I finally have all the materials to give it my first go at making a ball jointed doll. I’ve never done this before but I’ll be happy if I end up with anything that looks like an articulated doll.

I also hope I can somewhat translate my usual cartoony drawing style into 3D.

Hopefully Tumblr wont shoot me down for x nipples in a doll body.

Trying to relearn how to work with clay, it is always harder than how tutorials make it look lol but would love to eventually make my own bjd dolls.

Maybe I am not wetting the clay enough? it still feels very paper like 🤔

Before and After:

This past month I've been slowly restoring this plushie that used to be from my mom when she was a kid (I checked and it's not a rushton).

I'm only missing repainting his face a bit, but I'm pretty happy with how it looks, it was more fun than I thought.

So the bad news is that I have no idea where did younger me stored the original pattern for my Golden Freddy, I've looked everywhere and I either threw it away at some point because I thought I didn't need it (which sadly happened often) or I simply lost it.

The good news is I am redoing it and fixing a couple details I was never a big fan of (like how flat he looks from the side) and while I'm at it, I am doing two sizes (big 46cm-ish and a smaller around 15-20cm).

I'd love to be done to sell for the December holidays but we'll see.

Wip Plague Doctor muppet, puppet (still confused at which one is which). Pattern by me, started about a year ago and haven't had time to finish yet.

Design and building process of my latest creature, I wanted to have a small being based on old projects that could fit in a pocket, sit on my desk while I work, or maybe hang from a bag.

Im pretty happy with the result and proud of myself with how my abilities with making simple patterns have grown.

I ended with two head variations and want to make a standing body too, just to have different options.

Still debating if I want to sell the pattern, or keep it and sell a bunch of plushies (with decorations and a bit more personality).

A collection of different old plushies in different states of process and made at different points in the past 15ish years.

I want to keep playing with the first pattern, I think I could make some interesting creatures with it.

Radioactive bunny could make some cute plushies for hand pocket size.

Last one I don’t think I’ll do another, it was an experiment to try make an articulated one with wire but I am not a fan of the pattern nor the inner structure.

Sure! I would love to eventually sell this pattern (and others), I just need to find where I stored the pattern and find a way to digitalize it (plus I would like to also make a tutorial to go along with it).

I also want to make a smaller version since this one is around 30cm/11in sitting down and sell both together in case someone prefers a smaller boy.

One of my first plushie projects, I don't have the exact date but was probably between 13 and 16 years old.

I would love to eventually redo this pattern and make it look how I imagined it inside my head at the time.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach Sun pattern made by me.

He is a big guy because I wanted to fit a music box inside of him, which is disguised as the hook on his back (he plays "You are my Sunshine").

Started this around a year? (maybe two) and might need to be pressured into finishing it 😂

Going through a profession crisis of sorts, decided to go back into making plushies and dolls and see what happens.

Eventually, I would love to sell patterns and dolls (fingers crossed).
