After seeing a list of pretty much only frameworks, with no actual learning resources I decided to throw together an actual list of resources. I will admit my personal focus has always been front & backend web, so this list may be a little biased. I’m sure I missed some and skipped some, sorry.

========== PERSONAL TIPS ==========
// Stay hydrated. I recommend Mt Dew, Monster, or Red Bull //The last line was sarcasm, these drinks do not hydrate you. Drink water for hydration. Green tea, coffee and dark chocolate can be good (moderation matters) sources for an extra energy boost. // Comment heavy, comment often. You may know what you’re doing at 4:30am, but when you revisit that code in 2 months you can quickly become your own wost enemy. // When switching languages, remember your syntax. + is not . // A semicolon can make or break you // KISS - Keep It Simple, Stupid. What seems to be the most complex problem is usually the easiest solution; e.g. after debugging for an hour, remember you changed a default in your table from 0 to NULL and that is why our code is breaking … not that I’ve ever done that; especially not last night.

Progress 5/7/17 and 4/7/17
I feel like I’ve been productive today!! I completed my desktop and mobile wireframes and had useful feedbacks on them. I completed my video resume script as well. Even if chores is unrelated, I managed to do laundry today and squeezing it in between work. I managed to hang my clothes faster, in less than 30 minutes, better than my previous timings.
I think watching animes that influences and motivate me to do work are good. I think I will watch shows related to those as well.
I feel better knowing that I am indeed doing work even if I know I’m quite behind schedule, but I know I can get things done.
Today, 5/7/17, I will be doing some video shoots for my video resume. Yoshi!

So, I’ve decided to make a Project Planner Printable! (Available in A4 and Letter-size!)
This is kind of just a helpful sheet to get all of your project’s most important information all in one place! It’s useful to refer to for quick questions and, with the different sections, it can help keep track of things that you may need to include in your process book (such as how many phases were in the project according to the schedule, what was due for those phases, and your briefs).
I’ve also put some color to it, but there is also a blank version available for you to decorate yourself!
Google Drive folder for the files
Please reblog if you use them and let me know what you think!
Mentioned or tag me if you take a photo with it written on or used in any studyspo pictures! I will gladly reblog if I see you using my printable, of course.
If you’d like any changes to the printable, send an ask!
Hope you find this useful!

things I learn about myself #1
31/05/17
Today, I learned something new about myself. Well, not exactly something new, I knew I had it in me for a long time, just that I was not confident about it. As much as I do love technology, I love electronics as well and programming. Let me explain:
Today in class, I had to build my own alarm that was light sensor dependent. I managed to get the code (online yes, a source code nonetheless), and managed to wire the thing myself perfectly. Next came was my friend who was frustrated with the code not working. I could not debug her code but I figured there was a better way to code so that her idea would work. I took my codes, took another base code, combined and modified the code as well. It worked.
I saw the codes quite differently but similar to my lecturer. I see them as blocks that just needed to be shifted around and tempered with to get the desired outcome. and the way the works. The way I see wires connecting, I see them connect directly to required pins. If they were redirected on other parts of the breadboard or PCB, I can still see them connected directly to required pins.
It’s a nice thing to know that I was already capable of programming or wiring electronics. My weakness is not knowing how to calculate and be precise about my methods when combining components and power.

“Twenty Grammes” 10/5/17
It’s Vesak Day and I didn’t want to stay home and do nothing. I went out to try a cafe called Twenty Grammes. I would say that the food and drinks were quite average. What’s nice about this cafe is that they have white marble tables. Teas here were served in glass tea pots and tiny glass tea-cups which were all see through.
I ordered mocha and my friend ordered a s’mores waffles with triple C ice cream. I would say the mocha that I ordered was rather very bitter, it didn’t taste as chocolate as I expected. The froth on top was rather very thick, it lacked milk in it to be a little more smooth. It’s deep bitter flavour didn’t leave a bitter aftertaste or a sour one. However, when left to settle on it’s own for a few minutes, it starts to become grainy and thick. I think it wasn’t filtered so much when it was made. Nonetheless, it was okay, not too good, not too bad.
The waffle was quite pricey for its average taste. The ice cream didn’t melt too quickly but I guess it was a gelato. It had chocolate chips, crushed oreo and maybe a chocolate cream in it. The waffle came with nearly melt marshmallows but not was not as pliable when eaten or as stretchy as I had expected. The waffle on the other hand was fluffy and with a crispy, but the taste to it was pretty average. There I think it was pretty average, though quite pricey but I guess that’s because the ice cream was the best quality of the entire waffle set.
It’s quite a cosy place, with loud acoustic music through the speakers. I’d come back here if I’m looking for cake perhaps, which I have yet to try. I might try the tea too, I like teapots and teacups to try with it.

I know that this OST is from Nier (gestalt), and I love it so much. The lyrics have no meaning, it’s a made up language and yet I feel so much connection to the melody’s tune. It sounds sad and melancholic, and to me it’s a beautiful song.

“The Maramalde Pantry” 4/5/17
The Marmalade Pantry is located at Ion Orchard, so it’s quite the high end cafe. I would say the set up of the cafe and location was really beautiful, it’s simplistic. It had a modern classy feel to it.
I ordered Cappuccino along with a serving of Hazelnut cupcake. Jas ordered pasta with crab and Parmesan cheese and kiwi mint smoothie. Later, I was surprised that she ordered the dessert sampler.
The cappuccino was quite normal to me, and it is mostly coffee over milk. It isn’t exactly as sweet as I think it would be, I feel like I should have ordered mocha instead, it would have a high chocolate ratio to the coffee. the Hazelnut cupcake had an interesting topping of chocolate hazelnut cream ganache(I think?), it was thick and the top cracks a little when cut into. The flavour is similar to Nutella, but the concentration of hazelnut flavour is there. The chocolate cake in the cupcake was very dense, it made me full very easily. What’s nice is that it’s not very sweet, it’s kind of like chocolate milk that’s made into a cake but with lots of cocoa.
Jas’s pasta was interesting. It had a spicy tang to it. The Parmesan melts nicely with the pasta, and it had a salty-sour aftertaste. It had real crab in it as well, which is nice. (Word of advice, this dish can cause a hole in your wallet) The Kiwi smoothie was okay, not exactly concentrated in flavour.
The Dessert Sampler IS AMAZING. Okay, it sounds exaggerated, yet it IS one of the things you come to appreciate when you get to try it. The sampler came with a chocolate cake, pear bread pudding, sticky date cake with toffee sauce, lemoncurd tart and fresh cream pot with fruits. I have no words for it. It’s heavenly, especially the stick date cake with toffee sauce and the pear bread pudding.

“The Lab” 20/4/17
This is the second time I’ve been to The Lab with Jasmine. this time, I ordered Latte rather than piccolo because I don’t want a short span of strong flavour and a small quantity. Jas ordered a watermelon, apple, kiwi smoothie. And finally, I ordered Ondeh Ondeh Cake.
The Lab has it’s own nice concept of being almost like a laboratory, except you get to play with your food. By play, I mean you infuse your own food like the latte below. the shot of latte is served in syringe, stuck inside a glass beaker frothy iced milk. You have to squeeze the coffee out. It’s an interesting experience, though I think I rather not do much to my coffee other than just drink it and taste it straight. I tried Jas’s smoothie and it’s kinda.... eh. I’m not one for fruits to begin with.
The Ondeh Ondeh cake was mildly sweet, not as sweet as the real Ondeh Ondeh itself. Again, the cake had a thick cream infused with coconut flavour, the who cake was made with desiccated coconut and topped with more coconut shavings. It was strangely VERY filling and it took me nearly two hours trying to finish it.
I like the atmosphere in the cafe, it’s suited for working and doodling (which is what Jas is doing).

“Stateland” and “Brother Bird” 25/3/17
Stateland and Brother bird are two different companies that work in hand together in the same cafe. While Stateland serves meals and savoury dishes, Brother Bird serves cold and sweet desserts. Shown in the picture is mochi donut topped with soft serve buttercream ice cream, topped with flavoured granola. It’s not exactly my first time at Brother bird, but this is my favourite dish of all time. I remember the first time I came here with Jas, and I ordered the exact same thing but they served it bigger.
I have to save, I really really love this dish so much. It’s dangerously sweet and very addictive, yet very filling. As much as one person can finish this, it’s good to be shared by two people.

"The Lab” 24/3/17
This was my first experience at The Lab. I ordered Piccolo Latte without any idea what Piccolo meant HAHAHA. But it was good! It didn’t have a sour afterr taste but the strong flavour was there to wake me up. The cake on the left is Thai Tea Cake, it had very thick tea flavoured cream that had tea leaves mixed inside and the heavy pound cake also infused with tea and had the texture of very soft graham.

“Saint Marc Cafe” 17/3/17
So on my birthday, we went to Saint Marc cafe. I ordered Chocoberry Celebration and a butterscotch latte. The chocoberry celebration isn’t exactly that sweet, but it looked amazing before my eyes. It a mountain of sweet cold. The butterscotch latte isn’t exactly sweet, it was fragrant as butterscotch was (I can guess that they just use butterscotch essence and not really flavouring). Still, it was an amazing birthday celebration.

“?” and “Artistry” 3/8/17
Unfortunately, I don’t remember where did I take the first picture from, the I ordered a shot of Machiato and a cake(supposedly the cake of the day, but since there was no longer any stock, they compensated with their potted tiramisu cake). If I’m not wrong, my friend Jas ordered a cup of americano?
This was the first time I ordered a shot of coffee. It had a sour after taste, not exactly to my liking, yet still good.
This is the Artistry’s pulled duck pasta, along with my friend’s order of white wine. I bought cake as well but I couldn’t finish it so much. It was a chocolate pound cake with peanut ganache and reese cups in bits.
The pulled duck pasta was good, but not exactly the best pasta dish. A little dry but the flavour is really good. Definitely a new experience for me.

Cafe Thursday!
I will be starting a new page called Cafe Thursday! I will be logging which cafes have I gone to and what have I tried! the reason why it’s name is Cafe Thursdays is because most of the time the cafes that I’ve gone to are on Thursdays and it’s my favourite day of the week as well. Stay Tuned!
