Grumpy man finds a pumpkin (Moon 5) Part 2. END.

Jayfeather is out gathering herbs on his own, a bit away from Lionblaze who was gathering moss. Large ears swivel when he hears something. A kitten mew?

"Did you hear that?" He calls to his brother. Knowing Lionblaze was a good few steps away.

"No? Where is it coming from?"

Jayfeather gestures his brother over, and soon feels the shifting of the earth under his paws from his much larger brother approaching. Shortly after the thick pelt brushes against his own.

He points his muzzle in the direction he heard the sound, and they walk in that direction side to side.

Jayfeather had been born blind. He could get around pretty well on his own. But, the area was still on the newer side to him, and he was going to investigate something unknown. His brothers help was useful in this situation.

"It..Its a kit." Lionblaze meows.

Jayfeather opens his mouth and inhales. Trying to locate the kit. Soon he faces the kit, nd dips his head low to be less intimidating. He knows he and his brother are considered tall.

After speaking with the kit they discover his name is Pumpkin and his mother went to sleep and hasnt woken back up. Jayfeather crouches next to the little one while Lionblaze checks.

The kit babbles on and on about nonsense, and he sits with him.

Lionblze returns, and Jayfeather hums softly, tilting his head in that direction. Lionblaze stepped purposefully on twigs when around Jayfether, which he appreciated.

"She's gone. It looks like there was a growth under her fur on her stomach. The rest of her looked like fur draped over bone."

Jayfeather nods. "A parasitic lump. I've been told about them but never encountered one before. From what I've been been told, there was not much chance. "

He turns his head to the kit. "Little one, I am sorry to tell you this but she will not wake up."

"I know." He squeaks. "She kept telling me this might happen. I don't know what to do."

He hums softly, and loops his tail around the kit. "Come on then. We will bring you somewhere safe."

"O-ok."

They bring Pumpkin back to camp. Jayfeather calls him Pumpkinkit and adopts the kit as his own.

A molly named Barley joins the clan with her newborn kits, taking on the name Barleygrass.

Jayfeather and Redwillow become mates. Redwillow adopts Pumpkinkit as his own as well.

Grumpy man finds a pumpkin (Moon 5) Part 1.

Whitestar has her kits. A litter of three. Both her mates tucked against her and cooing over the newborns.

Whitestar is exhausted and can't exactly leave the nest what with the newborns, and her mates refuse to leave her side.

So Mothwing climbs up onto the root stone, and calls the clan to her.

"Whitestar is still recovering from having her kits earlier this morning, and Emberfoot refuses to leave her side. Which, honestly, no one can blame them for. So I will be doing the ceremony for today.

Sunpaw, will you please come up?"

She does so with a smile.

""I, Mothwing, medicine cat of Honeyclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?"

"Yes, I promise."

"Then you will be known as Sunstrike."

Sprite update (Moon 4)

Just became a warrior? Go get heat exaustion! (Moon 4)

Whitestar struggles to climb up onto the root stone, and Emberfoot comes up to help her.

She has to catch her breath before she can call her clan to her. Carrying kits was difficult on the body.

"Redpaw please come up."

He does so, grinning.

"I, Whitestar, leader of Honeyclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?"

"Yes." He meows.

"Very well, then you will be known as Redwillow."

When Squirrelflight finds out she's having kits she is terrified and delighted at the same time. Crowfeather tries to assure her that she'll be fine.

She explains she lost her first kits.

He frowns and grooms her ears. "We will just have to hope it will go better this time, and keep an eye on you."

She nods softly.

Redwillow gets heat exhaustion.

Try not to die! (Moon 3)

Whitestar announces that she is expecting kits!

She idly wonders which of her mates fathered them. Then again, both would help raise them. They would both take on the father role.

Redpaw warns the clan of a rouge ambush. After the threat is taken care of he is praised for getting help. It wouldn't have gone well if he had taken on the rouges on his own.

Woo! They are in love! (Moon 2)

Sunpaw twists her paw. Whitestar, Rainstorm, and Emberfoot become mates. Theyve been developing feelings for a while now and can no longer hide it. They announce it to the whole clan, and spend the day cuddling.

Snake bites (Moon 1)

Leafpool is bitten by a snake when trying to get it out of camp.

Squirrelflight has her tail injured by a fox.

Redpaw is trapped under a branch, but the rest of the patrol quickly helps him out. Luckily he is uninjured!

Jayfeather! A Medicine cat. Previously a Thunderclan medicine cat. 12 moons. Cis tom, he/him. Once thought Squirrelflight was his mother.

Redpaw! An apprentice. Previously a Shadowclan apprentice. 8 moons. AFAB, Trans tom, He/him. His mentor is Whitestar.

Sunpaw! An apprentice. Previously a Windclan apprentice. 7 moons. Cis molly, She/her. Her mentor is Emberfoot.

Icewing! A Queen. Previously a Riverclan warrior. 38 moons. Cis molly, she/her. Her kin includes: Mintfur (Warrior, Mate), Beetlekit (Kit, Son), Pricklekit (Kit, Son), Petalkit (Kit, Daughter), and Grasskit (Kit, Son). Is completely deaf.

Cinderpelt! The Starclan guide. Previously a Thunderclan medicine cat. Her old apprentice was Leafpool.

Starclan speaks to several cats in their dreams. They are to go on a journey and find a new territory to reside in, in order to help diversify the territories. The journey is long, and the cats settle into a forest territory with a nice river running through it. They are next to a few other clans who have different cultures.

Whitewater takes on the role of leader, becoming Whitestar, and takes Emberfoot as her deputy.

Icewing has her kits, and settles into the new nursery.

Crowfeather and Squirrelflight become mates.

The clan takes on the name Honeyclan.
