Polished and Productive: The It Girl Playbook for Organization. 💋☕️
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
- The Power of a Chic Planner 📄 Your planner is more than just dates and deadlines; it’s your daily sidekick. Opt for one that’s stylish and functional—think sleek leather covers, minimalist designs, and plenty of space for your goals. Use it to jot down tasks, appointments, and those brilliant ideas you get on the go.
- Create a Morning Routine That Sets the Tone 📋 Start your day with a quick, five-minute planning session. Outline your top three priorities, a to-do list, and a motivational quote. This mini habit keeps you focused and ready to conquer the day ahead.
- Declutter Your Digital Space 💻 Your phone and laptop should be as chic as your outfit. Organize your apps into folders, clear out your camera roll, and set a wallpaper that inspires you. Keep your inbox clean by unsubscribing from emails that no longer serve you—it’s like a digital detox.
- Capsule Wardrobe, but for Your Desk 🖋️ Keep your workspace minimalist and clutter-free. Think of it like a capsule wardrobe: only the essentials, but each item should be purposeful and aesthetically pleasing. A sleek pen holder, a chic planner, and a scented candle are all you really need.
- Time Blocking: Your Secret Weapon 🗓️ An It Girl knows that multitasking is out, and time blocking is in. Set specific times for studying, working, and breaks. This method keeps you in control of your schedule, so you can slay your to-do list without feeling overwhelmed.
- Organize Your Thoughts with Brain Dumps 📓 Feeling overwhelmed? Do a quick brain dump—grab a notebook and write down everything on your mind. It’s like a reset button for your brain, clearing the clutter so you can focus on what truly matters.
- Weekly Reset Ritual 🕊️ Dedicate one day a week to reset. This is your time to clean your space, plan for the week ahead, and refresh your mindset. Light a candle, put on a playlist, and make this ritual something you look forward to.
- Stay Inspired with a Vision Board 🌆 Keep your goals front and center with a vision board. Whether digital or physical, fill it with images, quotes, and aesthetics that align with your dream life. It’s a daily reminder of what you’re working towards and why you’re putting in the effort.

a gilmores girl daily routine:
hi angels! with september drawing to a close i cant stop rewatching gilmore girls - such a cozy show i wish i lived in stars hollow! here is a little daily routine inspired by Rory Gilmore and the aesthetics of Gilmore girls.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AM ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
wake up at 6:30am.
pick out outfit and book for day.
have a shower, using vanilla or autumnal scented body washes etc.
dress and pack bag for school/academia.
have a cosy breakfast such as oatmeal, french toast or pancakes alongside a coffee (or a chai tea if you dont love caffeine!).
clean teeth, do skincare and light makeup.
style hair - add a cute headband or pin the sides like Rory often does.
journal, light a candle and read over notes or any relevant material for your classes.
go to school/whatever academic institute you attend.
PM ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
go to a cute coffee shop and study with a friend!
head home.
change, put on a cute jumper.
finish off any work or homework left.
make dinner, such as a comforting soup with sourdough toast or a salmon, broccoli and rice bowl.
have a warm, comforting bath, try using a bath bomb or cute autumn themed product such as a body scrub.
have a cup of tea and read a book for a little bit.
watch a favourite show under some blankets and get cozy!
brush teeth and do skincare before bed.
do five minutes of journalling.
do some light stretching and yoga before bed!
head to bed and get a nice early night.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
bake a cute autumnal treat, such as pumpkin loaf or apple pie muffins.
take cute photos.
visit a library or book shop.
go on a walk round a local park or green space!

Mastering academic excellence
Becoming an academic weapon is about more than just studying hard, it’s about studying smart.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. The power of a minimalist study space
Your study environment plays a crucial role in your ability to concentrate and absorb information. A cluttered desk or disorganized room can lead to distractions, stress, and reduced productivity. On the other hand, an orderly and minimalist space promotes clarity of thought and focus.
Why Minimalism Matters
Reduces Distractions A minimalist setup limits visual and mental distractions. With fewer items in your field of vision, your brain can focus more on the task at hand.
Promotes Calmness An organized space creates a sense of calm, reducing stress and anxiety, which are common barriers to effective studying.
Enhances Efficiency Knowing exactly where your materials are saves time and keeps you in the flow of your work, avoiding interruptions caused by searching for misplaced items.
How to Create the Ideal Study Space
Declutter Regularly Keep only essential items on your desk. Store books, papers, and other materials neatly in drawers or shelves.
Personalize Mindfully Add a few personal touches, like a plant or a motivational quote, but avoid overloading your space with unnecessary objects.
Ensure Comfort Choose a comfortable chair, good lighting, and a desk at the right height to prevent physical discomfort during long study sessions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Mastering active learning techniques
Active learning is the cornerstone of effective studying. Unlike passive methods, such as simply reading or highlighting, active learning engages multiple areas of your brain, enhancing comprehension and retention.
Key Active Learning Techniques
Summarization After reading a section of your textbook or attending a lecture, summarize the main points in your own words. This forces you to process the information deeply, improving understanding and memory.
Self-Testing Regularly quiz yourself on the material. This not only reinforces your knowledge but also highlights areas where you need further review. Tools like flashcards or apps such as Anki can be particularly effective.
Teaching Others Explaining concepts to others is one of the best ways to solidify your understanding. This could be done with a study partner, in a group setting, or even by teaching an imaginary audience.
Mind Mapping Create visual representations of the material, such as diagrams or mind maps. This technique helps you see connections between ideas and organizes complex information into a more digestible format.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. Study aids for enhanced learning
Study aids are tools and resources that can support and enhance your learning process. When used correctly, they can make studying more efficient and effective.
Types of Study Aids:
Flashcards Ideal for memorization, flashcards help reinforce knowledge through active recall and spaced repetition. Digital flashcards allow for easy organization and accessibility on the go.
Mind Maps These visual tools help break down complex concepts and illustrate relationships between ideas, making it easier to grasp and remember large amounts of information.
Practice Tests Taking practice exams familiarizes you with the format and types of questions you might encounter, reducing test anxiety and highlighting areas for improvement.
Educational Apps Numerous apps cater to various aspects of studying, from organization (Notion, Evernote) to subject-specific learning (Duolingo for languages).
How to Use Study Aids Effectively
Incorporate Them Regularly Don’t wait until the last minute to use study aids. Regular integration into your study routine ensures continuous reinforcement of material.
Customize Your Tools Tailor flashcards, mind maps, and other aids to suit your learning style and the specific material you need to master.
Combine Methods Use a mix of study aids to address different types of content and to keep your study sessions dynamic and engaging.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Staying Healthy
MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANO
The ancient adage "mens sana in corpore sano," meaning "a healthy mind in a healthy body," underscores the importance of physical well-being in achieving academic success. Neglecting your health can lead to burnout, decreased cognitive function, and lower academic performance.
Physical Health and Academic Performance
Nutrition A balanced diet fuels your brain, improving concentration, memory, and energy levels. Incorporate brain-boosting foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, and fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
Exercise Regular physical activity increases blood flow to the brain, enhances mood through the release of endorphins, and reduces stress. Even short, daily exercise sessions can make a significant difference in your mental clarity and stamina.
Sleep Adequate sleep is essential for memory consolidation and cognitive function. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night to ensure you are well-rested and ready to tackle your studies.
Mental Health and Academic Success
Stress Management Practice mindfulness techniques such as meditation or deep breathing to manage stress. Regular breaks during study sessions can also prevent burnout.
Work-Life Balance Ensure you have time for relaxation and social activities. A balanced life contributes to mental well-being, which in turn supports academic success.
Positive Mindset Cultivate a growth mindset, viewing challenges as opportunities for growth rather than as obstacles. This perspective not only enhances resilience but also keeps you motivated in your academic pursuits.

a small guide on how i battle my essays! (click on an image to view it clearer)
(keep in mind: i’m an english major so a majority of my essays are literature-focused!)
these are just some of the methods i want to share that work for me when i write my innumerable amount of essays! i’m definitely a huge planner so it’s no secret that i spend a lot of time on an essay. if you’re a deadline fighter, these tips might not necessarily be helpful (especially the handwriting one). but i hope this gives you an insight on how i write my essays! 🌈

1/100 days of productivity - 23.09.24
Today, I realized that productivity isn’t about pushing yourself to exhaustion or glorifying the hustle. It’s subjective, deeply personal, and varies from day to day.
True productivity leaves you energized, not drained. It’s about finding balance, doing meaningful work, and ending the day with a sense of fulfillment rather than burnout.
This journey is not about doing more for the sake of it, but doing what matters in a way that feels sustainable.
So here we go-
Cleaned my room—every corner 🌼
Compared CPA and CFA syllabuses 📖
Chose prep courses for my master's 🙇‍♀️
Created designs for my business 👩‍💻
Prayed and journaled 🩵🪴🧿
📖 What you are looking for is in the library by Michiko Aoyama
Love and peace 🩵🧿
