs-- @mortalnotmagic -- Dylan Piper from the Halloweentown series and @wegotaping -- Arthur Nielsen from Warehouse 13.

I’ll try to make time for James but right now these muses have most of my attention. So follow them if you’d like!

fun fact: after harry was born, james would spend his time trying to encourage harry to say ‘dada’ or any variant thereof. he was never truly certain what sort of fatherly title he wanted to wear. be it papa, dad, daddio, daddy, etc. 

still, he was terribly desperate to hear harry say dada. the day he did-- the man cried. then he called over his friends and had harry say it again.

james potter is the sort of father to carry an entire wallet full of photos of his son-- to brag endlessly about even the simplest things he’d done. harry was his pride and joy. he dreamed of watching his boy grow up-- and would occasionally get ahead of himself-- asking lily what sort of name his grandkids should call him.

he refused to let the war keep him from happiness-- from a family. he would hold onto hope with his dying breath.
