Been a while so life update!

Got a job at the local grocery store and work in the meat department. I thought surely my lack of French would give me a hard time but no, I actually still have it.

I do the wrapping and pricing of products, occasionally spice the meat and even slicing things. Mostly these things called Grillades, it's like a fattier bacon that's not cured.

Anyway, it's makes good money, I'm still playing on going back to school but for now I work.

Find it funny that the day I leave Alberta for Quebec, the province goes into a state of emergency. I hope everyone is okay, more worried for my girlfriend- eh, she'll be fine. She can fist fight the fire :)

Funky life ramble

I find it real funny when life just hits you like a truck yknow? Not like in a bad way or a good way, just like a "holy shit" moment.

I have been living in Alberta for 5 whole years.. 5 years. That's insane to me. And now after those 5 years, I'm going back to Quebec..

It's not like I'm sad, mad, or even glad just kinda like.. woah, yknow? It's so wild to think that I graduated highschool and all.. Now I'm 19 and working to become a mechanic. Like that's fuckin wild!

And yknow the reason we're going back, my family and I, is because of a similar thing that happened 5 years ago.. our life being torn apart. But I'm not.. crying? I'm not angry? Just.. existing. Cause honestly, I think that's all we can do at this point, exist until we can't and try to have fun doing it.

I've changed so much over 5 years.. and yknow I wonder if my old friends from like grade 7 will even recognize me. I even got a girlfriend! I woulda never had that opportunity if I wasn't here.

I mean, I guess in conclusion, you're here on this planet, living, breathing, thinking for a reason. Even if it's a small reason in your eyes, it's still a reason. And I think I learnt that over my time staying in this stupid yeeyee ass province. In a way, I'm grateful for what happened to me.. kinda. And the people who tried to tear me down cause look at me now! I survived loser!!!
