You couldn’t help the smile underneath the warm, afternoon sun, enjoying the picnic date that you had surprised Natasha with. “Hook and the moles were more than happy to help out, so you could take some time off for yourself.”

“Those kids.” The smile Natasha wore spoke of how touched she was. “I’ll have to thank them when we go back.”

A light breeze brought the smell of grass and flowers, making Natasha and you sigh in content. “I always dreamed that the eternal freeze would finally subside and all of belabog would get to experience something like this again.”

“Now it’s a reality that we can experience any time we want.”

That made her smile grow. “Yes, you’re right. But for now, let’s enjoy this picnic.”

“Wow! You were right Asta! Stargazing on the Herta Space station really is another experience!” Asta had promised you that this star gazing experience would be unlike anything else that you would experience.

“Actually…there's another reason I wanted to have this experience with you.”

“What?” Curiosity peaked, you tore your gaze away from the telescope that Asta had bought so the both of you could see the stars and constellations.

You noticed that Asta was starting to fidget and looking nervous. Before you could ask her if everything was alright, she spoke first.

“I really, really like you, [Name.] More than a friend. And I completely understand if you want to be just friends-“

“Asta.” You reached for her hands and held them in your own. “I really like you too.”

“As a friend?”

“So much more than that.”

“Really?”

“Yes, really.”

“Then, can we continue stargazing as a couple?”
