Secret whispers…
If you visit a temple in India, and you see the statue of a bull, you are sure it is a Shiva Temple. The bull’s name is Nandi, and Lord Shiva rides it. But not only that…If you stay for a while you will see how people approach and whisper their wishes in Nandi’s ears… Actually it’s because nobody will dare to disturb Lord Shiva while He is in deep meditation, with His eyes closed. But Nandi is always guarding Him, with eyes and ears open… So, people trust their wishes to Nandi knowing that it will pass them to Shiva at the correct time.. ………………………………Kapaleeshwarar Temple.
