Sketchbook addition:
metro passengers, and cafe customers
Sketching strangers, is basically finding a bunch of people minding their own business- and being the only one in the room surreptitiously minding EVERYONEs business.😂

New addition to the sketchbook, made while listening to Painkillers by Rainbow Kitten Suprise:
“She rips the halos off of angels for the fun of it, if all she does is smile at you, run”

Mildly confusing people one sketchbook page at a time 😂
When someone asks me “why did you draw that?” Or “why is there a random boat there?” Or “that looks kind of out of place, huh?”
It’s a funny little reminder that when I look at my sketchbook, there’s a cohesiveness to it for me, that other people don’t experience. When I see “what I drew that time I went exploring Old-port”
Other people see a random collection of sketches with not much rhyme or reason as to why they’ve been clumped together.

Sort of a miscellaneous mix of panels for these pages, but with the rare and dreaded addition of colour 😂

Sketchbook panels done mostly of strangers in various settings.
As an introverted person, I have to say, I love that people are always on their phones.
For my part, I dread the moment someone looks up to realize I’m drawing them.
However, the rise of the iPhone has made it so everyone’s far too distracted to notice when they’re being scrutinized for a sketch.
So, thank you Mr Jobs for your service to the antisocial art community 😂

Fighting with the blank space of the page.
The latest instalment in the sketchbook ;)

Walking along the canal I came across a man who despite the biting mid-winter chill, was stood taking in the cloudy grey view of the city, comfortably enjoying a cigarette.
I took out my phone to do a quick sketch.
This is the final product, (which I finished later, having escaped the cold) Not a masterpiece by any stretch, but good enough.
;)
