ahhhh surgeries and life and work have been too much!!!!!!! but, have been drawing more! need to draw more concepts for my othehr neo ocs, and draw my kougra too... wanna set up each of my pets with a lookup base, yes yes... make it easier to make little ASSETS to slot into their pages !!!!! ....says this when having another surgery in 10 days lol ahh ah... ah okay, but neopets wise, have managed to colelct voids every day! got my wife the Golden Shell he has wanted for YEAAAARS thanks to it being a daily quest weekly award i think!? suddenly 10mil.. snagged one for 8mil.. yes yes success

sitting down to seek out some, overlapping qualities in pets.... kacheek and poogle, i feel first that comes to mind. head shape..
might be a stretch, but poogle body remindings me of wocky... altho the 'foot' is definitely different, so handwaving this one a lil
this was mostly a "haha similarly drawn" but im a lil hmm..eyemask, lighter underside of face... 3 digits....

Tbh there is a nostalgia to this specific style of shoyru lineart that I really wanna try to capture for Boimo.
I know Shoyru is suppose to evoke the vibes of Mew but this is also giving Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite in different ways.
I don't know why but when I was little I thought only rich people could have the desert pets xD I remember admiring desert shoyrus.
Starry/fire seemed popular back then... I started with a blue shoyru that I painted purple then later silver... And I just like the colour palette of the old striped more. The saturated shadows make it look almost glowy.
Anyway, that's the end of my shoyru nostalgia for now, I have to be a productive human.
