like yes Glinda's mad because Elphaba's getting what she wants even though she feels like she should be winning, but its so funny that Glinda has the whole ass school doing organized choreo and singing about how much the girl who makes Glinda's pulse race and face flush (OUT OF HATRED) is awful and Glinda's great, and the SECOND Glinda realizes said girl (WHO SHE DEFINITELY HATES IN A NORMAL WAY) isn't paying attention, she ends the song, leaves everyone dancing, and runs off to her room alone

I love the implication that the Glinda and Elphaba just sit across from each other, alone at this giant table just to stare at each other and contemplate how much they hate each other and the whole school knows not to go sit with them an intrude in whatever they have going on

Catco Magazine - Supergirl’s new ‘suit’
or Kara had a ‘do-i-want-to-be-her-or-do-i-want-to-be-with-her’ moment when she saw Lena in a three-piece suit and decided to go with the first option…

Okay something I loved about the acting choices in the Wicked movie was the way Galinda would always take a second to quickly study the person she was talking to before speaking. Basically every time she was presented with a novel situation, she paused a single moment, stared intently at their face, and then reacted.
It was sometimes played up for comedic effect (like when she opened the door to their shared bedroom), but oftentimes it would be so quick you'd hardly notice. She meets Elphaba, she pauses, then glances around at everyone else's reactions. When Elphaba responds negatively to her "charitable goodness", she asks her friends if she did something bad and "how did that come across?" When Bowen Yang idk his character's name pulled out the black hat, she looked at it, then looked up at his face, then responded with a dismissive remark about it. Galinda is constantly studying everyone around her and basing her responses off of their responses, she's constantly mimicking and mirroring and performing. And people fall for it. They love it. They eat it up, because she gives them exactly what they want from her. Every person she meets is enchanted by her - except Elphaba. Elphaba, who sees through her charade, who might even see the real her - the one Galinda barely knows herself.
That makes her the most terrifying and desirable person Galinda has ever met. That's why Galinda is always staring, studying, soaking her in at every chance she gets.

In One Short Day when Glinda says “two best…” and then pauses, looks confused and a little unsatisfied before finishing with a soft, “..friends.”

It really is nice how obviously fond Elphaba is of Glinda right off the bat in the movie, with What Is This Feeling showcasing how much Elphaba enjoys their little feud. For the first time in her life, someone's judging her for her, rather than her skin or her magic. Glinda doesn't give a shit that she's green, she's mad that Elphaba's taste in clothes and decor clash so severely with her own! She doesn't care that Elphaba could accidentally kill her if she got too angry, she's too busy being upset that Elphaba keeps minorly inconveniencing her! How refreshing that would be, to meet the most annoying person in the world and discover that her own narcissism has caused her to be the only person who sees you for who you really are. Of course Elphaba would take the hat seriously as a gift -- has anyone other than Dulciebear ever gifted her anything? Of course she would gamble her own self-confidence at the Ozdust -- at worst, Glinda's ego is so massive that she would never allow her mortal enemy to be the butt of someone else's joke. And in the best case, well, Glinda recognizes how important she is to the one person that she knows has no one. The only one who gets her, the only one who has ever understood her, standoffish and rude the way a stray cat is before it finally follows you indoors.
It's a real shame this story couldn't be anything other than a tragedy, huh?
