Anime background observation: The banner outside of the book shop changes to promote Icha Icha Paradise for the first time just before Kakashi gets assigned team 7.

Which aligns perfectly with how Kakashi seems to be reading it for the very first time during the bell test.

And that's the sort of thing that make me feel intense fondness for the people who care about tiny tiny details on huge productions.

Hi! I'm accompanying this mysterious little ghost while he's trick or treating. So far, this is all the candy we got. He insisted we visit you because his friend says that all ninken are cool and totally awesome

His friend was right... BUT IT WAS A SETUP ALL ALONG!

He really should have learned to always expect a ninken ambush by now. Hope you'll enjoy the treats OBITO! >:3

Once the little ghost has received the Gift of the Ninken (an overwhelming amount of literal dog treats and a few vampire bites from Bisuke) he's forced to endure a series of mild insults about his low-effort costume by Kakashi, even though Kakashi's own costume consists of two unimpressive flaps of fabric stuck inside his headband. The little ghost is then given one human treat for his efforts.

Kakashi explains that the treat is big because he's dressed up as Pakkun so the dog-to-lollipop scale had to be right (heavily implying that he didn't get special big candy because he likes Obito or anything)
