3rd Annual Fashion Fusion 2017

June 4th, 2017 in York, Pa myself and a few ladies rocked the stage in some wonderful, fashionable pieces.  

The Designer who I collaborated with was Camille designer of Camille's House of Style. She is not only a designer but a Hair Dresser as well.

I wore a leopard printed dress with black mesh. This design was comfy, beautiful and perfect for a night out!. The design was accompanied by some Bold Golden designs. 

Here were another one of Camille's Designs for the night. A Chinese-inspired dress with a beautiful flow as the model walked.

Hair & Makeup was done by Delisa for the night.

Call time for the show was 12pm. We had 3 hours to get several models done for the show and get final details set up on the venue and outfits.  I mingled all morning with several models as we waited for show time. To my Left is model Bryce, who also walked in the show.

Though is is not a professional photo from the event this picture was during my single walk on the runway in Camille's design. After my single walk, I and 2 other models came out in a Trio and did a final flood walk and ended with a fierce pose on stage. Afterward, I took some photos on the backdrop showing off the garment.

Under the Sea Rock & Roll Fashion Show

This was the most unique show I have walked in. It was gathered around babes, beauty, fashion, music and for some alcohol. You had to be on the guest list though to get into this rockin, edgy event!. 

Bands for the night includes Jaxy and the Three 57's, The Russian White, Riverside Odds, and Stealing Fame

Our Makeup Artist for the night was Victoria from the Jean Madeline Institue. Her detail was amazing. The Theme was “Under the Sea” and I went out as a mermaid.

Myself and several other models walked in several designer wear. Designers Include Jaxy Oh!., BlackStarr Fashions, Dark Jasmine, M & R Fashions, and Angelique. 

We each walked to the band as they played music.

Model Jenna & I have worked with each other on several assignments, it was great seeing her again for this show...2 hour from home!. Wow! 

My First Designer shout out goes to Jaxy of Jaxy Oh! with this stunning Blue Sea Inspired Dress. It was comfy and fit beautifully. Jaxy is a rock and roll inspired designer and also plays in a band.

Another Designer I would like to give a shout of is Jasmine Goodwin of Dark Jasmine with this awesome Ariel inspired look for the show. She hit the nail on the head recreating as Ariel comes ashore from the movie. 

Thank You, Emvi Bardot, for hosting this unique, creative and wonderful event. This was a rock & roll dream.

“Swing” Dubby’s Music Video

This was truly one of the most unique gigs I have ever been booked for!. I had shot one music video before but nothing like this one. It was a 3-day endeavor that production, actors, and artists spent busting their behinds to get this done and make it perfect.  ( I was only needed for two days)

We started both days but jumping straight into Hair & Makeup. The Theme of the video is post-Apocalyptic so most of us had War Paint on that associated with our tribe colors. This Photos above are from the red faction. Lead Actress, Emily, played “Red” the leader. Our Makeup Artist for the day was Serena Cucuzza 

I played a beautiful wife that doesn't really get involved with the warrior nonsense. To my side is Actor Lance R. a former PA resident who moved to NYC to pursue his passion. We were apart of the yellow faction and were the only two left.

This image was taken by the art of the entire video, Bradley Atoms. He was our Photographer, Videographer, and Director. This picture is from a scene taken upon our kidnapping at Location #2. Actor: Lance R & Hillaire K.

Our first location ( Day 1 ) was at an old cabin along with a body of water to film the first couple scenes. This involved the Yellow and the Green Faction. We spend most of the day here getting prepped and shooting some smaller scenes for the video.

Our Last Location ( Day 3 ) was my favorite. We spent the day in the field ( with ticks of course ) shooting the final scenes of the music video. A Lot of murder and kidnapping went on in theses couple scenarios. 

The best part of the music video???. Well, the war horses of course!. This is Lance ( The Horse ). Emily rode him to battle in a few scenes throughout the day. It was Stellar!. 

The music video will be out late this year. It was a magical few days on set with the rowdy crew. #TeamLoko

Little Miss Tea Party Fashion Show

April 22nd, 2017 was Harrisburg's 4th Annual Little Miss Tea Party Fashion Show. 

This show is building its way up the charts year after year and I was truly blessed to be apart of it. 

Our Goal was to promote beauty, Kids to Adults. I think we succeeded. 

Any event where I can interact with kids and tell them about my goal as a model is a great show to me.

Our Designer for the day was ABW Productions of whom I have worked with before. I wore a custom Pink dress with lace, gems and a belt to finish.  

Hair & Makeup was done by Andrea Fulton. This was one of my favorite hairstyles done on any set. Thank You Andrea!

I was accompanied by several other models from the area, some of who I worked with before this event. It was great having as all reunite for this show.

NexGen Fashion Show

April 1st 2017 - Nex Gen Fashion Show in Harrisburg Pa @ The Red Lion Hotel.

The event was a conference to encourage young creative kids to pursue a career in the arts industry. There were classes on acting, entrepreneurship, makeup/hair, music, and design. 

This was their first time having a Fashion Show and it was a HIT

Designers in the show that I walk for includes ABW Productions, Beni Empire, Bornatty, NY Furs.

Hair Style was a sleek back ponytail to frame my face. My Hair Stylist was Paris ( A Student From Empire Beauty School ) 

This feirce makeup look was done by  Dre'neisha Janice, a student from Divine Crown and owner of Beauty Vibes. She is simply the best!.

Our Call time was early in the A.M and right away we got to work doing hair, makeup and walking the runway!. The show wasn’t until 1:30 but it was sure worth the wait for those attending. I walked for 4 out of 5 of the designers and ripped the runway!.

After hair and makeup, we went straight to have a small photoshoot in some of the designer wear. I chose “Beni Empire” who is a local designer to the Harrisburg Area. Donald Hill, the Designer is fun, loving and creative! A true work of art. 

This is an image of one my favorite looks EVER by Bornatty, a designer from out of state who loves using colorful fabrics and combining them. This dress was sexy and comfortable. 

I truly had a good time working with Andrea and the ABW Productions team for this project. I am super excited for next years event.

Harrisburg Fashion Week 2018 Promo Shoot

Sunday, March 13th 5 other models and myself shot some promo images with Scott Church for the 2018 #HFWPA show. The Runway show is to take place in Spring of 2018 in Harrisburg, Pa.

We spent 9 hours shooting various looks such as Lingerie, Short Dreses, HFW Shirts and Long Gowns. It was a spectacular day creating some magic and getting to know one another.

“Halo” - Sorority Noise Music Video

What a Wonderful couple hours shooting with Kyle Thrash and Ian Ross, Producers from the East Coast who have worked with many talented artists. Kyle & Ian got the job done and made my first music video a breeze!.

We shot in New Jersey, in a beautiful town where the houses were big and surrounded a small body of water. Myself, Zoe, Christina, and Kayley were playing Prep Girls that went to a Private School. We were young girls in Highschool who just wanted to have fun but couldn’t see our friends pain and grief. We shot two scenes for the music video at this location.

The video we shot was for “Halo” by Sorority Noise. We spent the day meeting the band and shooting our scenes, eating pizza and sharing stories. It was a blast!. Everyone was so talented and friendly, from the Actresses to the family, Directors and the Band Members.

This was my First Supporting Role and First Music Video!. I love being an extra but I think being one of the main Characters/Supporting is my new favorite!. The Lead, Zoe a LA Girl who moved to NYC for school became one of my best friends throughout the day. She is truly talented in what she does, So much emotion and talent.

Philadelphia UArts Fashion Show & Vogue Battle

I had the honor of meeting some really talented and beautiful ladies!. This image is a group shot of Designer, Kuan’s Models wearing “Ash Matriarch” and “Shade” 

This was my first time doing Runway in Lingerie but I was a lot of fun. I felt confident and ripped that runway to shreds.

Miss Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant

January 14th 2017,

I competed for the Miss Central Scholarship Pageant!. It was a very productive day from rehearsals, interviews, fittings and stage performances.  Everyone did so well and it was so well organized. I cannot wait to do it again!. 

Though I did not place, I made many memories and ties with some really talented ladies of the competition. Everyone truly deserved to go home with something. This was my first glitz pageant and I must say I was very unprepared but I made the best of it and got through the day with a pretty decent score for being a newcomer to the national pageants world. 

I wore a green dress for my opening number. We simply just introduced ourselves where we were from, what school we went to and what for as well as our platforms. Mine was Finding a Cure for Pancreatic Cancer. 

We all started off in swimwear!. This was a new portion of competition for me and I think it went very swimmingly. 

Next phase was Talent. I went out on a limb and brought my firefighter gear from my station and did a quick dress in under a minute, beating my record of 35 seconds!. The audience thought it was very unique and I sure had fun doing it. 

Evening Gown was out last walk of the competition. I was escorted by my prince charming, Evan M. We thought it would be funny to do a hair flick for the audience and he sure stole my spotlight. I wore a black gown with sequin at the top. 

Last, oh that dreaded question. I have such a high amount of anxiety speaking on stage but each time gets a little better.

We all had so much fun!. The new 2017 Miss Central Pennsylvania was crowned along with the Miss Freedom Forge and Miss Juniata. I cannot wait to compete next year!.

Smilebuilderz Commercial

What is it like being an extra in a commercial?. Well from first time and first hand experience I have to say it is wonderful!. The Leads are very encouraging, the film directors are funny and energetic and your local background actors are more than just fake family. 

Just two days before call day I got a last minute audition to play a background family member during a “Surprize Birthday Party”. The 7th I had arrived on set at 2pm ( call time ) to a frantic of actors and producers both running around trying to get stuff done. I was then guided to the “holding cell” for background to get ready, eat and sign release forms.  I had met some really great people right off the bat!.

We soon starting shooting the scene. Everyone was in perfect sync and everything went so smooth.

Schwarzkopf Hair Show Manheim, Pa

On October 15th 2016 I took home Audition Number 2 of 4. I was booked by Schwarzkopf Professionals alongside with 3 other beautiful ladies!.

I went from a long haired Dirty Blonde to a Sassy Red Head for the show!. I was booked by Damien Carney (NY) and Chris Fiffe (LA) for the show. I got to work with each of their team of stylists for the weekend. Audition day was rather short but Tomorrow was when the real fun began.

We drove further south to central Lancaster, Pa to a real salon that housed Schwarzkopf Professional Products!. We spend up to 5 hours in the chair getting our hair colored, wardrobe fittings and practicing our walks for the big day!. It was a long day but it soon came to an end and show say was here before we knew it!. 

Show day started at 8 am. Our call time was not until 3 but their was much to be done before our time to shine. We did more hair prep, more walking, went through wardrobe once more, spent some time in the Makeup chair and ate, when we could!. When 3pm came around I was in the chair with Damien Carney as he cut a lot of length off my new red hair!. The crowd loved it and I do to!.

I had a blast with these 3 ladies!. I hope to work with them again sometime soon

Standing Out!.

After four years of jumping back and forth between so many different types of modeling genres I found a love for Hair shows. I think its the fact I can change the way I look for a short period of time and get pampered more than what you would on a regular photo shoot set for an ad. I have also noticed that hair shows are on the most common castings for models both starting out and advanced so its important to really stick out. Here is what I have observed and how you can stand out in the crowd....

1) In a big room Sit on the end, near other models to show your social and not trying to stick out. Sit close to the front of the room but I wouldn’t suggest the very front row. From experience the stylists want to look out yonder in the crowd for an eye catching face and set of hair. If the casting room does not have seating and you are directed to stand in a straight line, staying in the middle and have good posture and smiling is a must. 

2) Wear something eye catching. Whatever you wear make it stand out. Nobody cares if you show a little skin, are wearing jeans, a dress or a raincoat just as long as its black and flatters your figure it makes your stand out. The more black the better and heels are a must as well!. 

3) Bringing comp cards, a portfolio and head shots is a plus. Normally Stylists don’t look at past experience but in some cases your head shot may be the choice between you and another model. This also shows you are a prepared and ready to get down to business. 

4) Make your hair shine for the day of the casting. Don’t curl it, crimp it or have it up in a pony tail. Leave it natural and softly combed through. What I do suggest is making it look and feel as healthy as possible. Once your hair catches their eye they like to feel the texture to make sure you are a good candidate.  

5) Be extremely willing!. This may sound obvious but most castings will split you in two groups : Anything goes and you have your limits. My suggestion is if your willing to do anything but cut it like myself, or most models. Go to the Anything goes side. Your most likely to get picked and they don’t just assume “Anything goes”, They ask. They know everyone has their limited but sitting on the “Anything goes” side opens you up to getting looked at more. 

6) Smile and take in the surrounds. Be animated with the stylists and show you want to be there. Doing so can make you catch their eye from the start.

Scruples Hair Show Grantville, Pa

On May 1st Myself & 7 other beautiful (oh and Handsome) Models Rocked the stage in the Ocean Systems Hair Show in Grantville, Pa. I had the honor of working with each and everyone of the hair stylists, Makeup artists and Getting to know my fellow models. The show was to show the public Scruples new line these is not released until June!. 

Working with Amy was a blast! On May 1st, Casting day and Prep day for selected models started and ended with a dark coat of hair dye. A Balayage of Clay Lightener was applied to my hair on Show day in front of a wonderful crowd!. Not only does it look great, but boy do I feel great!.

The Show started at 8am on Monday we started into wardrobe, hair prep and Makeup to all be ready by 9am Show time. I show lasted till about 1pm while having a blast with a every interacted crowd!. I had a beautiful smokey eye to match my new cut and color provided by Amy and her Team!.

In the end, The day was over all successful, fast paced and extremely fun. I had a great time representing the Scruples team with 7 others and a great Hair styling Crew. Photos by Sean.

L’anza Hair Show Hershey,Pa

It’s that time of year again!. Hair Show Season!. As everyone knows Hair and Makeup Runway and Show is my strong point and my favorite things to do. Last show as Jan. of 2015 when my hair was dyed so many crazy colored and submitted into a NAHA Award in Las Vegas. None of us from Hair Ink Salon in York, Pa Placed but boy was it a blast!.

On April 2nd myself and about twenty other girls showed up to the Hershey Lodge to audition with Beauty is Salon, and L’anza Healing hair products. Only 6 of us were picked, Kayla, Maddy, Hayley, Sarah, Mia and Myself. We created a bond as soon as possible. 

April 3rd and It was Prep Day!. (Images includes Left to right, Maddy, Sarah, Hayley and Me). We started off at 9 in the morning and did not end until 5 PM. The day was packed full of hair dying, cutting, perfecting our walks and cracking jokes with the stylists. Kayla, Ended up with purple/violet hair which suited her very nicely. Mia, went a little crazy  with red, a tad of yellow and black and suited for a haircut as well. Maddy went off the wall with all teal hair of which she killed the look perfectly. Sarah, Stayed a red head but they added a little more read and a purpleish base. She was on FIRE!. Hayley, stayed a perfect blonde with a little different of a shade and ripped the stage with some awesome styling. Myself, I went with a soft grapfruit/pink with dirty blonde tips and styling. I went for a layered hair cut as well onstage during show day!.

April 3rd was the final day!. All of use were up before the birds getting ready for the big show at 10am and another at 1:45 pm. We all looked stunning doing our runway walk and routine and ending the walk with a bang looking sophisticated and turning some heads. We were all dressed in white or black and showcased ot hair styles.

At 1:45 was my independent time on stage. Ammon started with pulling back my hair so he could make my cut into a “Shag”. The pink really stood out as cameras flooded over my face. He took into into two layers, long so I could still pull my hair back and gave them some volume. My hair no longer tangled!. He did a fantastic job!. 

It was truly a blase working with these fine ladies and wonderful stylists and creators! #Lanzahair #Lanza #Hairmodels #Hershey #Fashion
