“Merry Christmas, Asmita!” Regulus said as he gave him a box of scented candles that he bought from India from his last mission. Hopefully, Asmita would like it. After all, people who mediated a lot like using scented candles to relax, right? (protectheweak)

But of course it's Christmas, and of course the virgo Saint was sitting in the Lotus position. It's great to know that people are happy in the surroundings. --- Oh, Regulus .... --- Asmita was speechless for a few moments. Congratulations Regulus, you got Asmita out of Lotus position to receive the gift. --- I understarnd ..... It's candles. Candles that will be very well used in my meditation. Just because it is good for the spirit and body doesn’t mean it is fun. It was still boring to him. Asmita didn’t need to always be meditating.

However, he became interested when Asmita mention the eighth sense. He knew what the eight sense was but it surprised him to hear that Asmita has awakened that sense.

“Really?”

While he had never been to the Underworld, he knew of the horror of that place. However, he was not interested in learning about the Underworld, he was more interested in learning about the dead there.

“Have you been to everywhere in the Underworld? Have you been to Cocytus? Have you seen other saints who died there? How did you awaken the eighth sense? Is it because you meditate so much that you awaken it?”

Did Asmita see his father there? If he could learn how to awaken his eighth sense, then maybe he could see and speak to his father again. He was about to ask one more question when Asmita opened his eyes. He could do that? This was his first time seeing him open his eyes.

“Eh…”

He didn’t ask that many questions, did he? He couldn’t help but be curious. He didn’t understand what Asmita was saying but he wanted to understand.

“I don’t think Athena is stupid. I think she is brave for accepting those feelings and wanting to feel the same emotions as humans do.”

He was glad to hear that Asmita seemed to recognize that what Athena was doing was brave. Becoming human and accepting even the negativity that humans have to deal with.

“I don’t think you are a traitor. You just have a lot of questions like me. Besides, I think people think you are a traitor because you are strange and hard to understand. Like my father, he is strange and hard to understand too.” Although nobody ever thought his father was a traitor before. He didn’t think so but if they did, he wouldn’t know.

This time Asmita couldn’t be bothered by the questions he received. --- You did it again. --- He needed to comment, but Asmita did not show to be angry or bothered, in fact, it was funny. --- Asked a lot of questions at once, you really don’t realize when  you do this. It’s ok.People who ask more questions learn more. I don't stay long in the Underworld, I don’t want to bring problems to the other Saints or Athena, after all I can easily be noticed there. There are places that I forbid myself to go, like Judeca, and no .... I never got to talk to the Saints of another era. --- The blonde was thoughtful for a few seconds. --- Meditating helped me a lot. It was natural to me and was not forced. One day I just focused and felt a very big change in my body and my spirit. It took me a few minutes to realize that I had awakened my eighth sense.

   Hearing from the talent Leo Saint that Asmita himself was not a traitor was comforting. Asmita does not make a point of dismissing the rumors or what people think of him, after all he only has to contest the things he does for the Pope or Athena. It seemed selfish to think not to confirm anything to his Saints companions, but Asmita has no desire to do so.

However, even if he said that, he was not in a Halloween mood at the moment as he was still thinking of his father. Even when Asmita said his answer was admirable and how overcoming war fears, losses and death were necessary, he turned away, looking a little sad. While he did overcome his fears, he had never learned to overcome loss or death. He still missed his father and missed the many saints that die during the war. He missed them all so much. And how could one even overcome death? Weren’t they fighting against death in this war? They were fighting against Hades and his goal of bringing death to everyone.

He just didn’t understand.

“Why do you doubt Athena? I don’t understand. She is a good goddess unlike Hades and the other gods. She understands humans more than they do and she chose to be born as a human so she could be closer to us and understand us more. Humans are fragile but we can be very strong too. We have the potential to be strong. It is our emotions and the love and bond that we all share with each other that makes us strong. The gods don’t understand that.”

--- It's not boring. --- The blonde shook his head. --- Meditating is good for the spirit, and good for the spirit is certainly good for the body. --- These words are a disguised denial, Ah ... Asmita surely prefers to be at peace in her silence.

As unbelievable as it may be, hearing so many questions at one time only made Asmita open her eyes and showed that she was tired just hearing them. --- I don't think even at the beginning of my life, I had asked so many questions to Buddha even with all my doubts as you just asked. There are questions that not even the Pope can answer me. I thought it was a great  stupidity Athena  being among humans, and yet ..... I must agree. Athena is very attached to the life she has and considers her friends very much. She once visieted my Temple and I noticed that there was an immeasurable sadness in her, and yet she said she would rather be sad. Ah .... It takes a lot of courage to accept such negative feelings. I think one day I will understand her, I don't want to sound like a traitor, but questioning and not accepting things easily is part of my nature.

Asmita was planning to stay in his temple on Halloween?! Halloween was still one year away but there was no way Regulus going to allow him to stay inside on a fun night.

Regulus was determined that the Virgo saint will have fun. However, speaking about Halloween, Regulus knows that not all ghost visits were bad.

Unless it was from his father but he knew that would never happen. Even when Asmita changed the topic to the Holy War, his thoughts still lingered to his father.
