i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping

Just one of my cosplay realizations as I've been doing this hobby for 9 - 10 years now.

Looking at my genderbend tokyo ghoul kaneki, my first ever cosplay from 2015, made me realize how much i will enjoy this hobby bcs of the people I've met and how it made me look.

Now looking at my shiina beach photo and seeing the differences from my kaneki, damn I've rlly went a long way from my skills.

Looking at my attempt for aesop of idv from 2020, where i started to be more active in cosplay again bcs i had to stop for a while and can't even buy a new wig and such, i just decided to use what i had like the usual and try to spark that passion in me again.

Thank god i did bcs it made me realize how i also like looking and feeling masculine, it gave me such a feeling of comfort to the point I can proudly say Im genderfluid!

Saying it again, but thank god, i got into cosplay bcs of the confidence it gave me, the make-up skill i picked up from it, and other skills that i managed to get from this hobby. Hoping my passion doesn't die rn bcs i know my life is just starting and I'll get more opportunities from this🥺
