It's so interesting how Taash seems to exist in an idealized bubble of the world. Like they're young and that's a lot of it, but their view of the world seems to be a little in conflict with the reality of it all.

Talking about how Shiv pays them a finders fee for dalish artifacts while the Dalish are notoriously poor. There's something else happening in that exchange.

When you're a Lord of Fortune you can seem confused by their insistence that the Lords aren't thieves. Implying either a major shift in how it operates since you left a little over a year ago (if you believe Solas) or that maybe they don't fully follow all the goings on.

When they're telling stories about their mother there's a lot of not realizing how much of it was Shathann making things up and indulging them. Lying about the candy being stolen by rats and in buying them a set of matching hatchets. Telling boogeyman stories about The Crows.

Taash is very no bullshit about the things they care about such as dragons, but barely pay attention to anything else. They'll call out misinformation if they notice it, but there's a lot of the world they just outright don't seem to notice or think about until directly confronted by it.
