i am being so fucking serious when i say a lot of people need to free themselves and queer characters from the shackles of the idea of "good representation" you are stifling and limiting and shrinking queer characters down just so you can fit them into a "good representation" box and it's so. exhausting. queer characters are not a monolith. free yourselves. and them.

Hello Rope fandom 🙏
I recently got myself a copy of the Rope novelisation, I'm lucky to have found it, it's not just a retelling of the film- there's extra lore, internal thoughts (especially from Phillip!) and some dialogue. It became clear that I needed to find a way to get it out there for everyone to read, given how old this media is and how we will never get more content, this book is very valuable in that sense. So here it is scanned and uploaded to the internet archive in full, and I hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I have!
