Paul Amos’ take on Jacob’s character (from the Assassin’s Den podcast) tears me up. It’s come out that Jacob seems to seriously need Evie on a much deeper level than what’s healthy, and that her absence might have caused him to relapse and lose himself quite a bit after she moved to India. It makes it even more heartbreaking how they ended up staying separated for so long, which didn’t even seem very realistic or sensible in the first place, considering how close and almost supernaturally attached twins generally tend to be to each other. I kind of wish they could’ve just stayed together somehow. I don’t know what they were thinking, moving so far apart.
